Guerlain L’Heure Bleue (2026) ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 12 September 2026 12 Comments

Guerlain has launched L'Heure Bleue, a new fragrance for women. L'Heure Bleue is a reworking of the brand's 1912 fragrance of the same name.

Between day and night, the sky turns a deep, electric blue: the blue hour. A moment when everything shifts and anything becomes possible.

Inspired by this natural phenomenon, L’Heure Bleue Eau de Parfum captures the scent of the sky in this still moment. An amber floral fragrance where the crystalline freshness of the sky meets the velvety softness of iris and vanilla. An invitation to make every moment a “blue hour”: an hour when anything is possible.

**

L’Heure Bleue Eau de Parfum is an amber floral fragrance. Top notes feature an airy ozonic accord combined with the freshness of pear and neroli. At its heart, a tailor-made iris tincture created by the House of Guerlain is blended with precious iris butter and jasmine. Base notes reveal the warmth of vanilla, ambroxan, and musks. An addictive trail, the signature of the Guerlinade.

**

“I wanted to capture the blue hour with the same tenderness as Jacques Guerlain’s L’Heure Bleue in 1912. It’s a perfume that enfolds us in its powerful yet gentle and intimate scent.” Delphine Jelk, Director of Guerlain Perfume Creation & Perfumer

Guerlain L'Heure Bleue is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum ($110 - $180).

I did get rid of my bottle but I do have one sample that came with it. If you live in the US and would like it you can email me at K r I s p o n t o (no spaces) at sio dawt Midco dawt net

Try before you buy. As many of you know I went back and forth on it and finally decided the ozone or ambroxan notes didn’t work for me and it lasts forever.

Ozone OR ambrox that lasts forever is all I need to know 🙂

      But that’s a nice offer!

thanks for taking one for the team, Kris! We appreciate your review. Don’t sound up my alley at all. I’ll stick to the OG.

Some people like it. I wanted to but I just couldn’t do it.

I had a similar reaction. Something in the new one just wasn’t working for me. I assume it was the ambroxan, but I don’t know for sure. I also prefer the powder aspect of the OG that is not in the new one. I’m glad they are not replacing the OG, just extending the line.
