It's Friday and National Notebook Day. Our community project for today: Dealer's Choice, edition 7. Propose a theme for a Friday community project, and wear a fragrance that fits your theme.
What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.
Continuing with my (lame, I know!) theme of “wear what you never got around to putting away since last time you wore it”, I’m in Kenzo Air.
Reminder: on 5/26, there will be a community project, and I will announce it by Monday! Sorry I am behind.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2023, where I'll try (but usually fail) to have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

Had several CP possibilities in mind, and have been enjoying reading everyone’s. Finally decided on “Perfumes I’d Never Have Tried if Not for NST’s Swapmeet. ” Today’s is Les Indemodables Vanille Havane. Love the crazy-boozy opening, and all the rest of it too. I like Babycat, but I might have picked this instead in a pick-one situation.
Isn’t Vanille Havane soooo delicious? I adore it too, can’t get enough of the opening.
I suspect I am going to like it in warm weather!
Love this one – you smell great!
Scent of the day is
Safari by Ralph Lauren
for my narcissus focused week Au delà Narcisse, Dryad, Eau de Narcisse Bleu, Romanza
As an option for today I also had Tabac Tabou, but the lovely sunny weather and friday mood just called for Safari.
Safari is so much more than narcissus but the note is quite prominent to me. And its such a happy fragrance to me. Instant good mood when I smell it ☺️
Safari is gorgeous!! I never particularly picked it the narcissus. I adore that green opening though.
One of my favorites, but for the galbanum, rather than the narcissus. I like narcissus, and just got a bottle of Dames soliflore Narcissus, but I haven’t tried it yet.
I have Dame’s as well… in a rollerball… its been a while since I wore it.
I remember it was lovely but a bit linear and one dimensional on my skin.
I love narcissus as a note, especially if it’s prominent! I have all these scents you mentioned, in some form, minis, samples and big full bottle of Au Dela but I am not familiar with Romanza. Have to look it up now!
I think Romanza is great but I dont think its a crowd pleaser. Its a bit sour and bitter.
Yeah narcissus is great and versatile.
Tomorrow I think I am going to wrap up the theme with Chloe’s Narcisse. That was my signature when I was 18 years old. I still love it and it still reminds me of that transitional phase… going from high school to university…
Oh, Narcisse! What a great fragrance. I think I went through 2 bottles of it.
I love a narcissus, too. You smell lovely! And thanks for reminding me to put Au delà on my wishlist.
Safari smell soooo good, and with all those notes, it can be quite different from wearing to wearing. I’ll try and sniff out the narcissus next time I take it out.
I’m in Emotionelle today, simply because I remembered how lovely it was and how long I searched for a bottle after the line closed. Bois de Paradis and Amoureuse are high on my want list, but since I’m on a no buy, they can just stay hidden for now.
Looking forward to a quiet weekend after the blitzkrieg of this class. I’ve started test-knitting a very cute sweater for a designer on Instagram. I was casting on last night in anticipation of watching a movie and knitting up a storm. And maybe some homework.
Robin, you smell great. My Air is just barely starting to turn but there’s not a lot of room to hide an off note in such a spare composition.
Have a great day, everyone!
I ❤️ Amoureuse! A bottle is on my unicorn wishlist, too. 🦄😊
I’ve seen all of them on resale sites except Amoureuse. I honestly barely remember it. Hope someone’s holding onto bottles for both of us. 😉
I wore Bois de Paradis in your honor today. It’s a beautiful scent. I also have Amoureuse in my cabinet. I will put them both down in my will fo you. Let’s hope this does not incite my murder anytime soon!
You’re too sweet!! But if course I’m hoping you’re beautifully-scented for decades to come. 🎉
Mine no longer smells pristine either. I wonder if part of what I’m enjoying is just the memory
Or the ice cube bottle!
I know they’re not the same but Brin de Reglisse has a similar blowsy herbal/sweet feel.
sotd = l’air du desert marocain + l’air du temps edt
Robin, were kinda sorta “air twins” today. 😁😁
My theme is to wear the oldest and newest perfume I could find. Double theme points for accidentally wearing two perfumes that begin with the same word.
laddm is on my wrists, one swipe of the brand spanking new solid perfume on each. It is very pine pitchy at the moment, hope it develops as the day goes on.
L’air du temps is from an old 1970s splash bottle. I dumped some down inside the front of my shirt this morning. I love it. 💞
I either smell like heaven or something else. 😆 Either way, Friday here I come!
Waft on tiffanie!
