Happy Toontown Friday! Our community project for today: scent a favorite cartoon character. Thanks go to Jalapeno for the idea.
What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.
I'm in more old school French: Dior Eau Sauvage for the Pink Panther, who I adored as a child, still adore now, and can hardly separate from the fantastic theme music by Henry Mancini. (The Sauvage name presumably fits for a panther, even if this one is more silly than wild, and the smell is just right for the "60s cool" theme music.)
Reminder: 4/18 is the World Heritage Day / International Day for Monuments and Sites. [This is sponsored by the International Council on Monuments and Sites, an NGO dedicated to the conservation, protection, use and enhancement of the world's cultural heritage.] Pick a place you've visited, or would like to visit, that has "intangible cultural heritage", tell us about it, and wear a fragrance you think fits for whatever reason.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2025, where I'll try (but usually fail) to have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.
Bonus watch: the Pink Panther in The Pink Pill, 1968. About 6 minutes although you might have to sit through an ad first.
HA, am twins with Robin, but the character I’m scenting in Eau Sauvage is Taz the Tasmanian Devil. He’s smelling a bit more refined and elegant than usual!
It occurred to me that an appropriate scent for Elmer Fudd would be Penhaligon’s The Tragedy of Lord George, because of the bonkers antlers cap.
Excellent, hey twin!
I woke up craving for a honey scent, so I am wearing Zoologist Bee for Winnie-the-Pooh.
Cold, rainy day still in the 40s. There is a beautiful explosion of flowers outside. I wish I could take a short walk to enjoy it, but the rainy weather this weekend will keep me inside to prevent another fall. I will instead watch TV and do very light cooking. I’m thinking about lentil and chicken soups. Let’s see!
Happy Friday! 🍯
Your scent is perfect for the CP.
Sorry, Galbanumgal! I don’t know why my comment ended up here.
Elmer Fudd in Penhaligon’s! 🤣🤣
Malle’s POAL
The diva Jessica Rabbit
Very Jessica leaning against a piano, whispering secrets…
It’s a perfect pairing- Seduction/danger
Loving the CP this week!
Now back to my good sad reads!
Very nicely done, I like it!
I am reading a pile of sad books all at once and was just thinking last night that maybe I need to find a few cheerful books for my next group 🙂
Sometimes I just, I don’t know …find an odd comfort in the ache while reading a good sad book. It reaches a quiet corner in my heart that sometimes I don’t always acknowledge.
I hope you find a cheerful stack if that is your mood!
Great one LTSG.
I’m back to Avatar: The Last Airbender, and today I’m scenting the protagonist, Aang.
My first thought was Tam Dao – it pairs well with his spirituality.
But then I decided to be more literal and chose Un Air de Samsara:
1. He’s an air nomad
2. Samsara represents the cycle of reincarnation, which really fits the Avatar cycle.
I am probably the only person who has never seen Avatar (any of them) but I assuming you’ve done a perfect pairing 🙂
Don’t watch the movie. Give the original animated series a try if you are curious.
my kids are obsessed with the cartoon series!
I’ve also not seen the movies. My kid has seen the animated series, though, I think.
You’re not the only one. I haven’t seen any Avatar movies.
Ditto.
I’ve seen it and found it boring and disappointing.
The movie or the cartoon series?
The first movie.
I am only aware of one, Shyamalan’s. I have not watched it properly but I’ve seen enough footage from reactions. It did look boring and disappointing. I love the cartoon series though.
Both of those perfumes are wonderful choices.
I woke up craving for a honey scent, so I am wearing Zoologist Bee for Winnie-the-Pooh.

Happy Friday! 🍯
I hope you get good walking weather next week.
Bee is a great match!
The weather looks more promising for next week. At least it is not going to be raining much.
Love Bee. Smart match for both the Cp and the cool weather.
Thank you, Yvree!
Awesome pairing! Bee is such an opulent fragrance.
