Estee Lauder Modern Muse Eau de Rouge ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 30 December 2015 10 Comments

Estée Lauder Modern Muse Eau de Rouge

Estée Lauder will launch Modern Muse Eau de Rouge, a new flanker to 2013's Modern Muse fragrance for women. Modern Muse Eau de Rouge follows Modern Muse Chic and Modern Muse Le Rouge.

Modern Muse Eau de Rouge is intended as a "more modern, youthful twist" on Modern Muse. Notes include rose, vanilla and pink pepper.

Estée Lauder Modern Muse Eau de Rouge will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. Look for it in January.

Update: additional notes for the floral rose fragrance include green notes, cassis buds, raspberry, jasmine, magnolia, vetiver, clearwood and ambrette.

I am a bit cranky today, so please bear with me..

But WTH! Cut it out with the flankers already!

I guess I just don´t “get” the theory on flankers or how much money they must be making on them… cause back in my days (Hey kids, get off my lawn! LOL) this was called DILUTING a brand.

So many launches every year also cannot be ecologically sustainable. I am all for packaging and nice bottles, but this current output of crap is just ridiculous.

    OK end of rant.
    Have a happy new year y’all :-D

This one seems particularly egregious since they just did “Le Rouge”, and they seem to have similar notes. I don’t see how consumers, even consumers who are doing their best to pay attention (e.g., me) are supposed to keep all this stuff straight.

I’ll have to stop by Belk and sniff this one…..I love MM and MM Le Rouge. Don’t like the MM Chic though.

Gotta agree with kaos.geo though….the number of flankers is just amazing! Job security for the noses, I guess! :)

You’ll have to let us know how this one differs from Le Rouge!

I’ll wager there won’t be enough difference for a purchase! But if they want to give me a sample or two, I’ll happily add to the Roulette basket! :)

I won a bottle of Very Estee on Ebay last week….looking forward to getting it. I typically LOVE Estee Lauder. I use their “Time Zone” skincare line to scare away wrinkles and such…

2016 Resolution: STOP BUYING for quite a while, and enjoy the sample collection I’ve built!

I love EL skin care products as well. Been using it for 20 plus years. Hydrationist is my favorite moisturizer.

Now, I love Estee Lauder, but goodness! It seems that Le Rouge was just released yesterday. Isn’t Kendall Jenner the face behind Le Rouge? Talk about “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”, now I’m “Keeping Up With Estee Lauder”! Lol!
I wonder how much this differs with Le Rouge. I thought Le Rouge was okay, nowhere near FB worthy to me. I will stick with the original. I just wish that companies would concentrate on quality, not quantity. But, its all about business and the mighty dollar.

Estee has lost me as a fan since hiring Kendall Jenner! Their old stuff I might but.. But anything current…. Never!