My theme this week has been Adjectives: wear something that has an adjective in the name (and for me specifically an adjective-noun one-two). I saved Escada Casual Friday for today, because of course I did. It’s SO good: intensely floral, lots of carnations and jasmine, but butched up with angular spices and herbs up top and a lush chypre base of oakmoss, patchouli, and vanilla. It’s another one in a long list of scents I bought immediately upon smelling it, because I just knew. Discontinued for ages, of course, and so hard to come by that bottles of it are selling for $400ish on eBay (or at least they’re listed for that: I don’t know if anybody’s buying).
Your scent sounds fabulous! Carnations are wonderful. 😊 Cool perfume name too.
I’m continuing with my copycat cp and I’m in No 5 Eau premiere because pfsh wore it yesterday.
Happy Friday and Hakuna Matata!🦁 Oh my gosh you guys, The Lion King was sooo good last night!🤩 I loved every minute of it, it was even better than I remember. We had great seats, first row in the first balcony and even my teenager who was kind of meh about going came out all enthusiastic with a “that was so good!” I think I might even have her talked into going to see Les Miserables and Mamma Mia with me when they come.
Looking forward to the splitmeet tomorrow, I might have something being delivered today that I will be splitting.😉
So glad you all enjoyed it! You smell great.
Sounds like a great time. Those other two are wonderful. I have seen them as well.
We really loved the PBS Masterpiece version of Les Mis, and who doesn’t like ABBA?! They were my very first concert back in 1979!
You smell good!! I was contemplating wearing Eau Premiere again just so I can thunk my decant. Glad you had a good show too, I’ll have to check out Lion King sometime
Thanks! Let me know if you’d ever like more. I have a ginormous bottle of the original formula.
And I would highly recommend The Lion King!
You smell great! I love Eau Premiére. Glad you and your family enjoyed Lion King!
Sounds like The Lion King was a wonderful time for everyone.
In the final (knock wood) installment of my Whatever Will Feel Dry theme this week, I chose Papillon’s Spell 125. Incense scents always feel fairly dry to me, and this is a gorgeous one. I’ve been dabbing generously from a sample vial while holding myself back from purchasing a FB, but I can feel the caving beginning. 🥴
Ah yes, the familiar feel of caving!
Yes to incense!
My CP is full bottles that I didn’t have to buy. I’m wearing You or Someone Like You from ELDO. I didn’t have to buy it because I got it several years ago from one of Robin’s rare giveaways. It’s very citrussy on my skin.
Oh yay, I forgot all about that!
I changed my theme to Why Don’t I Wear This More Often, and I’m wearing Hypnotic Poison, which I just love. I have a couple of bottles of varying ages.
My mother informed me that she’s almost out of perfume so I gave her SJP Lovely and my partial bottle of White Cube since I have a backup. I don’t think she can smell Lovely which to my nose is mainly musk but she’s loving White Cube 😊
You smell amazing. 😍 That’s a bombshell on me.
I think I am unable to smell a lot of what’s in SJP Lovely, too! Every time I tried, it was very “thin” smelling. Just kind of chemical-y. Oh, well.
I had the same experience with Lovely. It was like a thin, metallic floral and nothing more
Lovely! Doesn’t it feel luxurious to have a couple bottles from different ages? So great.
Hi springpansy! I wanted to send you a message, but your gravatar address here doesn’t seem to work. I’m at standing dawt armsakimbo at GM. Thanks!
I think maybe because it’s springpansy 5 at the gmail and people sometimes miss the ‘5’.
I love Hypnotic Poison. Glad you have a few bottles
How nice that you give your bottles to your mother. ⭐️
Can you remind me of the name of White Cube? I’ve been meaning to try some of the Narciso scents, and they all sound the same. So confusing!
I don’t think I was able to smell much from SJP Lovely either. But it’s been ages since I smelled it.
Finishing out German week in Erik Kormann Eau de Fröhliche #2. Busy morning ahead, but at least the smoke seems to have cleared outside.
Nice, you should get extra points for a full week!
After 2 days of L’heure Bleue, I am going with no 5 edt. Today is my last day before my vacation.
Tomorrow I have a wedding to go to. It’s either no 22 extrait, Gris Charnel, no 5 extrait or Lyric extrait. I don’t want to drive everyone out with strong perfume and that is why I am going with dabbing perfume.
What lovely choices! You will smell divine, whichever you choose🌹
Enjoy your holidays
Enjoy your vacation!!!
