Jennifer Lopez Deseo for Men ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 9 May 2008 17 Comments

Jennifer Lopez Deseo for men cologneJennifer Lopez will follow up on her most recent fragrance releases, Deseo and Deseo Forever, with her first masculine fragrance, Deseo for Men. According to Lopez...

I wanted to capture the intimate and personal nature of a man who is sexy, yet strong. Deseo means desire. [...] I wanted to take this meaning and put it behind the idea of one desiring another. The smell is warming and creates a provocative and sensual texture.

Like Deseo for Women, Deseo for Men was developed by perfumers Ellen Molner and Jim Krivda. The notes include lemon, yuzu, red berries, cedar and tobacco leaves, guaicwood, orris, sandalwood, cedarwood, patchouli, amber and vanilla.

Jennifer Lopez Deseo for Men will launch in September, and will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and matching grooming products. (via wwd)

She's branching out to men's? Thought she'd have done it long ago.

If it's based on Mr Lopez III I don't want to know.

It is surprising how few female celebs launch men's fragrances. Maybe they don't sell? We'll see!

I just sprayed this on me at Macys before work and every single person I talked to after words commented on the scent! I LOVE IT! It lasted about 2.5 hours on me…

I smelled this today, and I'm so glad I did. I really, really liked it. I may be buying a bottle eventually.

I have samples but haven't made up my mind yet…it's certainly better than I expected though! Wonder if a J Lo scent for men will sell, even if it's fabulous?
