Bond no. 9 Good Oud & Oud Supreme ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 8 October 2025 2 Comments

Bond no. 9 has launched two new fragrances, Good Oud and Oud Supreme.

Good Oud ~ "We invite you to take an olfactory pilgrimage through smoke, spice and the exotic soul of the city. // Developed in partnership with master perfumer Miroslav Petkov, Good Oud conjures both faraway lands - bazaars glowing with crimson spices, temples scented with smoke resins and gardens bursting with ripe fruit and ancient botanicals - and the diverse intricacies of each and every NYC neighborhood. Good Oud is a richly spiced, resinous oriental fragrance with both a commanding presence and meditative calm. It opens with the earthy tang of sumac, softened by sensual magnolia and osmanthus flower. A note of spicy cinnamon bark and cumin seed ignites the senses and adds a grounding layer. The heart of the fragrance is a glowing ember of pomegranate seeds, sacred myrrh resin, warm Peru balsam, and aromatic clary sage - a deep, mysterious blend that evokes far-off lands and ancient rituals. Finally, the base smolders with richness: smooth vanilla bean, intense labdanum resnin, decadent patchouli and the magnetic pull of smoky red oud - the soul of the scent and its enduring signature." Additional notes include forest berries.

Oud Supreme ~ "The ultimate decadent, luxurious oud arrives just in time for NYC's most treasured fall season. // Crafted in collaboration with the distinguished Bulgarian perfumer Miroslav Petkov, Oud Supreme is a sensorial tapestry that weaves together vibrant fruit, refined florals and ancient woods. It's evocative of midnight soirees in penthouse gardens, candlelit art salons and silk-lined walls - unmistakably cosmopolitan and utterly unforgettable. Oud Supreme is a bold, modern chypre-resinous fragrance with structure, sensuality and surprise. The opening is electric: juicy cassis and zesty Spanish lemon sparkle with a flash of pink pepper, evoking the vibrant energy of an uptown rooftop. Its heart pulses with a delicate yet intriguing bouquet: crisp geranium, earthy carrot seed oil and lush Turkish rose swirl together like a fine silk scarf caught in a breeze. Anchoring the composition is a smoky, hypnotic base: deep patchouli, resinous balsam and a commanding dose of Jungle Oud - an exotic and sustainable oud accord that lingers on the skin in a sensual, lasting dry down." Additional notes include olibanum, gurjun balsam and benzoin.

Bond no. 9 Good Oud and Oud Supreme are available in 100 ml, $600 each.

Good grief, how much??!! I remember trying a few from this brand many years ago at Barney’s whilst visiting friends in Seattle – didn’t buy but thought they were just a bit different.

I am sure they are selling at Harrods, or someplace, but good grief is right.
