Lush Goddess ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 6 February 2019 8 Comments

Lush will launch Goddess, a new fragrance. The matching bath bomb, released last year, was reportedly inspired by Ariana Grande's "God Is a Woman" music video.

An evocative, enigmatic oudh perfume, with oudh from responsibly managed nurseries in Thailand. Smoky Caledonian sandalwood adds dark warmth to rich, resinous notes, while sensual jasmine beguiles. Damascus rose, harvested in Turkish fields at dawn, brings just a hint of floral delicacy. The result is opulent and beguiling.

Additional notes include osmanthus.

Lush Goddess will be available in 30 ml Perfume, 15 ml Perfume Oil or 6g Solid Perfume. In addition to the bath bomb, there is also a matching wash card and soap.

We have a Lush in downtown SF but I never see perfume sprays in their stores. I wonder why? This does sound interesting though!

Not every US store has the scents, and the 2 stores near me have them, but keep them in a corner, and never have the full range.

Much easier to find in UK as I understand it.

And adding, for anyone in the US who is interested in Goddess, often takes a year or more for UK scents to get here, and some never do!

If you’re willing to brave the South Bay, I think the Stanford Shopping Center has the perfume sprays, and I’m 100 % sure the one in the Westfield in San Jose has it. But the mall in San Jose is soul-crushing, so idk if that’s worth it.

Oh Flying Fox, where art thou?

      Yeah.

Flying Fox was a bit over the top for me — I liked it but did not go through vast quantities. But every other jasmine shower gel is too wimpy. I wish I’d bought another Flying Fox and mixed it with something. If they ever bring it back, that is my plan.

I live in fear they will discontinue Happy Hippy! That is my staple.

Pssst. A backup bottle is hiding in my bathroom cabinet; pretty sure I’ll need to use it up soon. 😢
