Posted by Robin on 1 July 2025 2 Comments

Lancôme has launched La Vie Est Belle Vanille Nude, a new flanker to 2012's La Vie Est Belle.

Want a taste of Happiness?

Inspired by the finest French Patisserie, La vie est belle Vanille Nude is a deliciously creamy, long-lasting perfume that melts on your skin revealing your most irresistible self. It blends high-quality ingredients for a deeply intimate and irresistible experience.

A perfume for choosing yourself and indulging in life’s most irresistible pleasures. La vie est belle Vanille Nude enhances your unique scent, creating a fragrance that is truly YOU!

Solar Jasmine, from our Domaine de la Rose, and glazed Vanilla culminates in an overdose of creamy White Musk. A powerful fragrance that lasts all day long on your skin, including an exceptional 5-hour intensity backed by consumer tests. Be ready for compliments!

Embark on a love affair with yourself – a triumphant story of liberation begins with embracing your most authentic and intimate side. This sensual and powerful feeling inspires you to seize life’s every pleasure. Indulge your senses and let happiness become your second skin.

Additional notes include bergamot, iris and sandalwood.

Lancôme La Vie Est Belle Vanille Nude is available in 10, 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum ($35 - $164).

5 hours is nothing to brag about, considering there were scents in the sixties through the nineties that could still be smelled the next day. In 1995, Revlon launched a scent called Lasting, the entire point of which was that it lasted for 10 hours — the ad campaign was basically a woman gauzily drifting around in a bunch of numbers with a prominent 10. Maybe 5 hours is a big deal nowadays when a lot of scents are airy front-loaded Jo Malone things that are gone a couple of hours later, I dunno.

Ha, I am on the opposite end of the spectrum, I do not want my perfume to last that long 🙂
