Christian Dior Bois Talisman ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 10 January 2025 8 Comments

Christian Dior has launched Bois Talisman, the latest addition to their upscale La Collection Privée Christian Dior fragrance series.

At Dior, everything is a sign, everything has meaning. Christian Dior took pride in his passion for the arts of divination and hidden lucky charms: he paid special attention to the lining of his garment, where he discreetly tucked a lucky piece of wood each day.

Francis Kurkdjian, Dior Perfume Creative Director, someone also attentive to signs, has a habit of slipping a protective sugar cube into the lapel of his jacket.

Woody and vanilla, the mysterious trail of Bois Talisman Eau de Parfum draws on the encounter of these two superstitions: Christian Dior's piece of wood and Francis Kurkdjian's sugar cube.

Powerful and woody, the Bois Talisman silhouette is delicately lined with a trilogy of sweet vanilla notes. An olfactory composition in which the cedar note serves as a mystical shrine for an opulent vanilla note, unfurled in all its facets, this scent is to be worn like a fragrance talisman.

“Christian Dior's superstitions have always touched my heart. Bois Talisman is born of the passionate encounter between our two superstitions: the sugar cube tucked into my pocket melds with the pieces of wood that were never far from Christian Dior's reach. From sugar, I moved towards all facets of an intense vanilla to create the magical duo: Bois Talisman." Francis Kurkdjian, Dior Perfume Creative Director

Christian Dior Bois Talisman is available in 100 or 200 ml Eau de Parfum.
