The Fragrance Foundation has announced the semi-finalists for the 2012 Fifi Awards, known as the "Oscars of the fragrance industry". For each category, the original list of 10 semi-finalists is now whittled down to 5 (or more in case of a tie).
The final awards will be presented on May 21 at an event hosted by Glee star Jane Lynch. Voting for the Consumer's Choice Awards will begin on Monday and run through May 14.

Justin Bieber's Someday was awarded Celebrity Fragrance of the Year, and Victoria of Bois de Jasmin won an award for Editorial Excellence for her article Luxury vs Function in Perfumery.
