Bleu & Guilty are doing really well this year.

Does this officially make Bleu the most overrated perfume of the 21st century, so far?

There will be plenty of other over-rated perfumes to look forward to. Still lots of time left!

Not sure about that, but it’s pretty comical.

I guess ‘Chanel Bleh’ doesn’t have quite the same ring. When I sniffed this last fall, I actually yawned. Seemed so incredibly bland and non-descript. But nice bottle though. Too bad we can’t wear the bottle.

Balenciaga Paris is a deserved win IMO. What a lovely scent it is. My favorite mainstream fragrance of the year.

I agree, too! I still love it. And I thought most of the Six Scents Series Three was really interesting.

It’s pathetic BLEU received this award. There are many other superior releases in 2010. Fifi is not an true award for best perfume but a marketing ploy, and should be renamed the Fifi “Best Sellers”.

It is true, they tend to go to middle of the road scents. That said, the Fragrance Foundation’s picks are better than the consumer picks, IMHO.

You usually get proud when a perfume that you own wins an important prize, but in this case I get ashamed when a nullity like Bleu receives an award like this.