Such a great feeling when you can close your laptop (or any other work tool) knowing you wont need it for a while. 😊
Back in my old holy grail TDC Jasmin de Nuit. Only about 10 mls left. My bottle is from 2014 and I think it’s starting to turn
Another reason to continue Use It Up CP indefinitely.
I’ve had an issue with a number of TDC bottles, including Jasmin de Nuit and Bois d’Iris. The top note seems to go off quickly and I wonder if it’s the bottle design (where the sprayer and bottle connect). Once the top note evaporates, the fragrance smells fine but it’s rough going until then.
Ugh, going to check my other TDCs now!
Opardu for my Lilac Love theme
Oh…I’m gonna have to back to check your prior lilac. Although I imagine Desarmant is there….
I’m joining you in lilac ❤️ this week!
For my Whatever perfume I have left that is now residing in my pantry that didn’t go into storage (to keep them cool) CP – VC&A First – such a lovely floral for a greeny green spring day💚
Smelling amazing as always!
Day 4 of Poetry and Perfume! Can I do it…? 😅
BY JANE HIRSHFIELD
One day in that room, a small rat.
Two days later, a snake.
Who, seeing me enter,
whipped the long stripe of his
body under the bed,
then curled like a docile house-pet.
I don’t know how either came or left.
Later, the flashlight found nothing.
For a year I watched
It as something—terror? happiness? grief?—
entered and then left my body.
Not knowing how it came in,
Not knowing how it went out.
It hung where words could not reach it.
It slept where light could not go.
Its scent was neither snake nor rat,
neither sensualist nor ascetic.
There are openings in our lives
of which we know nothing.
the belled herds travel at will,
long-legged and thirsty, covered with foreign dust.
My SOTD is based entirely on that last stanza which evokes images of goats and their herders in the Middle East who often put bells around the necks of some goats in the herd because no fences. It’s dry and dusty in the region, which is where saffron was originally cultivated. So that means Safran Troublant for me today.
I have a book recommendation for you! “Beaverland: How One Weird Rodent Made America” by Leila Philip. I’m enjoying it immensely.
I just looked that up and put it to the top of my list . Thanks for the suggestion! ☺️
I picked up a book of Hirshfield’s essays in the library yesterday called Ten Windows: How Great Poems Transform the World and started reading . It’s so interesting and there’s a chapter on haiku that ties in nicely with the weekend challenge. Thanks again for your week of poems. Sadly our library had none of her poetry books. Do you have a favourite volume of poems so I can “blind buy” a copy somewhere.
I don’t think you can go wrong with any of her poetry books. In my “collection” I had Given Salt, Given Sugar and The Lives of the Heart. Those were a couple of her earlier books and I think she has a few more out now. I’m glad you like her! ✌🏼
Oh nice, my library has Ten Windows. Have so many books out now that I just added it to my “to hold” list.
I had a few ideas for the CP, but ended up going with whatever I grab. If I remember correctly, someone else is doing this too. Anyway, I just grabbed IA Fox in the Flowerbed.
Thinking of you Robin every day💕
Thank you Kris, everything helps, this is really really tough.
After the last session I will splash on the last of the sample of Reve en cuir. Definitely doing “wear what you never got around to putting away since last time you wore it”.
I love Reve en Cuir – what do you think of it?
So glad I bought a bottle!
Ending my “Whatever my hand grabs” theme with Prada Infusion d’Iris.
Happy Friday! 🌻
You are the one I copied today. I had a few ideas for the CP but ended up going with whatever I grab too.
I tried to keep the theme as easy as possible!
Smelling fabulous, of course! I checked my bottle level, and it’s dangerously low,
Thank you, Gail! I am relying on decants and minis for the original Infusion. I don’t know why I never got a full bottle of it.
Has the hand been happy this week? 🤣
So far it has been ok! 😀
My theme is Living Dangerously. I’m doing the final check and securing my perfume boxes for the transport to the new house and as much as I love the modern all natural perfumes, my box of vintage perfumes loaded with currently banned and dangerous chemicals I calling to me. I went for vintage Mitsouko and dabbed it on my hand. It’s so glorious. Oakmoss was totally worth it even if it was going to make me reach for my asthma inhaler. Which it didn’t. I have super sensitive skin too and yet I’m not getting any reaction from it. I am glad phthalates and nitro musks were phased out, though. Photo of one of my boxes with the vintage contraband: https://www.instagram.com/p/CsbjDi5OEJo/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Wonderful photo of your vintage! I hope the move goes smoothly.
Good luck with the move. Beautiful photo! I’m with you on the oakmoss ❤️.
