I adore benzoin in a perfume as well. Despite the warmer weather, I’m exploring perfumes with oud and benzoin lately.

I’m in agreement with you there. For me, no Opium flanker will ever improve on the original 1977 Opium – I had a Harrods gift voucher given to me for Christmas that year from my first oil-related employer (a US company) that had opened an office in Aberdeen, Scotland. I visited my parents in Surrey for Christmas, headed to Harrods with my GBP 25.00 gift voucher, & that was exactly how much the bottle of Opium cost!
