Niche line Byredo has introduced Havana Tonka, a new addition to the Night Veils collection.
Havana Tonka by Byredo explores a nocturnal, warm, and enveloping atmosphere through a composition centered on roasted tonka bean. The opening retains a beautiful luminosity thanks to bergamot, quickly warmed by rum and pink pepper. A nuance of crème brûlée adds a caramelized sweetness that gives the ensemble a gourmand depth without erasing its dark character.
At the heart, tobacco leaf establishes a dry, smoky depth, softened by violet and the supple texture of suede. Cashmere wood reinforces this warm, velvety sensation, creating a natural transition toward a denser base. The tonka bean then reveals itself in a roasted, sweet, and slightly resinous facet. Patchouli provides an earthy depth while musks extend the fragrance close to the skin.
Additional notes include benzoin.
Byredo Havana Tonka is available in 70 ml Extrait de Parfum.

Not a fan of Byredo…*cough*…poser niche…*cough*…
This has a high likelihood of the dreaded amber woods but hope springs eternal and I shall try this when my situationally sad Nordstrom gets it. 😆
I walked through the beauty and fragrance department at my local Nordstrom a few weeks ago and it was quite disappointing. I left without spraying anything. There were about two dozen SAs in clusters around the department but mostly standing in front of the fragrances, talking to themselves or on their phones barring entry and ignoring me. Mrs. Slocombe and Mr. Humphries were nowhere in sight…I suppose those days are truly gone. 🙁
Loved that show!😂
Sounds like your Nordie’s has taken “poser perfumehood” to an institutional extreme. What a bummer.
That is a shame.
