2021 ~ upcoming
6/11: For King Kamehameha I Day, wear a tropical or beachy floral. Bonus points if your fragrance includes at least one floral or fruit note native to Hawaii. (Native in modern times, that is, given that many of the flowers and fruits we associate with Hawaii were brought from elsewhere.)
6/18: Bottle Porn Friday: wear something you bought in part or in full because of the bottle, or a fragrance you think has a beautiful (or otherwise perfect) bottle. (suggested by michael and happy888cat , this is a repeat of a project we did in 2015 and 2017.)
6/25: In honor of Anthony Bourdain's birthday, wear a fragrance that you think of as adventurous, or interpret this project in any way you like
7/2: Since Donatella will be dropping by later for the damage poll, wear one of your recent purchases, and tell us why you bought it, and whether or not you have any regrets.
7/9: July is Ice Cream month. Tell us your favorite flavor, share a recipe if you like, and wear any perfume that you think fits the project.
2021 ~ finished
1/15: Wear a fragrance to match Ultimate Gray and/or Illuminating, Pantone's colors of the year for 2021. ("PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray + PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating, two independent colors that highlight how different elements come together to support one another, best express the mood for Pantone Color of the Year 2021. Practical and rock solid but at the same time warming and optimistic, the union of PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray + PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating is one of strength and positivity. It is a story of color that encapsulates deeper feelings of thoughtfulness with the promise of something sunny and friendly. A message of happiness supported by fortitude, the combination of PANTONE 17-5104 Ultimate Gray + PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating is aspirational and gives us hope. We need to feel that everything is going to get brighter – this is essential to the human spirit.")

1/29: Wear a fragrance by (Thierry) Mugler, if you have one.

2/12: Welcome Year of the (Metal) Ox! Wear a fragrance that represents diligence, dependability, loyalty, honesty and hard work.
2/26: It's Levi Strauss Day. Do what you like with the theme.
3/12: For plant a flower day, name a favorite flower that you grow in your garden (or in a pot?) or that grows locally, and wear a fragrance with that flower.

3/26: Guessing Game Friday, edition 4: describe your perfume to us, OR, give your perfume the name it ought to have had, and we'll see if we can guess what it is. Suggested by Glannys.
4/9: Antiquities Friday: wear the oldest scent you own (you can interpret this as you like — the one you've owned the longest? worn the longest? the earliest launch date? whatever). Suggested by pyramus.
4/16: Spring clean! Wear the perfect fragrance for doing household chores. Suggested by LisaD.
4/23: Wear one of your "top 10 of spring" fragrances (unless it's fall where you are, in which case wear one of your "top 10 of fall" scents)
4/30: April showers bring May flowers...whatever the weather, wear a spring floral.
5/7: I really shouldn't have...wear a fragrance you shouldn't have bought, you shouldn't wear, or shouldn't ? (This project was suggested by Katrina, and I can't find the original comment so I hope I have captured her meaning.)
5/21: It's World Meditation Day. Wear whatever you think fits the theme.
5/28: Summer Vacation Friday...wear a fragrance that reminds you of a favorite vacation, that fits an upcoming vacation, or that would work for a vacation you wish you could take. (If it's winter where you are, adjust accordingly.)
6/4: With A Little Help from My Friends... wear a perfume that you received from someone else, either here at Now Smell This or elsewhere, or that you never would have tried if someone else hadn't recommended it, or worn it, or reviewed it. Adapted from a suggestion by Jalapeno.