Lentil soup is one of my favorites; it’s in heavy rotation here. Chicken soup is a wondrous thing! Enjoy.
Thank you, Gail
Your scent is perfect for the CP!
😊
I would gladly take your rainy weather and give you a week of sun!
So I’m in Hermes Kelly Caleche, because I had a super strong urge to wear it today. No idea why. I really loved some of the ads for this scent-I remember one woman wearing perfect Hermes leather pants, trailing a whip, and did I ever want to be the person who looked so great in leather pants lol. Marketing really works on me, I think. Maybe I’m Catwoman in leather pants and a whip? I’m going to enjoy all the other posts-people here are so creative.
One day I will get on the Hermes wagon. I did own Twilly but I think I sent it off in a swap or gave it away to a friend. I should go watch these ads you mention…
I would say Catwoman is a great fit.
LTSG, I hope you get on the Hermes wagon, there are so many to love! Gentian Blanche, any of the Eau series, Bel Ami and Amazone (both vintage), Jour d Hermes (golden fruity/floral).
What is your favorite or the most feminine for spring ?
I’d say, the most floral and fem me, probably Jour d’ Hermes. It’s one that garners many compliments from strangers and the hubby… 🙂
Wearing Iris Silver Mist for the carroty iris. Immediately thought of this one because of Bugs Bunny.
Such a perfect fragrance for the inimitable Bugs and you smell fabulous!
Hello and tgif!
My favourite cartoon is Cinderella. I am matching it with Shalimar Parfum Initial. The glass bottle is a little like her glass slippers and the scent because while it’s classic, it is still youthful and pretty, fit for a young maiden at a ball for the night of her life.
Nice! Cinderella appreciates not having to wear Good Girl 😉
I am wearing Bal a Versailles for the amorous French skunk Pepe LePew. I have a PT appointment this morning and then the grocery store…so I am spraying lightly.
Very nice!!
I’m wearing Dzing! today for the one and only Wile E. Coyote. I picture him suspended in the air, having accidentally ran off a cliff but able to turn and make eye contact with us before the inevitable Dzing!….then we see him in the next frame with his fur a mess and a bandage around his poor head before he’s back to no good. Talk about resilience!
Fantastic pairing! I love it!
Such a fun choice!
ZOMG! Such a great pick! I laughed when I read it.
After being reminded of The Incredibles yesterday (definitely a favorite cartoon here, and I love all of the Incredible characters), I chose Feu Secret for Jack-Jack and his hidden ability to turn into a whirling fireball.
Cartoon twins, a day off! I did La Curie Incendo yesterday for Jack Jack. (Just never had time to post…)
That’s a beautiful fragrance!
No imagination today, so I’ll do Pink Panther but with Miss Balmain for “60s cool”. Wasn’t there a lady Panther, too? 😆
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfPODQDmsX8
So, perfect!
LOL of course!
Wow, good recall!
https://youtu.be/D89GXGKD2I8?feature=shared
I’m matching Huckleberry Hound with Orange Sanguine for his Clementine song.
My daughter had a medication review the other day and she has lost 30lbs in the past year. We have been slowly taking her off medication and it’s really shown to be making a positive difference.
I am glad things are going well for your daughter!
Very glad to hear about that!
Such good news about your daughter.
Hooray! Good news is always good!
Good news for your daughter!
That’s great news about your daughter! And excellent job on the CP 😉
Awesome news about your daughter!
I remember watching a lot of Huckleberry Hound cartoons on summer vacation trips. Especially if we ended up at Little America.
Lillyjo, such very happy news for a Friday! So happy your daughter is doing better! Well done there you Super Mom !
And I don’t recognize many fragrances , but I recognize yours today and smell wonderful!
I’m glad things are going well with your daughter!
Robin, you’re more creative than I am. I thought about Pink Panther because I loved that cartoon, but couldn’t come up with anything creative. (Also thought of Elmer Fudd, something of a cult character in my small friend group in high school, and was thinking Leather Jardin maybe for him, but wasn’t in the mood.)
