Bvlgari Aqva Atlantique ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 26 December 2016 9 Comments

Bvlgari Aqva Atlantique

Bvlgari will launch Aqva Atlantique, a new fragrance for men. Aqva Atlantique is a flanker to 2005's Aqva Pour Homme, and follows 2014's Aqva Amara.

Aqua continues its epic journey by exploring the most powerful ocean in the world, the Atlantic Ocean. Aqua Atlantique evokes the natural freshness of a sea breeze and clear life-giving waters, which are fascinatingly vast and embody conquest and achievement. The fragrance exudes extraordinary freshness to convey the ocean's energy mirrored by an explosion of citrus notes providing vibrant and sparkling notes directly from succulent fruit.

Bvlgari Aqva Atlantique is available now at Macy's, $88 for 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

The original was quite nice. The flankers, not so much. Which is why I’m hoping for a surprise. HA!

Loved the original. Looking forward to trying this one and wondering if there’ll be a Pacifique next (?).

Giving this a full wearing now. Working a 12 hour shift tonight then hitting the gym early. This will also be my post workout sotd. Right now I like it. Retains some of the original which I love. Also has a hint of ambroxyn a la Dior Sauvage…only not as cloying. Have received two compliments already. I will post again after my full wearing.

Finished a second wearing and this is growing on me. Several compliments and everybody I asked liked it. They said it was different from my regular scents which is true. The ambroxyn in Sausage gets screechy on me as time goes on. Here it works well with the briny seaweed and water accord. In Dylan Blue and BDC the ambroxyn is so faint. This projects nicely and stays clean and crisp. 4.5/5. Full bottle worthy.

    Sauvage, not sausage…spellchecker strikes again.
