Amouage will launch Decision and Existence, the final two fragrances in the Odyssey Collection (originally introduced in 2020 as the Renaissance collection), this week. (See: Meander, Ashore, Crimson Rocks, Enclave, Boundless, Material, Lineage, Search, Guidance and Purpose.) Decision and Existence were both developed by perfumer Quentin Bisch and feature frankincense.
Decision ~ "Decision, a Perfume born of transformation and resilience. // Decision, a woody, vertical Perfume, captures the scent of serenity and the depth of anchored perception. Frankincense, the backbone of the two creations in the final chapter of The Odyssey Collection, is an ingredient that connects the living and the divine in both perfumes. Frankincense and Juniper embody the striking power of lightning - a vibrant, aromatic, and green spark. The fossilised essence of wood is portrayed through Cedarwood, while the rebirth is achieved with the addition of Vanilla. With its soft sweetness, Vanilla evokes the lingering smoke released from the tree’s bark. Through its woody verticality, Decision becomes a symbol of embracing uncertainty, allowing one to stand tall and make the right choices." Additional notes include bergamot and myrhh.
Existence ~ "Existence, a fragrance that captures the fleeting beauty of standing on the edge of the infinite. // Existence with a top note of Lilly [sic] of the Valley, a white, ethereal floral brings the fragile, delicate aspect to the Perfume. A realistic accord that creates a link between reality and imagination. At the heart of the Perfume, White Musk enhances the ethereal aspect and adds a patina, soft, yet powerfully diffusive that brings texture, a blurry idea of Existence. At the base, balsams, reminiscent to the notion of Existing, remaining, the addiction to life." Additional notes include aldehydes, rose and benzoin.
Amouage Decision and Existence will be available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Take my money đź’°
Ha ha, mine too! I’m particularly curious about how Amouage will use lily of the valley in that second scent.
Ha…I seem to be the only one immune to Amouage anymore! Neither of these sound tempting to me other than Quentin Bisch.
Not a fan of Amouage. Never really got the hype.
I by contrast thinks Amouage has become very boring and ridiculously overpriced at that. The Odyssey/Renaissance Collection in particular is very bad imo (Purpose springs to mind as one of the worst, almost repellent). No enthusiasm left for this brand.
Aha, see my comment above.
I wish I’d bought the original version of Ubar when I could, and ditto on Jubilation XV. But there so many I was meh about that I stopped trying them.
On the other hand, by now I’ve mostly stopped trying new perfumes, so there’s that…
