A single spray and you’ll be transported to London’s Soho in 1962

Posted by Robin on 5 December 2024 4 Comments

The first-ever fragrance from The Rolling Stones, RS No. 9, is a homage to the place where it all began. A single spray and you'll be transported to London’s Soho in 1962 as a group of young men step on stage at the legendary Marquee Club and begin their journey to superstardom. Experience the scent of freedom and opportunity, an olfactory tribute to a time when anything could – and did – happen.

— That's the description of the Stones' first fragrance, which was announced today as a limited edition and is already sold out.

Only sold out in the US – currently still available in R/S stores in Tokyo & the UK. And on the UK website.

Hadn’t heard of the perfumer & looking at her back catalogue I’m not surprised – Billie Eilish , Ann Sui, Hollister, Dunhill, Hummer, Banana Republic etc. Given that they’re selling it as a ‘fine fragrance’ I’m surprised they didn’t go for a perfumer with ‘fine fragrance’ experience rather than a department store perfumer, though at 999 bottle i guess they could put anything in a bottle & it would sell.
