Amouage Journey ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 5 May 2014 14 Comments

Amouage Journey

Niche line Amouage will launch Journey, the brand's first fragrance duo since 2013's Amouage Fate.

Amouage Journey Man ~ a spicy woods with Sichuan pepper, bergamot, cardamom, neroli bigarade, juniper berries, incense, geraniol, tobacco, tonka bean, cypriol, leather and ambrox.

Amouage Journey Woman ~ a fruity floral leather with apricot, jasmine tea, osmanthus, nutmeg, cardamom, jasmine, mimosa, honey, cedar, pipe tobacco, saffron, vanilla, cypriol and musk.

I will update with sizes and concentrations when I can, but generally Amouage does 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

(via The Real Amouage Page at Facebook)

Update: Amouage Journey is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I’m a sucker for a fruity floral so, I want to try this. I know that so many of the NST responders really enjoy Amouage fragrances. I have tried to embrace the others, but there just isn’t any that really stands out to me. Maybe this will be the one.

Well, if you do like it, it will cost you 🙂

Journey for Woman sounds especially interesting to me!
I love the red bottle with golden sides and top. Now I wonder if it’s opaque like Lyric, or matte, or red lacquer. Hard to tell from the Amouage visual.

I love osmanthus, so that one appeals to me too.

Ouch! Journey woman sounds just so, so good. It’s almost scary since I *do* have a deep yearning for an osmanthus, apricot and jasmine leathery perfume. My aunt bought an osmanthus plant last year and my nose started dreaming.

In the press release, I cannot find one single note to dislike, or that does not seem to fit perfectly with the others.
But I am wise and know better than to get all excited by a list of notes, do I?
    Oh, my, I *am* excited!!!!!

LOL…getting excited won’t make you like it any better or worse, so why not?

Both of these sound good! I am definitely an Amouage fan. I’m waiting for my Osmanthus shrub to bloom this summer for the first time. (I also just test-drove The Different Company’s Osmanthus, which is wonderful!)

I’m really excited and hope I won’t be disappointed if/when I try these. Almost all the notes are calling to me. I am a fervent cardamom lover.

I just sent an email to my local perfum shop asking them to let me know when they get samples in!

Yes, even the spices they chose sound perfect: love both cardamom and nutmeg!
I am jealous of your O. shrub ;)!
Let us know when it blooms!
I must give the TDC Osmanthus a try…

Jonette, I wore TDC Osmanthus today, coincidentally. I’ve never smelled the real thing, but I do love the TDC. It’s also a wonderfully versatile perfume; I’ve worn it at any time of the year except the coldest depths of winter.

I am looking forward to trying this. I like several Amouage and several are FBW. The ones I don’t like are still interesting. From the notes, this sounds like another love….

A fruity floral leather with those notes! Amouage is trying its best to absorb my entire perfume budget. I wonder who is the perfumer for this one?

I can see another pilgrimage to Our Lady of the Scented Wrists in my future. . . I’m about due to pay another tithe in any case!