Best of luck with the move! They are always stressful.
Lovely photo! Hope it all goes just as expected.
I’m going with a version of MossyBerry’s theme: wearing bottles/decants that I have thanks to NST — whether from a review on the site, a swap/split or the generosity of a perfumista here. Today I am in Eris Mx (also have been wearing Angelique Noire, Covet, Ashoka, Lost Alice, Fendi edt, and Eau de Gaga). I haven’t posted for a couple of weeks but I’ve been wearing fragrance as always!
We had a great time on my birthday camping trip a couple of weekends ago — winetasting, kayaking, hiking and campfires (even a yoga class). So much fun. Then after we returned, we had a guest for several days and then I got sick. Still recovering (COVID tests have been negative, so some sort of nasty head cold, but so far I can still smell!).
That’s a great CP.
Glad your trip was fun and that you are feeling better!
Thanks, ringthing. So many great things have come to my life from this blog — along with perfume and friends, books and tv show recs have been great.
Nice to see you back!
So glad you felt like posting and that you feel better.
Thank you, Aurora.
Happy belated birthday – your trip has all the elements I would love! Hope you feel better soon.
I *thought* that camping trip was taking a really long time! Hope that you are feeling like normal soon.
Haha! We *did* stay an extra day because it was so much fun, so four days total.
Smoothie is clementines and yogurt
For the CP I decided on the theme ‘it’s over’ a perfume you used to enjoy but don’t like anymore. I would be wearing Youth Dew Amber Nude except that I so dislike it now that I couldn’t face it.
Today I wore Must de Cartier, made me happy all day and even though it was still going strong, tonight I am in Bellodgia or rather Au Bellodgia as my very vintage bottle of EDT indicates and it smells so lovely right now.
I wore vintage Bellodgia last night — what a beautiful fragrance! You smell great.
Oh thank you, so did you, it’s an amazing scent.
I love you CP, Aurora – so much to be learned from the “It’s Over” scent, but also the chance that you will fall in love all over again.
Thank you Mossyberry, so true about the falling back in love, that can happen too and in turn can be a CP too😀.
Bellodgia is gorgeous.
Oh, you love it too😀 It was one of those evenings when I knew in a second what I wanted to wear.
It’s amazing the turn around you did with Amber Nude. I’ve done that with a more than a few perfumes. For me it’s because of negative association. When that happens there is rarely going back. It becomes like wearing clothes that don’t fit right anymore.
I now have a negative association with a LUSH shower gel. I can’t be around Sticky Dates anymore, and my bottle is almost full. 😢
At least I still love the Rose Jam shower gel.
Yes, I still don’t understand it and I have a BUB which I should sell but I don’t want the bother. I suppose we all have experienced being out of love with a fragrance. Which ones did it happen for you.
Your theme made me laugh Aurora!
Delighted it made you laugh Robin. I just hope the falling out of love won’t happen with any other perfume.
My theme is Perfume Inspired by Poetry; and my SOTD is Rosarine, which launches this month from Parfums Dusita (I got an advance sample as part of a contest by the brand). It’s a beautiful fruity rose, though I actually smell more of the fruity notes than the rose in this first phase. Very nice!
I like a good fruity rose 🌹
ll Vanille 44 today. grateful for Friday. Going out Sunday to lunch with friends to celebrate my birthday a bit late.
Enjoy the belated B-day lunch!
It’s the last day of Whatever Gets You Going In The Morning–notes of coffee, tea, or chocolate. Today I’m wearing Zoologist Civet, for the coffee note. I follow PGA golf and if you haven’t seen it yet, Google Tom Kim to see the lengths to which a golfer will go to save a shot.
Love Civet. In fact, I thought about wearing it today as it is chilly and I usually wear that in cooler weather.
I have been watching the PGA for years and started watching the tournament yesterday but hadn’t seen that by Tom Kim. Yes, they will go to any lengths.
I guess my theme today is wear a perfume that is low-key and chill. I’m in Diptyque L’Eau Papier today, which I got my 50 mL bottle from Bloomingdale’s for $80.75 when it retails for $125 (they had the price at $95 on their site for a few days and they also gave me a 15% off offer). It doesn’t really smell like paper, but there’s something comforting about it to me in the combo of rice steam accord, mimosa, blonde woods, and white musk.
I often go for low-key and chill!
