Mexican botanical niche line Xinú has launched VetiVerde, a new unisex fragrance.
Telling the fragrance story of a humble vetiver seed blown long ago to the nation of Haiti, where resilience and hope are an eternal theme against a tragic history of foreign exploitation and disastrous political interference....
VetiVerde opens bright, with an intense burst of citrus-tinged green notes that evoke crushed wet leaves and broken plant stems that move smoothly into the fragrance's spicy floral heart. The calming presence of gently smoky palo santo wood emerges in perfect balance with warm, sweet tonka bean, all of which balances with the intense and soulful essence of vetiver. Edgy and bright, yet soothing and naturalistic, VetiVerde is a perfectly rounded and unique fragrance that fits perfectly into the dynamic and sophisticated world of Xinu.
VetiVerde was developed by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux. Additional notes include grapefruit and geranium.
Xinú VetiVerde is available now at Luckyscent, $240 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum. If you buy directly from Xinú, there are also 4.5 ($30) and 15 ($109) ml sizes.

I quite like that bottle shape!
And the bottles are meant to be repurposed…scroll down here

They’re works of art! I wonder if Rodrigo Flores-Roux was involved in the bottle design?
No idea, sorry.
This sounds unusual and nice, and as others say, those bottles are an object of desire in and of themselves. I want one of the perfumes just to have a bottle sitting enigmatically around on the dining room table or somewhere. 🙂
Kevin really liked the 2 he reviewed…they seem like they do a good job.
Yes the scents all sound interesting but unusual.
