The Venexx perfume watch

Posted by Robin on 11 January 2006 6 Comments

The Venexx perfume watch has come to sephora. The stainless steel watch face conceals a small spray atomizer allowing you to refresh your fragrance on the go; a funnel and pipette are included for refills. You can watch a video explaining how it works at the Venexx site.

The original set also included a sample of the Venexx fragrance for women created by perfumer Philippe Bousseton, but the sephora site does not mention that so I don't know if it is included. Available in white, pink or black for $180 at sephora, or in other colors directly from Venexx.

I find this product rather hilarious, but the sad truth is I would totally buy it if it were not so expensive!

A, If it were $50, it would be mine. Do watch the video, it is even more hilarious.

OMG. The video totally cracks me up. But *why* does it have to be so expensive?? Sob! Lemming alert to the extreme. I am a complete, pathetic sucker for gimmicky things like this. Although it's a problem if you aren't a single scent person…and I'm certainly not.

    The video is very funny!

Supposedly you can clean it out, and although I am rather dubious about how well that would work since the actual atomizer is probably not stainless steel.

Oh! The Video is from a great show here called “Galileo” (I love it, but because I am still learning the language, I only understand about 60% of what is going on).

Sigh, I am a watch fanatic as well as a perfume junkie, this is a dangerous item for me to know about! I love the website, so many to choose from. But 149 € is a but pricey. And what fragrance would I put in it?

If you understand 60% of that commercial, you understand about 59% more than I did, LOL — but found it very entertaining. As I said above, I seriously doubt that it can be *really* cleaned, so whatever you put in it ought to be something you know you'll always love!
