Armani Prive Bleu Turquoise & Bleu Lazuli ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 17 January 2018 6 Comments

Giorgio Armani has launched Bleu Turquoise and Bleu Lazuli, new unisex woody fragrances inspired by India. Bleu Turquoise and Bleu Lazuli join Rouge Malachite and Vert Malachite in La Collection Des Terres Precieuses, in the Armani Privé fragrance range.

Bleu Turquoise ~ "Bleu Turquoise offers a journey through fragrance - crossing borders it infuses Italy, the heart of Giorgio Armani’s creativity, with India’s spirit. Infused with key notes drawn from the scent of incense and Indian spice markets, evocative of the country’s fusion of the spiritual with every aspect of life." Developed by perfumer Aurélien Guichard, with vanilla and light salt notes. [Update via Neiman Marcus ~ "A woody floral eau de parfum brought to life with notes of incense and an addictive salted vanilla."]

Bleu Lazuli ~ "Bleu Lazuli offers a journey through fragrance - crossing borders it infuses Italy, the heart of Giorgio Armani’s creativity, with India’s spirit. Infused with key notes drawn from the scent of incense and Indian spice markets, evocative of the country’s fusion of the spiritual with every aspect of life." Developed by perfumer Pascal Gaurin, with tobacco, mate tea and osmanthus. [Update via Neiman Marcus ~ "An oriental woody eau de parfum brought to life as a sensual & mysterious honeyed tobacco."]

Armani Privé Bleu Turquoise and Bleu Lazuli are $310 each for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Gorgeous bottles. But they better be, for that price.

Well, for that price they could have started with writing more distinct description for each perfume.

No kidding. There is literally nothing on the GA website to tell you what they smell like. There are descriptions of the stones, though — that’s clearly what they want to sell the product.

Beautiful bottles! I would give Bleu Turquoise a try for the vanilla and salt notes, but those prices make them impossible for me to think about.

The bottles are stunning. Would buy these for that reason alone. Just wish that they weren’t so pricey.
