DKNY Be Delicious Sparkling Apple collection ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 29 September 2014 5 Comments

DKNY Be Delicious Sparkling Apple collection

Donna Karan has launched DKNY Be Delicious Sparkling Apple collection, a new trio of limited edition flankers to 2004's Be Delicious. Previous trios in this series include Be Delicious City Blossom, Sweet Delicious and Delicious Candy Apples.

Inspired by the glitz and glamour of brilliant festivities, DKNY introduces a new limited edition fragrance collection all wrapped up in sparkle inspired bottles and cartons.

DKNY Golden Delicious Sparkling Apple (gold) ~ "DKNY Golden Delicious Sparkling is a playful yet sensual scent. Sparkling Grapefruit notes mixed with juicy Cassis and accented with spicy Ginger Root create a crisp and playful introduction. At the heart of the fragrance, a lush and joyful combination of Golden Delicious Apple and delicate Muguet, is accented with colorful brushstrokes of Plum. Underneath, a blend of smooth Sandalwood, warm Amber and enveloping Musk wraps the skin in an everlasting caress."

DKNY Be Delicious Sparkling Apple (green) ~ (possibly the same as the 2012 fragrance of the same name). "Bigger, bolder, and fresher… Be Delicious Sparkling Apple is a mouthwatering explosion of crisp apples and brilliant, fresh florals… Indulge yourself in a sparkling tale of bright green apples and juicy redcurrant, followed by a splash of vibrant watermelon. Beneath the surface lies a shimmering floral heart of contrasting frozen rose drops and rich violet leaves…white muguet and exotic tiare flower creates a voluptuous feminine bouquet. Magnolia wood, cool sandalwood, and smooth amber pearls creates a warm, soft backdrop against the floral heart, further enhancing the crisp, fruity cocktail."

DKNY Fresh Blossom Sparkling Apple (pink) ~ "...a festive blend that opens with an exciting and sparkling neroli agreement, infused with lush notes of crisp apple, tangerine and pear. Beautiful gardenia petals are harmoniously blended with delicate muguet and pittosporum for a wonderful experience. The background creates an aura of mystery and irresistible temptation with warm white wood wrapped in sensual musk and hypnotic ambrette seeds that provides a stimulating effect on the senses."

The DKNY Be Delicious Sparkling Apple collection fragrances are available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, and can be found now at The Fragrance Shop in the UK, £36.50 each.

I actually really love all of the DKNY Apple Scents, so I am excited to try these. I am already picturing how pretty they would look on my dresser

DKNY has gotten a lot of mileage out of that bottle.

They really have, but more to the point I think they haven’t found anything to replace them. Don’t think the “Pure Drop” series took off, and have my own doubts about MYNY.