I’m in Smell Bent The Yard Next Door today, for Shaun the Sheep. It’s sunny here and I met up with an old friend from Toronto for drinks yesterday, who reminded me that the West Coast is so blissfully spring-like compared to the East, so I’m feeling springy today.
Oh but yours is perfect too! I love everything related to Wallace & Gromit.
I suppose Shaun, Wallace, and Gromit are not strictly cartoons, now that I think about it, but animation is animation, I say. 🙂
It is close enough.
My favorite character was Mighty Mouse. Wearing Boucheron pour femme—a tiny dab goes a long way!
Ha, nice call.
I liked Mighty Mouse too.
I’m in vintage Shiseido Koto pure parfum for the fourth day in a row. Because on day one I kept having those “Wow what smells so good? oh, it’s me!” moments.
Doing a retrofit for the CP. Apparently there is an anime series (based on a manga) Kono Oto Tomare which is about a high school koto club. Who knew? Plenty of people no doubt, perhaps one of you, but not I!
I’ll pick Houzuki Satowa as the character match since she is described as the koto prodigy : )
https://myanimelist.net/anime/38080/Kono_Oto_Tomare
and now I must return to work…
My kid probably knows. 🙂
In Agent Provocateur Miss AP for Daphne from Scooby Doo. It took me awhile to get to this one. I figured she would wear a designer type scent and I think the Ylang note fits her.
What is Miss AP like compared to the original?
Very different to me. Ms Ap opens with Ylang and is more “ambery” versus the dusty rose chypree.
That sounds pretty darn good! Thanks!
Bendelirious! Betty Boop has quite a small vocabulary, but I am sure one of the things she says is: Wheeee!
Ha, I am sure that’s right.
I get to watch insane amount of cartoons because I have a small child who’s into Bluey, Pixar Cars and assorted YouTube series. He’s currently on a Numberblocks streak and I actually quite like the four times table short where Four gets funky on the dance floor: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8pXlMXbLBo&pp=0gcJCdgAo7VqN5tD
so I am wearing a very disco friendly and funky perfume, Hiram Green Tryst. It was a blind buy for me because it was supposed to be a reissue of sorts for Dilettante which I absolutely loved to bits. It’s not the exact same perfume and I would have preferred to have the original one back, but it’s a nice, heady, intense, funky and carnal orange blossom perfume.
I remember those days, although the shows are different now! Very glad to be done with it.
I am wearing Clinique Happy because it was in my suitcase though I am sad to report it is a very unhappy day. We are not going to make the trip to see the grandkids and will turn around tomorrow. I think we decided to drive too soon after my husband’s back surgery or he has some other back issue going on. He is just having too much pain for us to continue so will be back home in a few days😥
Oh Kris I am sorry! I hope your Husband recovers fully soon.
Thanks! We just need to get him back to the orthopedic doctor to see if more is going on or if he just did too much sitting.
Oh no, Kris. Have a safe trip home.
Thanks Gail. Hoping it will be somewhat uneventful.
I’m sorry to hear about this turn of events! Have a safe drive home, and I hope that your husband will be well enough soon to take the trip.
Thanks my friend.
I’m sorry that you can’t make the trip after all.
We will at some point down the road. Life takes turns at times.
Sorry to hear that, Kris. Have a safe trip home and I hope your husband recovers soon!
Thank you. We will drive carefully.
So sorry he’s in pain and how disappointing.
We probably should have given him a longer recovery time, but it may have just been from sitting too long.
I am so sorry. Hopefully the journey back will be as easy as possible and your husband recovers soon.
I think if I do more of the driving it may go better. Thanks.
I hope your husband feels better soon.
Thank you pl67. I do too.
Oh no … and you were so looking forward to it. I hope whatever back issues ail him will resolve quickly!
Thanks my friend.
I am so sorry to read this, Kris. I know how much you were looking forward to the trip and seeing your grandkids. Safe travels home and fingers crossed for another trip, sooner than later😘
Thank you dear! We will get back down there.
