Kenzo Les Eaux de Fleur Collection ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 2 September 2008 9 Comments

Kenzo Fleur The Collection, Soie perfume

Kenzo has launched Les Eaux de Fleur, a trio of limited edition floral fragrances for women:

Eau De Fleur de Soie (shown) ~ "the silk flower", a floral with fruity accents; developed by perfumer Jean Jacques.

Eau De Fleur de Thé ~ "the tea flower", a floral infusion with green tea and musky notes. Developed by perfumer Aurelien Guichard.

Eau De Fleur de Magnolia ~ "the magnolia flower", a luminous floral with citrus notes. Developed by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian.

The three Kenzo Fleur Collection fragrances are available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette; I'll update with more detailed notes when I can find them. They are available now in Asia and at Sephora in France; no idea when they'll make their way to the US. (via sephora.fr, additional information via royalliving.com.tw)

Update: see a review of the Eau de Fleur collection.

I would love to try those. Also, separate from how anyone feels about the juice, I think the Kenzo aesthetic in terms of their individual bottle design and the consistency of the design for the brand is teriffic. It's clean and … not expensive looking, but not *cheap* looking either. I think their packaging is really good.

Gorgeous design as usual, par Kenzo.

Of course, another beautiful design and a great-sounding fragrance from Kenzo. I LOVE the bottle, I LOVE the idea, I am hoping it will be available in the US! I' a big tea drinker, lemme smell that tea flower!!!

I look forward to all of Kenzo's new bottles, and I'm hoping these flowers will have the same ironic ethos as Flower itself, ie cleverly artificial. Have you sniffed Vintage yet, R? I haven't see it anywhere so far.

I hope it will get here too, they've got potential. Just hoping they're not too light.

Smelled it & reviewed it (see link on left sidebar). Nice, but not outstanding IMHO.

I have a real soft spot for Kenzo. Like others, I love their packaging and I think their fragrances are pretty good value – they don't smell at all cheap and I can usually pick them up much reduced on the internet.
Been buying up giant bottles of 'Summer' cheap off the internet (golden leaf shaped bottle) and dowsing myself in it for the last few months! So much so I've now run out :-D And I've generally got a bottle of 'Flower' lurking around for girlie days.
Would really like to give all of these a try. When they start appearing cheap on-line I'll probably end up buying at least one unsmelled!

I have a soft spot for Kenzo too — they seem less cynical than some of the other perfume brands.
