Happy Almost-Friday and happy World Philosophy Day! Birthdays today: Johnny Mercer, Alan Shephard, Margaret Atwood, Wilma Mankiller. What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm in Tauer Perfumes Phi — Une Rose de Kandahar.
Reminder: Early on 11/19 (some of us will be sleeping) we'll see a Partial Lunar Eclipse of the Micro Beaver Moon. Wear what you think fits.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2021, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.
Note: top image is Full Moon Over Vineyard: Full Beaver Moon over the vineyard in Livermore durting the peak autumn period. [cropped] by Jay Huang at flickr; some rights reserved.
Sotd is Amyris Femme from my sample box.
Currently drinking jasmine tea and having a carrot muffin.
Hurray to almost weekend!
A carrot muffin sounds delicious (I have probably not had a muffin in 10 years, so maybe any muffin sounds delicious.)
Robin ~ I have a delicious muffin recipe, and it’s pretty healthy. Let me know if you’d like it.
I’m also in a Tauer – Au Coeur du Désert, from a sample. This one is too sweetly amber for me right now.
No 5 parfum
For the CP
Dancing on the Moon…
Nice choice for the CP!
Thank you ? ?
You smell marvelous! Nice choice for the CP!
chanel makeup too..
Sweet! Me too. I found an aubergine/plum shadow that is just what I needed for today.
Imagine dancing on the moon, free from earth’ s gravity. I bet waltzing would be amazing, floating around , surrounded by stars.
you created a very poetic image for me.
You can take all my CP points…
SOTD is the Chanel Paris-Edimbourgh again. Other birthdays are Mickey Mouse and my sister’s! Happy almost Friday to everyone!
Happy birthday to your sister!
? I like her. Thank you!
Scent: Perris Monte Carlo Mandarino Di Sicilia. Very nice mandarine top note, I missed the mid note florals, and then cedar. Always hunting for a good orange/mandarine, but am ambivalent about the cedar. I’ve been on a bright citrus and orange blossom bender lately.
Tea: Ahman Tea Blackcurrant Infusion, which is a nice fruity herbal situation.
Might test: Narciso For Her EDT. I bought the rollerball when it first came out (2003), and either my nose is wonky, or my rather old rollerball has had it’s day. That’s fair, and no regrets about what didn’t get used – I wore this as frequently as I wanted to.
Have a great day!
“I wore this as frequently as I wanted to” is a quite excellent perfume statement on World Philosophy Day!
Inadvertent perfume wisdom! Thanks!
Ah, good point!
I recommend Guerlain Mandarine Basilic.
If you want something cheap I think the Body Shop Satsuma range ( body spray) is a good mandarin option. It’s basically just the one note ( mandarin) with no complexity or development but it’s nice and wearable and true to the fruit.
I agree – Guerlain Mandarine Basilic and Body Shop Satsuma range are both great mandarin scents.
I like the orange note in Atelier Cologne’s Orange Sanguine. Some people are bothered by the base notes in it, though. YMMV.
For once, not in a Tauer (though you smell lovely, Robin!). SOTD is Ouarzazate, from a sample. I quite like it, but I already have two of the incense FBs, so…probably not high on the FB list.
Long week; I had hoped we were basically done with the high school applications for Ockeghem Tween for a little while, but then we got her test results back, and there was much drama. Let’s say I don’t believe they are representative of her abilities (and at any rate, really can’t be submitted to the school). So, another month of intensive test prep and complaint, on top of everything else. It always seems like everyone else has kids who know what they want, have no problem choosing schools and doing what they need to do to get there. Not so with Ockeghem Tween. I think she just expects it to fall into her lap…which just isn’t going to happen any longer. Sigh.
Oh, and did I mention that the day we got the test results, I also had to call because we’d heard nothing about her COVID test, and it turns out the vial leaked and they can’t give us a result. She’s not even coughing anymore — that was only a couple of days — but I guess we have to go back and retake the test, and I don’t know where we’re going to find that hour of our lives. One of those weeks.
Are you required to produce a test result for her to return to school? If not I’d skip it. Sorry about the testing/school drama, that’s a pain.
No, we haven’t told the school, since it was clear she just had a cold but we had the test out of an abundance of caution. She hasn’t been coughing at school. Clearly having her retested is not high on the province’s agenda, since they couldn’t be bothered to contact us to tell us the sample couldn’t be tested. So we’re not rushing out…
School applications are so stressful! Good luck in all of the process.