I am so sorry, how disappointing! Keep those grandkids in your ❤️ for now, get home safely, and plan for another time. It’ll be that much sweeter then. 🤗
Thank you so much for the nice thoughts Laila.
Ach! That sucks! I know you were looking forward to this trip so much. Hope that your husband feels better soon.
Get home safe.
PS. You might have an Enabler Pin coming in the future.
Oh, goody. What are you buying?
Something from Guerlain. 😉
Kris, I’m v v sorry to hear you won’t be visiting your grandkids as I know how much you were looking forward to it. Praying that Mr K’s back is only suffering from too much sitting in the car rather than anything more serious!
You smell marvelous if ironic, and I know this scent well! Hoping you’ll fully embody Happy soon when you get the all clear from the doctor!
Thanks. We may have just gone on a trip too soon. He is 70 years old. Now, he caught my cold so I feel doubly sorry for him.
Drat. Adding to all the sympathies…hope you guys get home without further problems.
I second Robin! A night in your beloved home (with a new bathroom, right?) should make everyone feel better. And hope those colds are the shortest of short!
Oh gosh, I third Robin and LesLiesse and am sorry for all the pain and discomfort for your husband. I hope rest is all that’s needed.
I am sorry! Your grandkids must be heartbroken
Oh Kris, I am sorry about that turn of events. And now your poor husband has a cold besides, I’ll bet every cough and sneeze is extra painful. Hopefully he will be on the mend sooner than later and you can go see the grandkids. Hang in there my friend!
Happy Friday! Trying Courrèges Hyper Musc today and I love it! Notes are below. I’m getting a beautiful blend of mint, musk, vanilla and patchouli…heavenly to nose. 😇
I have never really understood the gambling compulsion but my sampling obsession is one and the same I’ve realized. I keep trying new fragrances like a well-trained lab rat pulling the lever b/c I never know when the pellet is going to drop and I am going to love one. I believe variable ratio schedules of reinforcement are the toughest to break and I concur. 😆🐀
And I have not acted on the Lush Hello Kitty perfume or YSL Muse yet but the day is young!
Peppermint essence, Musk, Vanilla
Hyper Musc sounds really good, and the bottle is groovy!
At least you don’t stake the house, right?
I’m in Insolence edt, paired that with Betty Boop.
Quite perfect.
“Yeah. You still got it.”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=nWIUEdW3rqQ
Good one!
Oh, that’s a good one. She certainly was!
Nailed it!
Having no kids or grandkids or nieces nephews, etc., I’m lamentably ignorant about cartoon characters. However, I did manage to draw a connection between my SOTD, Hilde Soliani’s Orgasmo, with its almond-vanilla blast, and Cookie Monster, who’s been around long enough for me to know about. If you’ve ever had those old Dutch windmill cookies you’ll get the idea, and I feel quite sure that CM would go for them big time. I think they generally do add spices, though, like cinnamon, ginger, etc., which actually might be fun to layer on top of the original HS formula for Orgasmo! I must try that one day.
That sounds like a really nice perfume and a good match.
Cookie Monster is the greatest! I spend more time in my Cookie Monster cozy pants than anything else🍪And those windmill cookies are delicious😋
I just caught up with posts last nite and wanted to offer my condolences on the loss of your beloved Meow Kitty. 🤗. But Meow Kitty will always live on in your heart and, hopefully, when the pain subsides a little, fond memories will make you smile.
Thank you so much. She was quite a quirky little being and many memories of her make me laugh, so they do help offset the sadder memories of her last days.
I haven’t thought about those windmill cookies in forever!
I’m in Rauque for its mushroom note, for the mushroom houses in the Smurfs. I loved the Smurfs in the 80s and was endlessly fascinated by their village with all the mushroom houses. Happy Friday, all!
Thats a good one! I didn’t realize it had a mushroom note. Will need to revisit. Love the smurfs!
That’s a great one!
Rauque is perfume perfection!
