Bvlgari Omnia Golden Citrine ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 10 February 2020 24 Comments

Bvlgari has launched Omnia Golden Citrine, a flanker to the original Omnia (the latest was Omnia Pink Sapphire).

Omnia Golden Citrine Eau de Toilette is a radiant floral inspired by the Golden Citrine, the gemstone of light and optimism. Crafted by Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas, it is a luminous and solar fragrance built around the iconic ylang-ylang flower. For a limited time only, experience Omnialandia with this absolutely chic and whimsical packaging that will take you on an enchanting adventure.

Additional notes include mandarin and benzoin.

Bvlgari Omnia Golden Citrine available now at Macy's, $86 for 65 ml Eau de Toilette. (25 and 40 ml sizes will probably follow.)

I know the box should be the least important element of a scent, but that carton is really doing it for me. Who knows how it’s going to smell, but this might be the first Omnia flanker actually worth checking out in years (or I might be delusional).

I will probably try it too…we might both be delusional.

I had the same thought about that box!

Which once again points out the impact of marketing/packaging.

And I will definitely try if I see it!

Adding a day later — looks like a bunch of the Omnias are out in this limited edition packaging at the moment!

I love the packaging. Luminous floral with ylang ylang sounds very interesting!

It does…more appealing than the last few.

I’m holding out for the depressing grocery store carnation Omnia.

I think you are having a good time, where you are.

I would love a perfume line with depressing fragrances. It would make for a nice change from all this upbeat sexy stuff.

    I agree–that box is lovely.
But, those bottles have always annoyed me.

I like Omnia, Amythyste, and Crystalline but dislike those clunky, space consuming, cheap looking bottles enough not to repurchase. Shame since you can find all the Omnias online and at Ross for cheap.

I agree. I own one and absolutely hate the bottle.

I like the Omnia bottle in yellow. I have wished for an emerald green bottle for years.

Embarrassed to admit I have never smelled a single Omnia. Not original, a flanker. Am I missing out?

The original is very good. The rest are a bit hit and miss. I like Crystalline and Paraiba, but have not tried all of the others.

I like the Omnia Coral and have a travel spray of it. It has a wonderful hibiscus tea top note in it. If this new one came in 10mL, it would be very tempting.

I liked the Coral, too, but it only lasts 5 min on me, so I never sprung for a full bottle.

We can be embarassed together because I also haven’t smelled any in the Omnia line. I have considered blind buying Omnia though since it gets a lot of love here.

I’m not sure I would call any of the Omnias a safe blind buy, FWIW.
