Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2016, part 10

Posted by Robin on 21 August 2016 6 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US. Today's post includes collector bottles from Hermès, Yves Saint Laurent, Tory Burch and Tom Ford.

Hermès Eau des Merveilles collector 2016

From Hermès, a limited edition of Eau des Merveilles: "With its bold lines in dazzling silver, this constellation suspended at the core of the Eau des Merveilles magnifying bottle invites us to follow our own star of destiny." $146 for 100 ml Eau de Toilette at Bloomingdales.

Yves Saint Laurent Sparkle & Clash Black Opium

From Yves Saint Laurent, the Sparkle & Clash edition of Black Opium: "This Black Opium Sparkle & Clash Edition, which is exclusive to Bloomingdale’s, is layered with over 100 Swarovski crystals." $74 for 90 ml Eau de Toilette at Bloomingdales.

Tory Burch Fret Frenzy

From Tory Burch, the Fret Frenzy edition of her signature perfume: "The first Tory Burch fragrance, in a limited-edition, metallic golden fretwork bottle. The scent captures classic elements in unexpected ways. Feminine and tomboy. Easy and polished. Floral peony and tuberose blend with crisp citrus notes of grapefruit and neroli—anchored by earthy vetiver. Presented in a signature orange box, it's a super-chic addition to a vanity." $125 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum at Bloomingdales.

Tom Ford Black Orchid and Velvet Orchid travel atomizers

From Tom Ford, travel atomizers in Black Orchid and Velvet Orchid: "Sized for efficient travel, the sleek, art deco-inspired atomizer is perfectly portable in your purse. In a refined, gold-tone case, it's designed to be the elegant statement accessory to your signature fragrance." $250 for three x 6.2 ml, available for pre-order at Bergdorf Goodman.

Always love the Hermes bottles. Wish they’d do one for L’Ambre, my vote for best in show (though I could use an Eau refresher.)

And I still wish they’d do a coffret of all the EdMs in little bottles — if the bottles were like the one above, all the better 🙂

I should point out that you can do your own coffret now since they’re making everything in the discovery sets. So I guess I should not complain…

Lazy times at Tom Ford : they revive the old Black Orchid Lalique bottle as a special edition & now they revive the old style atomisers from before they moved to the larger brown lacquered ones. I always hated these atomisers as they only held 6ml & only came with 3 refills

LOVE That Tory Burch Bottle. It’s a Full-Size Interpretation of the Pure Parfum Extrait Bottle that sells for like $300 some odd dollars! SO PRETTY!