My mother loathed cartoons with a passion so I didn’t grow up watching tv cartoons ( but tv in NZ only had one channel which ran from 2pm to 11pm for a long while). We were allowed to read the Scottish comic Dandy ( with Minnie the Minx ), Beano ( Gnasher the dog – a Tripe Hound), and Whizzer and Chips , which like all comics/ magazines took three – six months to arrive by boat from Britain. I liked Gnasher. He belonged to Dennis the Meance ( very different from the American Dennis) and they and the Bash Street Kids and Bash Street Dogs were pretty unruly. Gnasher never barked, only gnashed. The only perfume I think he would even lower himself to sniff without utter scorn would be L’eau de Dagg, the one based on sheep daggs which smells of wool crutchings s and daggs. Maybe I’ll flag that and scent the wonderful recent animated cat/ eco—movie Flow instead, with the green, Forest -pine perfume Fresh As ( Lush).

One of NZ’s most famous cartoons, Goodnight Kiwi, played every night in the 1980s and 1990s to signal the closing of tv transmission ( tv closed down for the night as we didn’t have 24 hour service).
I love how it puts out the milk bottle before bed. It’s just a minute long.
How sweet.
This reminds me of Unser Sandmännchen (Our Sandman), which played (I think still plays?) every night on German TV when the little kids should start thinking of going to bed. The part with the title character is stop-motion animation, but often a cartoon is shown in the middle of the show. There’s something so sweet and innocent about the Sandmännchen; it’s one of my favourite parts of German culture. (That, and a strong belief that children should sleep 10 hours a night. 🙂 )
I remember it from when I lived in Germany. It was very sweet
That was adorable! Much nicer than the TV sign-off I remember here in the US.
Still no cartoon matches, but having fun reading about all the pairings.
My SOTD is the lovely Fleur des Comores by MPG. Early on in my perfume career I was brave enough to buy unsniffed a lot. Got a bunch of partial bottles of MPG’s as well. This one is probably my favourite.
Hope everyone has a good weekend!
I hope you have a lovely weekend!
Going back to the Disney films of my childhood and for the wicked queen of Snow White who has a name apparently, Grimhilde scented with BPAL trick or treat, it had to be a bpal scent. Tonight I’m in FM Noir épices, so special, nothing quite like it.
Noir épices is definitely special and you smell wonderful!
I didn’t know The Evil Queen had a name!
Neil Gaiman had a highly disturbing take on Snow White in an anthology published around Y2K. It was High Octane Nightmare Fuel.
Haven’t been able to forget that story.
I didn’t know she had a name either
I am in AA Ginger Piccante. I would use it to scent young Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, when she’s at her happiest, in the woods singing “Once upon a dream” 💞
Nice 🙂
SOTD = Dior Eau Sauvage Elixir
I was lazy and decided to copy Robin!
https://www.instagram.com/p/DIUXa_UPIgf/?igsh=c2Z1NW44Yzc0a2Y1
Done and dusted! I am referring to my inquiry on my NJ Transit refund (6-8 weeks? More like 8 months!) and a submission to request a conference on my NY State overpayment reimbursement, just under the wire by 6 weeks, coincidence or not!
I went to the post office to arrange for certified mail because that seems to be the way to get proof of mail out / receipt. Let’s see if the cost turns into💰😂.
Egads. It seemed like your NJT refund saga would never end! But until you get your check in hand, it still isn’t over, is it?
I’m thinking it may be gone with the wind but I can only try one more time!
Welcome to the club 🙂
Thanks!
I usually check out the cp‘s in advance because, for me, planning is half the fun. But I had absolutely no idea for this week’s until just a few days ago when I found my Aha! Moment 😲in the unlikeliest of places – the Chicago Tribune! – in a review of a new musical playing on Broadway, ‘Boop! The Musical.’ (And I had to chuckle that after I decided on Betty I caught up with NST posts last nite and saw that Robin had mentioned Betty Boop earlier in the week but I’d never seen it!)
