Estee Lauder Glimmer ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 17 July 2026 15 Comments

Estée Lauder will launch Glimmer, a new gourmand amber floral fragrance for women.

An amber floral eau de parfum perfume with a gourmand twist

Notes of Macaron Rose Accord, Shimmering Patchouli, and Amber Embrace Accord—reimagined through modern craft into a luminous, radiant scent

***

FIRST 10 SECONDS: Bright, sparkling, and mouthwatering Fruity-rosy raspberry, a fresh lift of mandarin, and a soft orange flower glow

AS IT DEVELOPS ON THE SKIN: Warmer and more enveloping Macaron Rose Accord comes forward with its gourmand impression, wrapped in the radiant depth of Amber Embrace Accord and Shimmering Patchouli, with a smooth, skin-warmed softness

WELL INTO THE WEAR: The fragrance settles into a lingering, addictive trail, a glowing blend of Amber, Patchouli, Woods, and Tonka Bean notes Still warmed by a whisper of sweetness that stays close and feels unforgettable

***

A fragrance meant not just to be worn, but to be felt, remembered, and shared

When what makes one glimmer is found, it lights up everyone around

Additional notes include vanilla, cashmeran, sandalwood and cedar.

Estée Lauder Glimmer will be available in 10, 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I love EL but her modern creations are more misses than hits so no high expectations. But I’d still test it though!

I’m wondering what macaron rose accord is?

I can’t remember the last EL pillar…they did Modern Muse but that was a long time ago, and I think before that Sensuous? I did like Sensuous.

      Maybe I am forgetting one.

I think you’re right, the last pillar was Modern Muse (and many failed flankers).
We can’t forget Bronze Goddess! She’s niiice.

Oh I have not forgotten BG! But that was not originally meant as a pillar…sure did turn out to be one though.

I love Bronze Goddess, I’ll spritz a little for bedtime. I’m pretty much a vampire in the summer but it sure scratches that beachy-vibe itch that I get in summertime.

Amber Embrace Accord = Amber Chokehold Accord.

I don’t hate it but it’s not fantastic, and I still think Sensuous would have been a bigger seller if they’d packaged it better.

ps there is something about the circles lining up if you have a row of them, but that seems pointless as a selling point