It’s been quite a week for me so I haven’t been able to comment since Monday. Tuesday morning we had my aunt and uncle’s old couch that still has a lot of life in it moved in and our old couch hauled away. It was a pretty smooth experience but stressful and busy leading up, as their couch is much bigger than our old one so we had to get rid of some things, clean, and organize to make room. We used the app TaskRabbit to hire someone to transport both couches and help move them out and in, and that was a great experience. We would definitely use this guy again! We also just got two new Ikea bookshelves to help finally get our books and movies organized, and I think we need to buy one more because we have too much media to fit in the two new shelves and our two old shelves. Time to go through the books to find some to donate!
Then Wednesday I had to go in the office and had a very social and busy day there. Yesterday I had meetings almost nonstop from 8:30 to 4. At least I got a lunch break.
Today is much more calm thankfully. Our weather has cooled down substantially with a high of 74. I’m still wearing a hot weather favorite though, which has been my CP this week. Today I went with Un Jardin Apres la Mousson. Yesterday was Un Jardin en Mediterranee during the day and Philosykos at night. I went commando on Wednesday, but Tuesday I wore Micallef Ylang in Gold.
You smell great! I love Un Jardin Après La Mousson, it’s a favorite.
Thanks, and it’s definitely a favorite of mine too. I thought I heard rumor of it being discontinued, and it’s not on their US site right now. I’ve already made a dent in my 15ml bottle so I may need to snag another bottle sooner than later
You smell great!
I think Apres la Mousson is my favourite Jardin.
Sur le Nil is close second.
Mediterranee is my other favorite, but I want to wear Sur le Nil more this summer to give it a fair chance to be favorite. It’s one of those decants that can be hidden away for a while and I forget about it.
Glad that things have calmed down for you now.
Thank you. I’m so happy it’s the weekend now.
Congrats on getting so much organizing and redecorating done! Hope you are happy in your re-done space.
Thanks, Robin! We still have a ways to go in getting everything as it should be, but we’re liking our living space and couch lounging a lot more already.
My CP today is Spread the News, Share the Love. Wear a perfume that you loved so much that you felt the need to share it with someone else ( bought them a bottle, made a decant, gave them your bottle and then replaced your own, made them smell it on you or in the shop). My first thought was Feu D’Issey which I also bought for my mother ( and later stole back). But now it is Ganja which I now share with my husband.
Nice topic. I’ll have to think whether I’ve been nice enough to share a perfume I love with anyone.
Grateful recipient of lovely juice right here! 👋🏻
If only we’d all bought multiple bottles of Feu d’Issey when we still could!
My theme is “Remind me again why…”
I have a couple of scents that I tested, sniffed, pondered and bought. Then promptly wondered why after wearing them.
Today is Alamut by Villoresi. I think I’ve worn it three times since buying a number of years ago.
Ooooops. “Perfume Fail”!
I just tell myself that it’s all part of the learning experience.
I’m in a neroli citrus jag, so that’s my CP. Today wearing LL’s Bigarade 18, which is really lovely, and for 1/5 the cost, I’d buy it in a heartbeat. Today’s juice is from a Royalty Scents decant. Had to look up bigarade.
“For 1/5 the cost, I’d buy it in a heartbeat” is also a good cp
Keeping with my CP of something I got from another NSTer, and wearing Vol de Nuit EdT. A swap extra became a lifelong love❣️
♥ So many wonderful fragrances have entered my life that way!
Isn’t it great? 😊
A confluence of recent deaths associated with former coworkers, all from the same employer, has saddened my week. Two weeks ago, a former co-worker passed away followed by his wife’s passing last weekend. Also last weekend, another former co-worker who was my boss for awhile – one of the best – lost both his beloved wife to Alzheimer’s and his dear secretary of many years to heart disease. I worked with all three co-workers for many years, and all were long-time members of our community, so I knew everyone well even outside of work. Four wakes in two weeks is just too many!
A nice escape for me this week was our historic theater’s classic film series’ 60th anniversary showing of the second James Bond film, From Russia With Love. Oh, that Sean Connery ❤️!
And, on a brighter note, my lilacs in bloom this week inspired my cp, Just Look Out the Window! Whether you live in the city, suburbs, small town, or countryside and, regardless of the season, look outside your window and wear a scent that mirrors whatever Nature is doing outside. For me today, it’s YR’s long d/c Pur Desir de Lilas, my favorite lilac fragrance – floral but also green and a bit woody- smells like the real thing (Annick Ménardo, perfumer). Other lilac favorites I’ve been enjoying this week are Pacifica French Lilac, Gucci Guilty, Annie Oakley Morning Dew, and Alfred Sung Sha.