Being a tween is a hard time of life, both for the parents and the tween herself. I don’t envy you.
That’s why you will be very appreciated later in life.
Morning all, my SOTD is Serge Lutens’ Un Bois Vanille, anise, coconut, and caramelized vanilla pudding – I added a spritz of L’ Artisan’s Patchouli patch to break it up. I am definitely wafting a huge cloud!
Working on student payroll and will head to the gym momentarily. I overslept, intended to wake up at 6 but I do love that snooze button! Here’s to cup #2 of espresso….
I found a tasty treat. Halo Top vanilla ice cream with diet root beer, a float that’s not too calorie-laden and won’t blow my calorie intake for the day.
Mm, you smell great!
You smell great and I will be trying that treat!
You smell awesome!
You smell great! Tried “diet” drinks and I couldn’t take the smell or the taste. That said, I am looking for monkfruit sweetened drinks but I think even that with an overabundance of monkfruit would probably be no bueno as well.
I am with you on the taste.. For some reason, the mix of Halo Top’s ice cream with Root Beer, tones down the synthetic taste.
I have more luck with Stevia than anything else.
I have had 2 espresso also..both doubles (wow!)
I could use a fourth espresso about now!
The snooze button! Yes, I love it, too!
One spritz of Cuir Beluga today, with gratitude for the recent split meet. I’m heading in to my actual *office* today, to download a bunch of GPS data, and it’s an excuse to wear a mini skirt and tights and my vintage suede boots. I love my working from home/working in the woods setup, but I miss some of my wardrobe! Covid booster was rescheduled for today, so fingers crossed that they don’t re-reschedule and that I don’t get walloped by side effects.
You smell lovely. :-). Your outfit sounds great! I miss dressing up for work. Good luck with booster!
It’s the shoes I miss the most — I don’t wear shoes in the house, and I can’t wear my Sezane pumps and 40s alligator heels for the mile-along-uneven-sidewalkless-pavement walk to school with my son, and outdoor work involves hiking shoes or fire boots, and date nights are few and far between, so most of my shoe wardrobe is languishing.
What a cute outfit. Best wishes with the booster, we’re getting ours tomorrow.
Thanks! It was administered by the gentlest nurse ever, so hopefully the next 24 hours will be likewise gentle!
Oooh, lucky you, getting someone who is good at giving shots!
He was cute, too!
wow..Inspired by your outfit
Ha ha, I look very chic from the neck down, but my hair is undermining me per usual.
Cute outfit! Good luck with the booster!
My Dr is rxing Onfi. I need to buy 2 medical helmets. Does anyone know where I could find one? Or a good brand? I have amazon’s choices and Mr. AP old boxing helmet???, but thought someone might know.
Still smell like Milky Musk from last night. Reminds me of Santal 33 and 10 Corso Como. Yum. Thanks, SpringPansy!
Maybe not the old boxing helmet. ;-). You smell nice!
Its hysterical! I look like a bobble head!
Love the idea of using the boxing helmet, but only if you paint something like “Slugger” on it. Maybe a picture of a fist. Really bling it out…
O. Bling it on!
I can Bevvy Goldberg it.?
“Bling it on” ha, ha, this is a great phrase for so many occasions!!
Don’t think I won’t!
Hope the rx helps. Milky Musk…yum
Thank you! It scares the stuffings out of me.
We’re twins (we need to count 24 hours). In any case, why a helmet and not a face shield?
True story…one of my nieces had to wear a helmet to school when she was younger and it had to be customized to be soft where the helmet meets her skull. Anyway, younger kids cannot be trusted to know the difference between touch her very lightly vs. touch her enough to cause a medical emergency. Her blood barely clotted and still doesn’t but she self-administers prophylactics on a very regular basis.
That must have been a challenge as a kid. And your whole family.
One type of seizure I get is a ‘drop’ seizure. I just fall, it is usually forward, but I can bounce off of things like the stairs. The other thing, I am very violent and the back of my head whacks against whatever I hit. A faceshield actually scares me. If I land or wake up face down, my breathing is like I’ve run a marathon.
Not everyone is as bad as me. And I’ve been good for a while. My med change is going to bring them back.
So sorry. Challenging and scary. Wishing you all the best–not only for your health and safety, but your enduring sanguinity.
Thank you. I feel sorrier for my belated parents and seeing me like this as an adult.
I appreciate your thoughtfulness.?
