Italian niche line Santa Maria Novella has launched Acqua and Quercia. The two new fragrances join Bizzarria, Gelsomino, Magnolia and L'Iris in the brand's I Giardini Medicei collection.
Acqua ~ Aquatic floral. "Acqua is inspired by the water features of the Medicean Villas fountains, a symbol of elegance and refinement. This fragrance captures the freshness and vitality of water in motion, with bright, transparent top notes that blend into a floral heart and a delicate, enveloping base." The notes include pear, freesia, lotus and musk.
Quercia ~ Woody aromatic. "Quercia pays homage to the imposing tree of the Medicean Villa di Castello, a symbol of strength and longevity, which has defied time and the seasons for over five hundred years. This fragrance combines deep and rich woody notes that evoke the majesty of oak, creating an intense and long-lasting olfactory experience." Additional notes include lavender, vetiver and patchouli.
Santa Maria Novella Acqua and Quercia are available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
