Intimately Beckham Night For Men & Women ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 17 August 2007 8 Comments

Intimately Beckham Night fragrance adDavid and Victoria Beckham will launch a new fragrance duo, Intimately Beckham Night, next month in the UK (the original Intimately Beckham scents are just recently launched in the US). Expect "the sexiest offer yet from the celebrity couple" and "an even raunchier advertising campaign" (see ad at right, which actually looks a bit tame to me in comparison to the last).

Intimately Beckham Night for men combines spicy and citrus notes with a masculine floral heart and a warm base of amber, patchouli, vetiver and tonka bean. The women’s scent meanwhile features top notes of tangerine, bergamot and cinnamon, a white floral heart of lily, tuberose and orange blossom and a base of sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla, tonka bean and myrrh.

Intimately Beckham Night For Men & Intimately Beckham Night for Women will be available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette. (quotes via cosmeticsint.co.uk, image via hollyscoop)

Other recent releases from the Beckhams: Intense Instinct.

Update: Intimately Beckham Night for Men was created by perfumer Sylvie Fischer Desuzinge, and additional notes include bergamot, mandarin, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, coffee, jasmine and violet. Intimately Beckham Night for Women was developed by perfumer Jean Pierre Béthouart, and additional notes include carnation. (via cosmoty.de)

okay, is it just me or do those notes actually sound good? i know it's crazy to think a celeb scent may actually have a personality, but if anything could, it could be these.

Reposted for mrgregee (those very long links stretched the page, sorry!)
For women it seems pretty norm to buy celebrity indorsed perfume now days. So as a man I was reluctant to smell the ‘David Beckham intimately night’ fragrance, I couldn’t quite see myself saying to people “yeah I’m wearing David Beckham” with out feeling slightly gay lol. However when I was out shopping for xmas presents I had a quick sniff just so I could diss it, but instead I found myself likeing it and sure I had smelt something similar before. So when I got home I smelt all my other fragrances when I came across my ‘Burberry Brit for Men’. Bingo David Beckham Intimately Night’ smells like my favourite fragrance. Still intrigued buy the similarities I looked up the bassnotes, follow the links to see for yourselves. Ok so its only the top notes but still.

Well after all that I went ahead and brought myself a bottle but I’m slightly embarrassed and ashamed to tell people I’m wearing David Beckham.

Then I suppose you could just tell people you're wearing Brit for Men, right? I still haven't smelled either of the Intimately Night scents myself.

Nice! Where did you find it, or did you buy it unsniffed? I still haven’t seen testers in the US although admittedly have not looked that hard.