Oy. Good luck on the medical helmet!
Stuff happens. You waddle along with 8 sprays.
I’m so sorry to hear that, it does sound terrifying and makes me wish I could bundle you up in the most protective bubble wrap. Best of luck with the new medication and the quest for a good helmet!
That’s really kind. I’m ?the medicine works, safely. And just keeping safe in general.
Thank you, tulipani!
Good luck with your search. I don’t know about where you live but sometimes stores that sell at home mobility equipment ( like shower stools, walking sticks, non-slip stuff, sock grabbers, personal hygiene clothing etc etc) also stock medical helmets. Otherwise maybe the local epilepsy centre can put you in touch with a good supply store?
Thank you! Our medical store went out of business (I was a very loyal customer) but I will call the ep center.
Oh great – glad you got it and are wearing it. That’s interesting that it smells like Santal 33 to you – I don’t really like that one although I love Milky Musk. I can see the 10 Corso Como resemblance, but I also get fig. Best of luck with the helmet!
I’m just learning fig, so it could just be me. And I love sandalwood. Thanks!
The helmets let the grey’s grow in, right??
I did not know that medical helmets were A Thing. Good luck with your search!
After the last few, Mr. AP, took out said boxing helmet, which almost made me fall.? Its about 1/3 the size of me. I keep forgetting to look into it. ?
Wearing Rose Anonyme today, and loving it! Sometimes it’s a little overpowering, and sometimes it is just right. Only need 2 small sprays of it though.
Don’t tell Hajusuuri about your spray count.
Love that scent!
RA definitely has heft. I sometimes wear a tiny amount layered over Cuir Mauresque.
You smell GOOD today!
SOTD is Shalimar MVP thanks to a kind nster. I smell yummy.
I hope your week is going okay and not as heavy as last week. Sending a spring hug full of freesias and crocuses.
thank you Kanuka!
Currently in Coco Mademoiselle right now. It’s cold out and don’t want to do much today.
Hemming and hawing about whether I need another bottle of SL Sarrasins. Wearing it today to decide. Anyone smelled a recent bottle of this? Mine is old and I know jasmine has been restricted by IFRA so I worry about bad reformulation.
I have never tried that one, even when I had access to the original.
I say buy.
I had it. I didn’t love it and sold it.
The current version?
This is what happened with De Profundis, bought the current version and was disappointed.
yes, the current.
Get it. It might be different but who knows, it might be even better! (Let the perfume be the change you want to see etc.). Or you might have changed too and the new formulation might suit that. Or the weather might have changed and the new formulation might work well in a variable November. Or perhaps the new formulation will be a good bike ride scent? Or a good eclipse perfume? Can’t go wrong really ….maybe.
Enabler pin, as well!
I’ve never smelled it ( in any formulation) so don’t trust me.
Me neither. I’m just in a splurge mood.
The small sample I have of Sarrasins is probably an older formulation, so I can’t be of much help there.
Wearing a spritz of Mugler Supra Floral on a returning-to-grey day.
Oh, you smell great!! Wish I had a bottle of that.
It’s on fragrance net, last time I checked. ( yesterday)
MCMC Maine for me today… it’s unseasonably warm out and I have a headache so I needed something fresh and rose-y!
Hm, what to do for Friday… that’s a tricky one, lol.
For me, November in the NYC high 60’s is very strange!
It’s so confusing. I was visiting extended family in Buffalo NY last weekend and there was hail coming down. Now it feels like fall again. The weather is definitely one reason for my headache!
We got to 72 here…
That’s my sister’s favourite — I just bought her another bottle for Christmas!
It’s a longtime love for me, too! Just beautifully simple and so evocative of beach roses. Good staying power, too. (I have the oil.)
Wearing a big cloud of Dior Addict today and enjoying the windy sunshine.
Yay for a big cloud of Addict!
You go, girl!!
In Adam Levine…saw the bottle and remembered it as good for chilly weather. And…it’s kind of a CP compliant thing…if you follow the roundabout thinking that is my crazy brain. The name Maroon 5 was tickling something in my brain that made me think of space. So, off I went to IMDB and found the movie Marooned, with Gregory Peck from the 1960s. About astronauts marooned in space. Voila. Not exactly the moon, but spacey….
Getting my hair cut later today. Nothing new or drastic, but I need it a bit shorter than she did last time. My hair bugs me when it gets too far below my chin. Right now, it’s kissing my shoulders, which is just too irritating. Used to bug my mom…if I have any length to my hair I tend to run my hands through it more than I should. I basically need to be unaware that I have hair.
