Listed below are the Friday community scent of the day projects for 2016. (You can find 2014 here and 2015 here, or skip to 2017).
2016 ~ finished
1/1 Happy New Year! Wear the perfume that will bring you luck, health and prosperity in 2016
1/8 Woodfest Friday. Wear something woody — but no oud, because we already did oud!
1/15 Wear a fragrance from Bvlgari, if you have one
1/22 Noir Friday: forget the fragrances with "Noir" in the name....wear a fragrance that feels / smells Noir to you.
1/29 Shalimar Friday! Wear Guerlain Shalimar, or a Shalimar flanker, or a perfume that is related to Shalimar in some way (it does not have to be by Guerlain!)
2/5 1 Star Friday: wear your favorite perfume ranked only one star by Luca Turin, either in Perfumes: the Guide (if you don't own the book, you can find a compiled list at Basenotes) or in his Style Arabia columns. Partial credit for a two-star perfume! (suggested by Bastet)
2/12 5 Star Friday: wear your favorite perfume ranked five stars by Luca Turin, either in Perfumes: the Guide (if you don't own the book, you can find a compiled list at Basenotes) or in his Style Arabia columns. Partial credit for a four-star perfume!
2/19 Wear a perfume by Maurice Roucel, if you have one (suggested by Elisa)

3/18 I Hate...Oh Wait. Wear a perfume you love that features a note or style you always thought you hated. (suggested by pixel)
3/25 Picture challenge, edition 1. Wear a perfume that matches the picture. We're staring off with Max Ernst, The Nymph Echo, 1936. (you can find larger versions here and here, and you can read the story from Greek mythology about Echo on Wikipedia.) (someone suggested the picture challenge, raise your hand if it was you!)
4/1 April Fools Day! We're going for pure fun today: wear your most-fun-ever perfume. (suggested by thegoddessrena)
4/8 Wear a perfume by Sophia Grojsman, if you have one
4/15 What's in a name, part 1. We're wearing rose today.
4/22 What's in a name, part 2. Today we're wearing "misnamed" fragrances. You can interpret that howsoever you wish. The project was suggested by Dilana, who noted that Jardins d’Écrivains Orlando smelled like traditional honey cake instead of a modernist multi-gender novel or hero/heroine.
4/29 Wear one of your "top 10 of spring" fragrances (unless it's fall where you are, in which case wear one of your "top 10 of fall" scents)
5/6 Wear a fragrance from Tom Ford, if you have one.
5/13 Chypre Friday. Wear a chypre, classic or modern or post-modern.

6/3 Leap of Faith Friday: wear a scent you’ve never worn before with bonus points for a scent you haven’t read about and don’t know the notes for. Suggested by Eleebelle.
6/10 Fake it Friday: Wear a cheaper alternative (it can be anything: a different fragrance, an essential oil, layered products, a combination of perfume and body products) to a more expensive perfume. Suggested by Hajusuuri.
6/17 Wear a fragrance by Kenzo, if you have one.
6/24 A House Divided: wear two fragrances from the same house, but don't layer (one on each wrist, or whatever). Suggested by Lisa D.

7/8 Wear a citrus cologne, classic or modern.
7/15 Wear one of your "top 10 of summer" fragrances (unless it's winter where you are, in which case wear one of your "top 10 of winter" scents)
7/22 Flashback Friday — wear a fragrance you wore "back in the day". I think this was suggested by Bee and MikasMinion?
7/29 Huesday on Friday: wear a fragrance inspired by one or both of these colors from Pantone's Spring/Summer 2016 collection — Limpet Shell ("A shade of aqua that leans toward the green family, Limpet Shell is clear, clean and defined. Suggestive of clarity and freshness, its crisp and modern influences evoke a deliberate, mindful tranquility.") and Peach Echo ("The fashion and design communities, and consequently, consumers, have been in love with orange for several seasons. Coming to the fore this Spring is, Peach Echo, a shade that emanates friendlier qualities, evoking warmth and accessibility. It is an all-encompassing, tempered companion in the playful orange family.") Huesday was suggested by TheGoddessRena and Olenska.
8/5 Wear a fragrance by Francis Kurkdjian, if you have one.
8/12 Fabulous but fleeting: wear a perfume you love even though it doesn't last as long as it should. Suggested by Mariann.

10/14 Wear one of your Top 10 of Fall fragrances.
