Wow, first glance at that bottle, I thought that it was:

    Is it just me?

      A win win situation…

It is, but nobody noticed when “Wood” wasn’t in the fragrance name — they introduced this bottle earlier this year:

Me too! I think it harkens well for winning over us picky perfumistas :)

I thought the very same when first glanced at it. :) and the woman’s version sounds much better.

Nope-I’m right there with ya, in fact I got all excited thinking it was a new CdG scent…..

That actually sounds almost perfect. Would only a niche brand release a fragrance with the same notes so I could feel more excited.

There are already lots of niche scents with those notes though, I’d think.

I think the note I’m most excited to see is the white pepper. Just wore Poivre Piquant the other day and was pleasantly surprised.

I will have to go back and sniff this. The notes sound more to my taste than the “women’s” version. Whoever decided that woods and vetiver are “masculine”?

I agree, I think the men’s version sounds much more appealing than the women’s. I will have to give this a sniff and see if it’s not too masculine for me.

Someone gave me the (womens’) Twilight Woods hand soap and lotion as a gift, and, while seemingly pleasant at first, becomes quickly cloying and nausea-inducing, so much so, in fact, my boyfriend refuses the soap!

So, hopefully the mens’, like you said, is much more tolerable!

I was gifted a BBW men’s scent once. I don’t know if it was called body spray or what, but it was almost as large as a bottle of Windex. It did not smell great, though I used it as a room spray a few times before “accidentally” leaving it in a public washroom at work.

I love the air freshener. I use it in my car and my room. Love creamy nutmeg as well but it’s seasonal now, or so I was told. I’ll try this and see how it smells.

Just smelled the TW mens body wash and WOW! Love it! Put some on the back of my hand and I can’t stop smelling it.
I wish the women’s fragrance sounded like it would be something I’d wear but it doesn’t. I don’t know about anyone else but I’ve been hiking in the woods at twilight and I’ve never yet smelled coconut, apricot or most of the other fragrances listed as notes in the womens version…Give me something with ceder and musk and some floral notes that you might find in the woods such as wild rose or violet or…anything that you might actually find in the woods.
Not to sweet and not fruity. Something sexy. spicy and mysterious with just enough floral to make it feminine but not cloying.

I’ve had a small body spray of the women’s version for some time, and just bought another one. I like it some days, but haven’t bought any of the other products. :) I picked up the men’s version today because I like to mix a men’s cologne in the Winter and I love it. It’s a good one! I did the same thing as Danu and put it on the back of my hand… I was always going back after 15-20 minutes to smell it again. Every time it smelled different but good. I like the top, mid, and base notes. When I saw pepper in the notes I assumed it would dominate the scent, but it doesn’t.
