Posted by Robin on 15 March 2013 121 Comments — Comments are closed

Lush Furze range

What is it: 7 ml minis of Lush Furze, Sikkim Girls and Flower's Barrow, plus a 15 ml lab bottle of L’Artisan Parfumeur Caligna, plus samples of Lubin Korrigan, Galaad and Akkad.

How do I get it: For a chance to win, leave a comment on the website telling me that you live in the US. Then tell me either a) your favorite L'Artisan Parfumeur fragrance or b) your latest cool product discovery c) something else you've been dying to post in a comment.

Be sure to use the “Post a comment” box; do not reply to another comment! All replies to comments will be deleted!

The contest will be open until noon or so on Tuesday, and I'll announce the winner on Wednesday.

The fine print: Don't enter the contest unless I have permission to use the email address in your reader account to contact you. If the email address in your reader account is incorrect, you might want to fix it. If you are the winner and you fail to send me your mailing details within a couple weeks, I’ll give your prize away to someone else. Sadly, it sometimes usually takes me a month to mail a package. Reasonable care will be taken in the packaging and mailing of your prize, but if the contents are lost or damaged or fail to please you for any reason whatsoever, I’m sorry but I cannot replace them.

Hey Robin:). I live in the U.S. and you have permission to use my e-mail. I’d love to try these! As the products I’ve tried from each house impress me. But haven’t tried these. My fave L’artisan is Drole de Rose, my first niche bottle purchase. It’s my fave rose/violet combo. Such a nice scent. Thanks for the draw!

It is hard to decide since I love L’Artisan, but if I really have to pick one, then — Dzongkha.

I live in the US and of course you have permission to use my email. 🙂

    1) L’Artisan is kind of a hit-or-miss house for me, but my favorites so far are Safran Troublant and Timbuktu. I’ve been wanting to try Caligna. The idea of fig and jasmine marmalade sounds nice.

    2) I’ve only recently tried any Lush products, but I really like the Grass and Flying Fox shower gels. I could kind of see owning bottles of both of them and switching back and forth depending on how I’m feeling on any given day. And my SOTD is The Smell of Freedom. An SA at the Lush in Macy’s here said that they’re going to be getting a bigger selection of perfumes. The only one she mentioned specifically is Sikkim Girls, but I’m excited to see what they get.

L’Artisan is one of my favorite perfume houses, so it’s hard to pick a favorite! If you forced me, I’d have to say Passage d’Enfer, but there are so many good ones! I recently acquired Timbuktu and love that one also.

I live in the US! I love many L’artisans but for the moment I am loving Seville A’L the most! My latest product discovery: Target has a special Orla Kiely Method dish soap (and a few other cleaning products but I have only tried the dish soap)- that smell of Tomato Leaf- it is lovely to wash dishes by hand with (the only way mine get done in a home sans dishwasher).

I live in the good ole’ USA, in Alabama. I love L’Artisan, never thinking that I would love a particular line so much as I do I have 13, 13 bottles-everything from La Chasse de Pappillions to Al Oudh! I love tea for two and Timbuktu and SAFRAN Troublant. They all HAVE BEEN BLIND BUYS !

  31. gatorgirl says:

Hi Robin! Thanks for the draw. I live in the U.S.

I love L’Artisan, and have found very few I dislike. My favorites, so far, are probably Seville a L’Aube and La Chasse Aux Papillons (the edt). I also tried the Chasse Extreme and really didn’t care for it. Makes me wonder why they feel the need to tweak the notes when they do an extreme version rather than just amp it up.

Hi. I live in the US and you have permission to use my email. Sadly, I am not very familiar with the L’Artisan Fragrances. There was a time when I wore Mure et Musc, 15 years ago,and I loved it. I don’t even know if they make it anymore. I recently tried Timbuktu, but it did not win me over. I did recently get a decant of Tea For Two and I absolutely adored it! But, they do not make it any more:( My latest exciting finds are Absolute Pour Le Soir and Un Jardin sur le Nil. Opposite ends of the spectrum I know!!

My favorite L’Artisan to wear is Nuit de Tubereose. I live in the US, and you can use my email. I really like Dzing!, though I have a FB of Bulgari Black and it seems redundant to own both. I am really depressed by some radiant wood (??) in others like Timbuktu, Mure et Musc, and Dzonkha that just ruin them for me. I can’t smell anything else for about 3 days, and it sticks to my clothes like crazy, too. I wish I knew just what it was so I can avoid it!

I live in the US and you can use my email. My favorite L’Artisan is still my first niche bottle, Poivre Piquant. I think I will go put some on now to warm up,it is gray, rainy and chilly here after a couple days of sunshine and 60+ degrees. Spring is schizophrenic here in the PNW.
I am impatiently waiting for a sample order.

I live in the US. My latest “product discovery” is… fragranced hand soap! I used to use only unscented or minimally-scented versions, but after being gifted a rather nice bottle I’ve discovered that this stuff is great for a little happy boost throughout the day!

I live in the US, you can use my email, and my favorite L’Artisans are Dzing! and Passage d’Enfer. Lately, though, I just long to be at the beach all the time, so am wearing Cote d’Amour daily. Thanks for the drawing!

I bought Artisan’s Timbuktu as my second bottle of perfume ever. I find that my tastes are now for softer or more femine scents, but I still have enough of it to spray on if I am feeling like a change. My mother loves the Vanille that I guess they have stopped making. I have tried many others of their and will look forward to smelling Calingna, whenever I come across it. I like the descriptions so far.

I live in the USA and I made one of my most darling friends at the launch of Nuit de Tubereuse in NYC. That night found two new things to love! Latest product discovery is Nubian Heritage Shea Butter body lotion in original fragrance, which, incidentally reminds me of L’Artisan’s Poivre Piquant with its milky spice notes. It absorbs instantly and leaves skin feeling plush and plumped up (in a good way!).