Getting a kick out of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha on Netflix, my latest K-drama. Trying to stay with just one episode a night. Just as in Crash Landing On You, the peripheral characters are a hoot.
How funny — I used to love having my hair just long enough to graze my shoulders. These days too many misbehaving grey hairs make that length very awkward. Does a pixie cut work for your face shape? That would definitely feel like (and be, probably) a lot less hair … but it might not keep your hands from running through it. ?
I’ve had so many different hair styles over the years. My attitude has always been…it grows back, so play with it. But…I’m feeling a bit more comfortable with some length because of my weight. If I lose my COVID weight (especially in my face) I may go shorter. I cut my hair short when I was in my 20s, and have never had it very long since then. I dislike spending any time on my hair.
I’m also into K-dramas right now. I have noticed an ongoing evolution to less and less grittiness in my tv/film viewing, and many K-dramas are fluffy in a way that I’m genuinely appreciating. A friend of mine, who loves all things gritty and troubling, often despairs of my current entertainment choices. I feel like I just don’t have the emotional wherewithal to deal with the irrationality of the world I live in while simultaneously watching an equally if not more insane world as entertainment.
I just finished Vincenzo, which was quite enjoyable, with many of those amusing peripheral characters (although the series is not quite as fluffy as CLoY) you mentioned.
I also like that not everything is always tied up in a neat bow (as in Hallmark). But I too have lost taste for really dark.
My hairdresser complimented me on my scent. This thing is a powerhouse, given I had sprayed it a few hours before. I told her I’d make her a little decant.
Adam Levine is a soft sandalwood scent, right?
I spent yesterday in Baikal Leather Intense, and meant to spritz some Irish Leather today after seeing it mentioned yesterday … but the hand went to Indochine this morning instead. No regrets. ?
never any regrets with Indochine.
I was up early, in time to see the first rays of sun hit the hills and cast them in bright orange light. So stunning. I am willing all the clouds to go so I can see the eclipse tonight ( 8.30-10.30pm ish). Wearing sun on one wrist and cloud on the other, will see who wins.
We will be up at 1am to view the eclipse – hope we both get cloudless skies!
Good luck, you might need coffee to stay awake! I keep thinking of how the earth is going to pass directly between the moon and the sun ( and cast its shadow on the moon) and it kind of makes me feel like I’m part of a Little Prince storyline. Special and whimsical and amazing all at the same time.
Yes – and I think too of the Elizabethan idea of the “Cosmic Dance” with all the “spheres” in order! I am planning on watching from the Midwestern USA.
I wish we were having a clear night here, since we have areas with absolutely no lights to interfere. Alas, we are quite overcast.
Sounds pretty. I need to find my time zone’s time. Wording
I hope Sun wins!
Trying to survive Week 13 of the semester and figure out whether I will be giving a truckload of incompletes at semester’s end (mid-December), or a truckload of F’s. The incompletes are likely to end up as F’s, anyway, so that option will just prolong everyone’s misery.
Dzongkha today. It was rainy but mild when I left the house this morning, but the cold is settling in. Time for another spray.
You smell great.
Guerlain Tonka Imperial today.
Called the Vegas Guerlain boutique yesterday to ask about future shipments of MVP. They are not anticipating any and in fact, never expected to get it in the first place. It’s still available in Europe but none of the shops carrying it ship to the US. ?
Oopsie! Wrong spot!
I love the update nonetheless lol!
My sentiments exactly.
Did you call the Disney Epcot boutique?
Friday and the sun is shining – yay! Guerlain’s Chant d’Arômes will suit nicely
You smell wonderful – I am a big Chant d’Aromes fan. I was house-twin with Chamade for some morning tasks but post-shower switched up to Mandarine Mandarin for “official” SotD.
Ambre Des Merveilles for me today.
You smell delicious.
Seconded. You smell wonderful!
Wearing lots of Iris Dragees today. We are going for pre-flight covid tests today, I’m a bit nervous about it.
Thank you, Kelly!
You smell great! Don’t worry, the tests will go fine.
Thank you! Back home now. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.
Where are you flying to?
We are going to the condo in Florida. I’m taking my bottle of Aromatics Elixir to apply liberally as a forcefield around me to deter any people who may wander too close. Hajusuuri-8-spray levels will definitely be required!
