Lalique will launch Fleur de Cristal, a new fragrance marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of René Lalique.

The notes for the floral fragrance for women include bergamot, jasmine, lily of the valley, cashmeran, amber and sandalwood.

I will update with sizes and concentration when I can find them. (via parfums-tendance.fr)

Update: Fleur de Cristal was developed by perfumer Raphaël Haury; additional notes include pink pepper, stephanotis, musk. It will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. A limited edition Parfum Extrait will also be sold.

Demeter Naturals Sage perfumeDemeter has launched Sage, a new addition to their Naturals collection:

Uplifting yet relaxing. A unique fresh scent with light herbal notes and sweet fresh greenery.

Demeter Naturals Sage is available in 15 or 50 ml Eau de Toilette ($8-29). (via demeterfragrance)

My good friend nickgblue offered to give me a whole bottle of Fleur de Cristal, which he had received in a goodie bag. It was too generous a gift to accept at the time, but I think I might have liked it – I have a soft spot for Perles de Lalique – and the notes are very “me”.

This sounds really good. I love Perles and especially love Amethyst. I can’t wait to sniff Fleur de Cristal. It’s very hard to find Lalique scents in Holland, and samples are pretty much impossible. Unless the owner of my former favorite perfume shop stocks Lalique when he resurfaces with a new business. I’d love to hear from those who sniff it.

It’s very hard here too, they do not have good distribution in the US at all.

I’m actually kind of into the idea of that Sage. It might be good for layering. (Says the woman who has given away every Demeter bottle she ever bought.)

I’m there with you Miss Kitty. The only Demeter I really like, so far, is Paperback. Sage sounds interesting.

Unfortunately, I have had no luck with my body chemistry and Demeter.

I like Demeter but it hates me, usually. This Lalique on the other hand…WANT, WANT, WANT! The beuatiful bottle, the enticing notes…hope I can find this somewhere!

What I like about lalique scents and ads is that they seem to carry a classical approach with a modern execution. They don’t do crazy bottles. neither shocking fragrances or advertisements that want to turn up the sexual animal that you may have.
I loved this ad, the model is incredible beautiful and ties up perfectly with the floral for grown ups; can’t wait to try it.

I agree, simple, classic, and of course it’s Lalique, just look at unique and yet classic bottle!
OHHH, I hope it isn’t a cloying type of jasmine, I have been looking for a nice muguet/jasmine scent. This sounds very romantic, like something a bride might wear. Hope The Crown will have a decant soon!
Not very erridite but with my romantic little heart
