Bond no. 9 My Oud & Super Oud ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 9 June 2026 3 Comments

Bond no. 9 has launched two new fragrances, My Oud and Super Oud.

My Oud ~ "My Oud is a warm, summery, spicy chypre. The opening is a surprising does of sweetness and light to create an "oud with a New York twist," says Rahme of fruit notes: juicy pineapple nectar and sparking pink grapefruit offer zest and vigor comingled with a rich, sensual frankincense note derived from resinous olibanum incense. At its heart, the calm, refined immortelle flower recalls the coastal regions of the Mediterranean. This romantic note is blended with earthy, honeyed beeswax and the ever-alluring extract of pure rose. Finally, the composition is grounded by the spices of ancient mythological lore: myrrh - smoky and aromatic - alongside balsamic patchouli oil and leathery labdanum. And of course, the base note is woody, always quietly luxurious, oud."

Super Oud ~ "Super Oud naturally opens with two of the richest gourmand notes available: roasted Arabica coffee and highly valuable saffron threads. Saffron, also known as "red gold", is prized for its iconic heritage, fragility and labor-intensive harvesting. it takes tens of thousands of handpicked crocus flowers harvested at dawn and dried over time to gather each prized thread. Warm, leathery, and slightly sweet, saffron's rare scent is as complex as its careful collection. The heart of the fragrance is an intriguing mix of white rose, singular for its ultra fresh dewy lightness, supported by the more grounded creamy, caramel-esque benzoin and balsamic, slightly lemony olibanum resin. At its base is a symphony of refined well-rounded notes befitting such a superb blend. Spicy patchouli oil, mildly leathery and always sumptuous suede and powerfully woody Amberxtreme, join its legendary namesake, oud to create an altogether super iconic new fragrance."

Bond no. 9 My Oud and Super Oud are available in 100 ml, $600 each.

Um…I think somebody forgot to put the FIGS and DATES in the juice when they made the perfumes. Talk about false advertising. 😒

So is there going to be a flanker called “Oh My Oud”? For that price tag, there ought to be.
