Scented watches from Laks

Posted by Robin on 30 July 2008 11 Comments

Austrian watch manufacturer Laks has introduced the Taste collection, comprising 13 waterproof watches with stainless fittings and scented leather straps. The choices include Gingerbread, Piña Colada and Cigar, among others; Citron and Coffee are shown above. The soft skin band will reportedly hold its fragrance for months, and can be refreshed with the included perfume spray.

Prices range from €93 to €100. (via wristdreams, additional information via laks)

Somehow, I'm not feeling, er sniffing, that!

    Hugs!

C'mon! The apple watch even says “eat me” on the band 🙂

Ugh! Who in their right mind would want to eat a wrist band, lol?

You know, I'm not wearing my watch anymore, because the metal bracelet catched the scent of perfume from my wrist. I use many different scents, so after a while the smell of the bracelet was… let's just say weird, and I couldn't do anything about it. Maybe I should wear it again and say it's niche?:)

LOL — I think that's common. I don't wear perfume on my wrists so don't have to worry about it 🙂

I don't think synthetic food smells mixed with wrist sweat equals appetising.

Perhaps it disguises the scent of the wrist sweat 🙂