Popular during the 1930’s, Betty Boop was a caricature of a Jazz-age flapper and is regarded as one of the first and best-known sex symbols on the animated screen. I wanted to wear a fragrance created in the 1930’s that would befit her image, and if I had either Dana Tabu or Schiaparelli Shocking, that’s what I would wear. But the scents I had from the 1930’s, among them Je Reviens and Blue Grass, were just too tame.
So I set out to find something in my collection similar to Tabu and found a good match, Lagerfeld KL, which shares many of the same notes as Tabu: spices, orange and bergamot at the top; cloves, ylang-ylang, jasmine and rose in the middle; and amber, civet, benzoin, patchouli at the bottom. And it is equally as potent as the Tabu, which I did have long ago and remember wearing. And since the character of Betty Boop has been played by many until the current day, I can still take points for KL, created in 1983.
Wow, that was a learning experience! Have a great weekend, everyone!
I used to wear KL. It fits Betty so perfectly
Very excellent Laila!
Well, since it’s my birthday I just wanted to wear one of my favorite perfumes, so I’m in L’air de Rien. Plus with the slightly cooler weather, it felt perfect for today. I love being in a cloud of this from the original release, so it’s especially potent. I haven’t been able to find a good cartoon pairing, so if anyone thinks of one, let me know!
Happy Birthday!
Thank you!
Happy Scented Birthday, therabbitsflower! 🎂🎊
For L’air de Rien, how about Daredevil or Ghost Rider?
Good choices, and thank you!
Happy Birthday! 🎂
Thanks, pl67!
Happy Birthday!
Thank you!
Happy birthday! I hope you had a lovely day so far!
Thanks, it’s been a nice day!
Happy birthday!!. Maybe you could pair it with a scene from Fantasia, like the dance of the sugar plum fairies
Fun idea, and thank you!
Ditto on that suggestion and happy birthday
Thank you!
Happy Birthday! 💐
Thanks, NinaV!
Oh, a very happy birthday!
Thanks, Robin!
Happy Birthday! Wishing you all good things in a wonderful scented year ahead!🥳
Thank you so much!
Happy Birthday!
Thank you!
Hope you’re having a happy birthday weekend!
Thanks, Vee!
I realized I’ve not kept in touch with the cartoon-loving part of myself much. But finally things clicked, when I thought of Mugler Angel in the black Glamourama star: Catwoman! She has many depictions, but I mostly think of her as she is in the 1960’s TV show Batman. Fabulously, as done by Earth Kitt; and with that little hint of romance with Batman, as done by Julie Newmar. I also enjoyed Halle Berry’s interpretation in her movie. Purring in patchouli for this Friday.
Julie Newmar!
Catwoman: “Now, if you’ll all assume positions of subservience, we can complete this caper with a minimum of jeopardy and danger to all.”
How on Earth did that ever get past the censors onto broadcast TV?!?
No idea but it was Catwoman after all🐱
I don’t think the censors were de regueur until the mid-80s methinks, but what do I know 🤷🏻♀️?
Robin, love your Pink Panther, Eau Sauvage, Henry Mancini choice!
Sotd (very un-CO): Desertland for its juniper and lavender, layered w BBW Eucalyptus-Lavender shea butter. Craving juniper and eucalyptus today while on hospital duty.
Happy Friday NST !
Happy Friday LesLiesse!
How’s your sniffer today?
My sniffer would like a snifter of brandy! 😆😆😆 Jappy Happy Hour! I think my sense of smell is fully recovered. I got some fresh blood oranges to eat and they smelled uplifting and pungently citrus-y !
HAPPY Happy Hour (it’s like I already started drinking…)
Lol!
Prost! 🍻
Hope hospital duty went well and you are long since home and resting 🙂
Hospital duty continues until at least next Monday (then skilled nursing facility duty to recover from the hospital) but I’m taking Sunday off and resting all day. Thank you for your good wishes Robin!
