Lancome relaunching vintage perfumes

Posted by Robin on 4 April 2005 3 Comments

La Collection Lancome perfumes

La Collection Lancôme is coming soon from Lancôme, and will include four reissued fragrances from their back catalog:

...Magie, a floral amber composed in 1950; Sikkim, a floral oriental created in 1971; and Climat, a green floral from 1967. The fourth fragrance, Sagamore, is a fresh woody men’s EdP, created in 1985.

They will be available in Harrods, Le Bon Marché, Saks in New York, Rinascente Duomo in Milan, and Lancôme boutiques. (via cosmeticnews) Update: the fragrances are all in Eau de Parfum, and range from $100-125 for 50 ml. The gift set shown above includes 15 ml of each scent for $175. Mille et Une Roses was added to the set in 2006; unless I am mistaken, Sagamore has been dropped. Also see: a review of Lancome Sikkim.

Well, this is probably good news for some folks, but why on earth are they not rereleasing Magie Noire in parfum and edp strength. Grrrrr. Thanks for the heads up on Climat, though… if anybody cares, you can get minis of it already at this site:

Katie wrote in 2005; here I am in 2008, echoing the same: Please! edp for Magie Noire.

    (Lancome, are you listening???)