Safe travels, and hope your results are negative!
Thank you, Jalapeno! Me too, otherwise we can’t fly!
Been a crazy week. So far I’ve worn No. 18, Kalemat Arabian Oud, Cuir Ottoman. Today I am in Grand Soir. Feeling cozy!
Nacho made it home yesterday. We are relieved he is home. He’s on a strict schedule of meds, crate rest, short walks, and a little snuggle time, but at least he is finally home.
I have two girlfriends coming to visit me this weekend. I’m excited to see them for a few days then we also have company coming Wednesday for Thanksgiving weekend. Fun times but will be busy.
So happy your baby is home! Healing vibes.
Such good news that Nacho is back home! And enjoy your upcoming visits; it will be great!
So glad your pup is back with you.
Hurray for Nacho being back at home with you!
So glad your pupster is home and recuperating!
Yay, thanks for the great update on Nacho. Sending him many healing vibes, I’m sure he is so happy to be home.
Wonderful news! So happy for you and your Nacho.
Wearing three perfumes at the moment: Heure Exquise, Ella and Music for a While. It’s not a great combo. I put on HE this morning, it agrees so well with autumnal weather. The other two are just my 2 latest purchases. I’ve been coveting Ella for a while and been intrigued with MfaW even longer, and was able to obtain Ella at a discount and the other with a birthday voucher. Only got the small travelspray of the Malle as I admire it more than I love it, but it is such an interesting lavender that I did feel the need to own a little more than just a sample. Had a nice day at the office, I seem to be rapidly becoming the department clown, a role I am enjoying a lot.
In terms of office roles, being the clown seems like a great place to be from my standpoint.
I did not fall in love with Music either, and doubt I will ever even drain my sample. I still need to try Ella!
It’s a great chypre, not as opulent as L’Ame perdue, but curvy nevertheless, plus it has that hint of decay that I so love in a perfume. (like the original Diorella does, in a way)
In a combo of Cloud body spray and Gucci Memoire. Really nice, actually!
Busy week with doing the hardware store at night and working the regular job during the day- and somehow we are even more weirdly busier during the day, even though we will be laid off. I have mild leg and back soreness from standing on concrete floors- but I have really good men’s running shoes with arch support and treading ( Adidas Boost if you are interested) and they are so helpful.
Two 2nd interviews today – WOO HOO!
And my hard cider project is a WIN. Secondary fermentation in the bottles did well; the finished product is semi dry, with an apple/floral nose and a gentle effervescence. So some bottles will be making it to Thanksgiving with friends!
Thanks for reporting back on the cider – it sounds like a lot of work so I’m happy you have share-worthy batch!
Yay! And yes- I will be insufferable, I think but my friends will enjoy!
Wow, that really must be a long day! Glad you found the perfect shoes.
Congrats on the cider success!
Oo fun! I love good hard cider, and accidentally made some in my refrigerator recently (but tossed it as it smelled too brettanomyces-ish).
Oh yes- wild yeasts can start fermenting apple juice if left untended, and you get a scrumpy that is a bit TOO rustic.
The cider sounds delightful! And ever more so because you made it!
I am ridiculously proud!
I’m wearing Ambar del Sur from Carner.
Blergh. Blergh day for me. Cheered myself up somewhat with a decant selection I picked from a box without looking, which turned out to be Dior’s Milly la Foret. To my nose, it smells like a slightly more refined and accessible Mure et Musc. Proof that my nose is useless. When I looked up the notes I found nary a berry in sight. I guess I should stick to my day job.
I think random selections are a wonderful way to make a choice! Sorry about the blergh…
May the bleurghs pass quickly! Maybe the evening will bring some coziness to offset the bleurghness? (Also, I guess I spell “bleurgh” with a “u” because, what, I’m half French?)
“But of course,” I say in my best French accent. Also, bleurghness just makes the point better.
I’m in Shalimar MVP today from the split meet. Really hoping Guerlain releases more of this early next year. How about it gents, say in February? Right before my birthday? M-kay, thanks! ?
Hope they are listening!
Philtre has been popping in and out of fragrance net. Maybe they will have some MVP by February.
I am so excited about seeing the eclipse, but blanking on the CP. Well, I will enjoy reading everyone else’s choices even if I don’t get inspired. I was in a dark sky area last week and saw the Milky Way for the first time in decades as well as Venus shining over and on the Gulf of Mexico. SotD Mandarine Mandarin; it is a big love for me and is my one SL bell jar. Maybe there is a tie-in with the orange color of an eclipse of the Moon?
