A promo (maybe more like a "behind the scenes of the photo shoot"?) for Peace, Love & Juicy Couture.
Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2010, part 17
More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.
From Tom Ford, the Black Orchid Limited Edition Collection, with a Black Orchid lipstick, Black Orchid nail polish and Black Orchid solid perfume. Available this month at Saks and Neiman Marcus in the US, Harvey Nichols in the UK…
Miss Pucci, Peace Love & Juicy Couture, Kate Spade Twirl ~ brief perfume reviews
It was a long and eventful summer, and I have fallen terribly behind on reviews. In the interest of saving time and catching up and all that, here are brief reviews on three scents that are nice enough but that did not interest me enough to write longer reviews anyway. How’s that for an enticing lead in?
Miss Pucci by Pucci
A light sparkling floral musk from the folks at Pucci. It is pretty, clean, safe, and geared towards a young audience (that is, an audience that likes their florals pretty, clean and safe). Like its predecessor, Vivara, it lacks the verve and punch of the fashion line, but hey, that’s true of nearly every designer perfume ever made…
Juicy Couture Peace, Love & Juicy Couture ~ new perfume
Coming soon from Juicy Couture, Peace, Love & Juicy Couture, the line’s fourth fragrance for women:
The world’s juiciest message is all about peace and love. And couture, of course! Our eternal quest for joy…
Couture Couture by Juicy Couture, Ed Hardy Hearts & Daggers Women, Christian Audigier for Women ~ brief fragrance reviews

In any case, in the interest of saving you the trouble of reading, I’ll tell you today’s theme up front — “Recent Releases: Don’t Try Them On My Account”.
Couture Couture by Juicy Couture
Juicy Couture has done very nicely for themselves with their fragrance line, and the first two entries for women were both well-executed examples of their respective genres — the original Juicy Couture being a nearly perfect representation of a bright perky mainstream fruity floral, and Viva La Juicy of a young-ish mainstream candied floral gourmand. Neither of those are things I care for terribly, mind you, but I can see the attraction.
Couture Couture is another matter. I originally tried it next to the two earlier Juicy fragrances, and my initial reaction was that I didn’t love any of the three, but that Juicy Couture and Viva La Juicy at least smelled like perfume, whereas Couture Couture, whilst most definitely possessing a smell, did not…
