Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2017, part 2

Posted by Robin on 27 January 2017 10 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today's post includes limited edition bottles from Hermès, Guerlain, Gucci and Acqua di Parma, plus a new concentration of Dior Poison Girl.

Hermès Terre d'Hermès edition H

From Hermès, the latest Flacon H edition of Terre d'Hermès. In 100 ml Eau de Toilette at Nocibe in France.

Guerlain Ambre Eternel collector

From Guerlain, a collector bottle of Ambre Eternel decorated with a calligraphy label. €153 for 125 ml Eau de Parfum at Guerlain in France.

Flora by Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia limited edition

From Gucci, Flora by Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia done up by Alessandro Michele: "The scent is tinted a radiant modern pop pink that is also beautifully executed in a new outer carton, where it meets the flora and fauna of the botanical Flora print." $78 for 50 ml at Sephora.

Acqua di Pama Peonia Nobile leather purse spray

From Acqua di Pama, Peonia Nobile in a hot pink leather purse spray. £90 for 20 ml at Harrods in the UK.

Dior Poison Girl EdT

From Christian Dior, a new Eau de Toilette version of Poison Girl: "Poison Girl is a floral gourmand that seduces with a fruity floral top note and the addictive base. Its appeal to the senses plays on a bold blend between contrasting raw materials. A pairing of icy-cool and juicy oranges complement each other while armfuls of sensual flowers introduce a spirited hot-and-cold ambiance. Last, tonka bean and vanilla notes spread their sensual and bittersweet caress. This Poison Girl breaks the ice, mastering the allure she has." Available at Macy's, in 50 and 100 ml.

it would have been better if the Gucci Flora had the flower print on the bottle itself. I like the original edp but I haven’t sniffed this one so I don’t know what it’s like. but if I were to buy this I’d have to keep the box. that’s a step too far though to buy it just for the box ;)

and £90 for 20ml of the Aqua di Parma? bargain 8O

They did the same thing with Gucci Bamboo — much cheaper, I guess, to just tint the juice and decorate the box.

I actually like all of these though I suspect Poison Girl is not as arresting in real life.

Probably not, but I just love all the Poison bottles.

Did the US ever get the original Poison Girl? I missed it entirely. I guess I get to try the edt at Macy’s though. ^_^

Honestly I can’t remember — I reviewed it and now can’t even remember where I got my sample.

Don’t know if you will see this, but no, the EdP has not been distributed here (and does not look like they have plans to at the moment), and per WWD this one is pretty different, more of a gourmand.

The Acqua di Parma Peonia Nobile looks really cute! Of all the bottles I have, I don’t have a single Acqua di Parma.

I own the original Iris Nobile, that’s it.