So…you’re all excited to see the eclipse and you’re about to head outside — what would you like to be smelling as you look up?
Heartbreakingly beautiful weather today for me. Not a cloud to be seen in a brilliant blue sky, with gentle warm breezes and temps around 70 degrees F. No humidity, either. It seems like a wonderful daydream.
So, of course, I went grocery shopping. ? Honestly, though, I would much rather do that task in nice weather instead of dodging rain or snow.
Pretty sure that my area won’t see the eclipse.
SOTD = ELdO’s Rien, from the sample stash. Still liking this one!
The weather was gorgeous. And if you enjoyed the grocery shopping without getting sopping wet, not such a bad day. Especially if you snuck in some snacks.
Heh, of course there were a couple of snacks on the list! But unfortunately, it looks like I might have forgotten to put a couple things ON my list to begin with. Rats!
Lucky you with the weather! Blow it back this way. I am getting snow!
Oooof! Wish I could! I am getting cold , windy and yucky tomorrow, so some of your weather is trying to come over here. ?
Snow twins! It’s been an awful weather week here.
It was indeed beautiful today: we hit 72F here with no humidity!
I also prefer doing errands when I also don’t have to deal with the nasty elements.
Yep we were wonderful weather twins today! ????
I just spoke with some friends who are in Montreal. I had some Zoologist samples sent to them (well, taken by a friend from Toronto) and they were all excited about trying them (including one from Barcelona). So that was kind of a pick-me-up for me! (just from being mostly shut in at home).
My SOTD is MFK Baccarat Rouge 540. It’s among the nice sample set of best-sellers I ordered from Twisted Lily. I like it but don’t love it. I’ll give Interlude Black Iris another try later, but my first try was not a success. I’ve heard the word “jammy” used before as a criticism without quite getting it, but now I know when to use it and why. Ew!
And I always viewed “jammy” as something chewy good!
Wearing Smell Bent Sunshine, which is creamsicle at first then mostly creamy sandalwood. Lovely and easy to wear.
That sounds like a good perfume to chase away the winter doldrums! Because yeah, Winter Is Coming!
Yes, and a 4ml travel spray is only $8! I’ll definitely replace mine when I run out.
I’m trying to think of I have this — it sounds wonderful!
I bet you would like it!
No SOTD for me today; I spent most of the day in bed, asleep and shivering. Got my booster shot late yesterday, so this was expected (I had a similar reaction to my 2nd shot). I’m so glad to have gotten it before the holidays really get under way! I’ll see if I feel more inspired tomorrow for the CP.
Congrats on getting your booster! Hope that you are feeling all right tomorrow…
Oy, hope you’re back to normal soon!
Oh, I hope you’re feeling better. I’m very empathic because I had the shivers too and it was no fun but like you, I’m grateful to be boosted
Chiming in late after a busy day at work AND a migraine. I wore Coromandel today because it was chilly in the morning, and I’m glad it didn’t really bother me during my migraine.
I won’t be able to stay up late enough to watch the eclipse tonight, but I plan on popping out to look at the moon later.
Sorry for your migraine. You smell wonderful!
You smell beautiful! Nice choice.
The moon is bright and full here, now. I’m hoping to catch it, too.
SOTD = Parle Moi de Parfum Milky Musk
Thanks to springpansy’s split! It is a lovely woody musk. I smelled it better when I was outside (? 2 mile walk) and I actual smelled cedar and not sandalwood. Regardless, I love the perfume.
In other news:
(I will finish unboxing it this weekend … there were a lot of cardboard layers!)
Isn’t that a nice perfume? I’ll have to sniff cedar and compare.
Oh yay! Such pretty packaging!
Wow, you must post more photos when you unwrap it. I love the hanging tag, so fancy!
How exquisite! Enjoy unwrapping everything!
I went to the dentist this morning to have my permanent crown put on. It turns out my tooth wouldn’t hold it, so I ended up with an unexpected root canal and post. I have been out of commission most of the day. My face is very swollen. I wore Dior Addict, just one spray.
Ow ow ow ow! Sending you some virtual ice cream! And hugs, if you can tolerate those.
What a rotten day, lillyjo! Great choice with Addict. Hope you are feeling better.
Oh, I’m so sorry! I hope you feel better very quickly!
