An alluring and sophisticated fragrance

Posted by Robin on 15 September 2009 26 Comments

For me, fragrance reflects a woman's attitude and unique sense of style. While I love various perfumes, I haven't found a scent that truly personifies me as a woman. Working with Coty, I was able to turn my ideal fragrance into a reality by creating an alluring and sophisticated fragrance; one that's reflective of my inner power. It's a true privilege to be working with Coty and I can't wait to share this personal side of me with fans all across the world.

— Beyoncé, in the press release announcing her fragrance licensing deal with Coty. Look for the first fragrance to appear early next year. (via prnewswire)

First she was the pitchwoman for Hilfiger’s True Star, next up was Armani’s Diamonds, and now a deal with Coty for her own? Beyonce, Beyonce….how can we possibly miss you if you never actually go away? Yawn.

LOL…but presumably those 2 earlier scents established her selling power :-)

So I guess Armani Diamonds didn’t do it for her? :D

I think we grow very very tired of those suppose to be “glamourios” celebrity perfumes. They all dissapoint anyway. And stink! I wish Madonna don’t go there…she is to clever for that! U hope…haha..

I’m really surprised Madonna has held out. We’ll see if she continues to do so :-)

She should release a fragrance that she can spray in her mouth. Ive heard rumors she has horrible breathe. Actually on a serious note, I think celebrity fragrances are becoming much better quality these days, so Beyonce’s might be half decent.

I don’t know if she went w/ Coty Beauty or Coty Prestige. If it’s Prestige, that’s hopeful.

I’m not a fan of celebriscents or of R&B music. However, from what little trickles down to me under my rock, it seems that Beyonce is one of the classier and more decent celebs around. I hope they do something nice!

Sorry! Trying to think if any Coty Beauty scents end up in Macys…usually it’s Kohls & mass market stores though.

Well anything’s got to be better than True Star. What a yawner that was. ;) And I don’t know. Halle is really nice for the price, so there’s hope.

True Star is actually one of my favorite fragrances. It was my first fragrance ever.

Robin, the President of Coty Beauty has a quote in the press release, but does that really mean she signed with COTY Beauty? Does COTY Prestiege have a different president??

No, I know it’s Coty Beauty because of an article over at Cosmetic News.

Me too. I think Beyonce is truly talented and a decent person. I love that she is an incredible triple threat. Someone who can dance like a gazelle, sing notes that seem impossible, and act like an Oscar winner, is so rare these days. She’s one of a kind. I hope, hope, hope, she has good taste and won’t settle for something sub-par.

I wonder what ” Angelina Joli” would smell like? hehehe

You know I read somewhere that Love IN White by Creed was created with Angelina in mind. It does contain notes from different parts of the world.Which I find funny because she supposedly wears Bulgari Black.