Hope all is going well for all on the hospital front.🤞
Laila, I think we turned an important corner, but tbh I’ve got whiplash emotionally from all the twists and turns. Hopefully the road is going straight ahead now 🙏
Mancini fan! And Peter Sellers.
I’m late to the party but sharing my SOTD which is Régime des Fleurs Green Vanilla. Just testing this one and find it to be (sadly ($$$)) quite beautiful. Really unique vanilla, spice, amber, but so much more going on with this one. Need to try more of this brand.
My brother still remembers bits and pieces of Peter Sellers playing Inspector Clouseau. He was very young when he saw the movie but it made quite the impression on him.
Comic genius!
He never gets old.
After his first Clouseau movie, my father started speaking to me in a French accent (I’m not kidding).
“Daughtere, what are you doing?” “How do we know where zee cat is goiiing during zee day? Perrrrhaps we should put ink on zee paws?”
And then out of nowhere, “The Chinese fortune cookie in the Japanese restaurant ploy….Cato!!!”
OMG we loved the Cato bits. Completely Un-PC now (actually everything about the movies was Un_PC) but they were so funny.
That’s exactly what my brother remembers!
“All whacked off Scooby snacks”
Feels like summer here! Last temperature I saw this afternoon was 83 degrees. 🥵🥵🥵🥵
So many choices for me, I might do a bonus pick sometime over the weekend.
SOTD = Angel EdP, for Scooby Doo. He and the teens in Mystery Inc. were always poking around things like scary circuses, creepy carnivals, and super spooky amusement parks. The gourmand notes in Angel reflect on those. Plus Scooby and Shaggy were always hungry. Wonder what was *really* in those Scooby snacks?
I thought about Scooby Doo today, and then thought “don’t think I have anything with a cannabis note, especially given that if I need one all I have to do is walk down the block outside my house.” 🙂
But then, I am wearing a “grass” note! 😉
I have a sample of Smell Bent’s “Hungry Hungry Hippies”, which does have a rather dank weed note in it. No way was I going to wear THAT today. It’s strictly for the coldest of cold weather.
Scooby snack shoutout FTW, Jalapeno !!!
Got the munchies yet? 🤣🤣
Rot rho who meeee? (Yes)
That’s a cool pairing Jalapeno!
Thanks lillyjo! I watched a LOT of Scooby back in the day. But absolutely loathed Scrappy Doo. He was a DON’T! 😡
Scrappy was the worst. It all went downhill after they introduced him. I knew that even as a 7-year-old.
🎶Scooby Doo, where are you? We’ve got some work to do now.🎵
Ruh roh! But that sounds more like Astro Jetson than Scooby…
Hi, twin! Yet, we’re, like, cats and dogs! 🤣
That’s right, we were scent twins today!
Perfect pairing! I was searching for Chris Pratt on Amazon and a bunch of Scooby shows came up in the search.
Thanks hajusuuri!
Channeling Cathy, who would wear something aspirational, with Iris Torrefie. (Still had to be office friendly)
I wanted to match Cathy but couldn’t think of anything.
Great match!
I’m so late it’s the next day but I wanted to add my scent to the Friday CP post.
I wore Prada Candy for Bart Simpson, who hawked my favorite candy bar for a while – Butterfinger. I haven’t had one in years, not sure my teeth could handle it now, but man they were good! I love Bart’s cheeky attitude.
Great CP idea, Jalapeño!
Thank you ringthing! Glad you enjoyed this CP.
Seconding ringthing — great CP idea Jalapeno! Everyone got very creative for it
Thanks Vee!
Very late to post but I wore a sample of LAP Mure et Musc on Friday for the Gummy Bears, who I imagine would smell like a mix of their gummy berry juice and musky bear fur. This one is very much a situation where I recognize that the perfume is beautifully done but it is not all my cup of tea. Berry is just not my note.
I’ve been on an Earl Grey kick all week. I think it has to do with all of the springtime rain.
I don’t do well with berry notes either.
