I always find something about James Franco rather goofy, even when he's trying to be dark and mysterious.

What is going on with me? First Justin Timberlake in a pretentious nouveau abstract chair, and now James Franco stalking penthouse hallways and broodily reciting song lyrics… And I am now adding Gucci by Gucci to my must-sniff list, because though my world is changing? He will be? The same!

Yes. I think it's a little bit of that Freaks and Geeks character always living inside him.

He is yet another that I don't find particularly yummy. So he's all yours 😉

And it's extra-hard not to look goofy in a perfume commercial anyhow…

Hahahahaha! I admit they ads are both silly, but I love the men. They're both hilarious in interviews. I like goofy men, I guess.

I love Franco, but I can only see Daniel from Freaks & Geeks! very funny. I do think he's handsome – he's got a bit of an Alain Delon thing around the eyes.

I'm sorry, but don't like the ad at all.

They should have stuck with the original version of Slave to Love, and the actor's cute but he's just a bit young! Perhaps Tcheky Karyo (circa la Femme Nikita)??

Not that this is relevant, but I LOVE Roisin Murphy!

I'm still waiting to see the actual Guerlain Homme commercial (only saw the “behind the scenes” so far. I like that man much better 🙂

I don't even know what Freaks & Geeks is, so I don't have to worry about that association 🙂

I'm guessing they're hoping this scent will skew young…

Freaks & Geeks is a story of teenage angst in the mid-80's, complete with bad wardrobe, music & ect… I think it's located in Michigan?? Very funny sitcom…

It's very funny, hubby and I find ourselves flinching and reliving those uncomfortable “teen” moments.
