French manufacturer of crystalware, jewelry and accessories. The firm was founded by René Jules Lalique (1860-1945), a world renowned designer of art glass and jewelry. In 1907, Francois Coty hired Lalique to create perfume labels, later, the bottles produced by Lalique for the Coty brand helped to revolutionize the packaging and marketing of perfume.
Lalique produced its first fragrance under its own brand name in 1992: Parfum Lalique, now known as Lalique de Lalique. Lalique Pour Homme was introduced in 1997.
Lalique has been owned by Swiss company Art & Fragrance since 2008.