This weekend I’m looking forward to working in the garden, inhaling deeply, and listening to birdsong – my favorite wrens have arrived! Wishing everyone a nice one ahead!🐧 🎵
I’m sorry to hear that several people you knew passed away in such close succession. That’s a lot of deal with.
“TO deal with”. Hugs.
I’m so sorry for all of that loss. Your weekend plans sound perfect for some calm processing and comfort from nature.
Sending hugs and comforting hugs, Laila! 🌻
So sorry, sending hugs.
I’m sorry for the loss of your friends Laila.
Many thanks for your kind words and hugs. Very much appreciated!❤️
In doing my chypre week, I’ve realised that my idea of chypre doesn’t always gel with others’ ideas. Looking at Fragrantica, Jubilation 25 isn’t described as a chypre, but to my nose it is very reminiscent of Mitsouko, so I’ll wear Jubilation 25.
Meanwhile, I wore Francesca Bianchi’s Lost in Heaven last night, it will be on my clothes for ever. It even survives the washing machine.
“Survives the washing machine” could also be a cp!
Robin, your theme isn’t lame at all.
A day of phone calls, trying to get things done. Ugh. Hate doing it.
SOTD = commando. For a whole week! Glad that other NSTers were picking up my slack.
Oh dear, it sounds like a drab but necessary day. It’s not too late where you are to still choose a scent for the evening😉 which reminds me I should be in bed soon.
Took care of most of the calls on my list, which felt good. Still have a couple to deal with, but at least one of them has to wait until Monday.
I wonder if when you wear a perfume again if it will smell overpowering?
Good question. I guess I’ll find out, huh?
I did a lot of hateful phone calls today too, ugh. If I have to call my insurance company one more time I might implode, honestly.
Glad you got most of yours crossed off the list!
Oh gods. Dealing with insurance companies is The Freaking Worst. Giving you a met-ton of credit for handling that.
Wearing Chanel Paris-Riviera today. My hubby was up extra early, already moving furniture onto the backyard deck so he could rip out the disgusting carpet! I grabbed the scent I wore last night since it was handy. My theme has not been consistent but I’ve been trying to make some larger dents in my neglected bottles.
I realized this week when we tried to sell things on Market Place that people don’t necessarily want your stuff. We used to be able to sell or free-cycle things much easier a few years ago. No longer the case here.
I guess there’s no going back now with our floors. We have a person coming on Tuesday to give an estimate to install whatever we pick (still not finalized) and the old carpet is out! Temporary furniture is set up inside.
I noticed that when people put free things on the curb for people to take, that they stay out longer and sometimes nobody ever takes them.
I bet! We are in a townhouse complex so we can’t leave stuff out on the front curb.
I’m in a townhouse development too, but people leave stuff by the Dumpsters. Sometimes it disappears within an hour or two.
The “pickers” come around here a lot less often than they used to.
It’s different now “out there”!
So true about it being difficult to find takers for your stuff. Have a friend whose mom recently moved into assisted living, and my friend’s brother thinks a yard sale is in order. It was tough, but managed to keep my mouth shut!
We joked and said the freebies we listed that people would want us to drop them off!
It is hard. Buynothing is not very active in my town. Freecycle is a little more active, so is Craigslist. But luckily we have an active FB group, not part of any national organization, and that often works for me .
We had them on FB Market Place and a local website classifieds that we had great luck with before. I checked today and there’s so much free stuff on there that’s been listed for a few weeks.
I’m in Uncle Serge’s Tubereuse Criminelle from a treasured decant, my CP for the week.
Happy Friday, everyone! 🎉
Yay, my favorite!!!
I am stealing Nancyleandros cp and wearing a treasured decant.
TF Fleur de Chine. I bet I have been nursing this for about 7 or 8 years? I almost thunked it last year but chickened out. I will continue to enjoy it sparingly until the last drop.
You smell fantastic, lillyjo! I have a little screw top decant of that one too and can’t bring myself to even open the thing. You’ve inspired me to wear it. Thank you!
Better to wear it all and thunk it then have your treasure evaporate or go off!
“THAN have”. Sheesh, I am making grammar errors left and right today.
Cartier Baiser Vole EdT today. I was in the office this morning and didn’t wear anything, then wanted something floral, green and lightly sweet. I got a bottle of the (discontinued) EdT from ebay recently, since I like th EdP but it has more sweetness and less green to it. So now I have both! Can’t go wrong with either but it is disappointing the EdT is discontinued as it is so light and fresh and pretty.
