Nobody comments on this. Is it because everybody is stunned by the result, or it’s just nobody really cares? lol

It’s hard to know what to say. Why is Lola getting yet another award? Great bottle, nondescript scent. CK Free doesn’t even have a great bottle. FdB is ‘new’ only in the sense that it’s a reformulation and repackaging. It’s nice to see A Scent pick up an award, but it’s pretty much the same as a dozen dry green scents that came out last year. The only one that excited me was Pegasus, because I like it and it’s genuinely niche outside of Italy. But Lola? Sheesh.

Lola & Free were consumer choices…pretty much proves that consumers will also pick dull mainstream scents if given the choice!

Another award for Lola… oh, well.

At least I like A Scent by Issey Miyake a lot, and Etro Pegasus is quite nice.

Did not think Etro Pegaso was the best niche scent of 2009, but it was really nice. And it’s Italian, which I assume helps.

Oh Lola…anything is possible isn’t it? Big dreams with a mediocre stink
