It's Friday, National Sponge Cake Day and the International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition. And around here, it's Cypress Friday. Our community project for today: wear a fragrance with a cypress note.
What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.
I'm in good old Diptyque Tam Dao.
Reminder: on 8/30, for the start of Labor Day Weekend in the US, wear the fragrance you think you probably wore the most — or wish you'd worn the most — for summer 2024 (or if you're in the southern hemisphere, for winter 2024).
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2024, where I'll try (but usually fail) to have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

Hello and tgif!
Twinning with Robin in Tam Dao.
For breakfast today, it’s figs with Greek yoghurt and a swirl of honey and a bowl of oatmeal with brown sugar, maple syrup and crushed pecans. Definitely satisfied my sweet tooth and gave me enough energy to run a marathon.
Triplets! I wonder how many will join us?
Me! I will be joining all the Tam Dao folks after yoga. Will post later.
Rather a lot, as in me too! A perfume fiend friend from out of town was visiting last week, and in her sample bag to me was Tam Dao. Must be fate…
Your breakfast sounds delicious! I’ve been hooked lately on a mix of Greek yogurt with honey, topped with maple pecan granola. Sounds like my sweet tooth aligns with yours!
Hey twin! Wish we had been breakfast twins too.
Twins!🙌 I didn’t think I’d have anything for the cp but scrolled through the list on fragrantica, and there it was, an old favorite Tam Dao. One of the few perfumes I’ve actually replaced.
I was up for 6 am barre class and the mornings are definitely getting darker. I’m loving the cool mornings but I hear more heat is on the way.
I am singing The Go-Go’s this morning because today is the first day of my vacation, all I ever wanted.🎶 Off til the Tuesday after Labor Day. The end of next week will be crazy busy. We’ll move madtownteen into the dorms, get gradtowngirl back to the twin cities, an overnight visit with my cousin, baby shower for another cousin, an overnight visit with my favorite auntie, then back home. Whew. I’ll need a vacation from my vacation. lol.
Six more nights with madtownteen at home, and I seem to be doing *okay*. Better than I did in 2018 when we took gradtowngirl off to uni. Although I remember thinking at the time that we would have all this time with just the baby at home to enjoy her, and now in the blink of an eye it has come to an end. (swallows lump in throat)
She and I have haircuts, ladies day shopping and lunch today. Trying to squeeze in all the time with her I can.☺️
Enjoy your day with your baby 😊
Thanks ringthing!😊
Wow – have a wonderful vacation. I remember it got a bit easier dropping them at uni after the first one, but still bittersweet.
Yes, bittersweet for sure. I’m super excited for her. I don’t think it will really hit me til I come home to an empty house.🥺
You will be busy, but it will be fun too. Enjoy!
It will be! Thanks Kris!
Yay for lots of fun times with the ‘town girls, and other family! I was really noticing how dark it suddenly seems to be in the morning now. But we are getting some of that cool weather that I love, too. You and the Tam Dao gang smell great!
Thanks MB! Yeah, loving these brisk mornings! I’m wondering if maybe I am a fall person?!🤔🤷♀️
Oh, best of luck with the lump in the throat! Our oldest just started graduate school, after some years of just working. The other two are now out of college (the youngest just this spring). We feel very lucky they are all close by. Enjoy your week with your teen!
Thanks Old Herbaceous! I will! I took the week off just to spend with her. I’m sure she’ll be sick of me by the time we drop her off at college.😂
I’ve noticed that the heat of high summer is gone, and the sun is coming up about 30 minutes later than it was is June. Fall is coming.
Enjoy your time with madtownteen before her semester starts!
Time flies, doesn’t it. Enjoy the busy week!
I chose Kyoto today although Wazamba smelled so good yesterday that I almost wore it again.
Happy Friday NST! I’m going to visit my daughter this afternoon and it’s a gorgeous day for a drive. Looking forward to seeing her and my granddogs.
Have a great visit, ringthing. Smelling wonderful!
Thanks springpansy!
Have a great time!
Thanks Kris!
Aw, your comment about “granddogs” reminded me that my Mom used to always ask about her “grandkitties”. It’s a bittersweet memory. 😿
Hugs Jalapeño 🌹
Thanks ringthing.
I chose Idyllwild today, and finished the sample. It might be worth a decant, mainly because I really enjoy rhubarb scents.
Twin!! Love that scent and wear it often…so glad I sprung for a full bottle.
I thought about that one for today, couldn’t find it!
I went through the complete list of scents with cypress in them on Fragrantica and I don’t have a single one. I’m pretty sure I don’t even know what it smells like: I can identify sandalwood, cedar, and pine pretty readily, but after that I don’t think I could ever pick a specific wood out of a lineup.
So let’s go with this instead: “I thought you said Cyprus! And the French name for Cyprus is Chypre, so I’m wearing Guerlain Mitsouko edt, the quintessential oakmossy chypre. I hope that’s okay!” (It’s definitely okay by me. Mitsouko is never the wrong answer as far as I’m concerned. Not a splinter of wood to be found in it, though.)
A “Mitsouko is Never Wrong” t-shirt could be a big seller among the perfume crowd, although possibly confusing to others (“Is she an influencer?”)
Ha! Good one, AnnieA 😀
I love it!
😂
🤣 ❤️
Love the idea of that t-shirt! Though I think I’ve shared this before — when I was wearing vintage Mitsouko for the first time some years ago, my then teenaged daughter turned to me in all seriousness and said, “Mom — NEVER wear that scent again!”. lol
👍👍!
Ha ha, well done! You smell great!
Scent twins!
Excellent.
For the CP I am wearing Jo Malone Cypress & Grapevine from my little 9 mL freebie bottle, which has now become my ‘ Tom Hardy fragrance’ from his appearance in the promo videos for this one.
Bullseye!
For some reason I thought I had a bottle of this but couldn’t find it. You smell fabulous!
Acqua di Parma Cipresso di Toscana. I claim extra points for “cypress” in the name.
The new fridge works fine, thank you for your support. You know, I sometimes see videos asking, “If you could meet yourself 10 years ago, what advice would you give yourself?” I’m not particularly interested in meeting my past self from 10 years ago, as I feel I would have to explain a lot and might miss out on important experiences if I tried to change my past that far back. However, I would love to be able to send myself messages just one month into the past: “Glynnys, your fridge will break in a month. This is the kind of fridge you need to look for. Start doing it now.”
You totally get extra points!
YES…a month back would be perfect, in fact would like to go back a month EVERY month and tell myself what to do.
I’m taking points in Caleche this morning. What a beauty of a scent. Overslept a bit because it’s so dark — the sun usually wakes me around 6-ish. Not that I mind the extra sleep!
Twins.
Hi! It’s so great, isn’t it. 🙂
I’m glad you mentioned this, because I was thinking I didn’t have any cypress perfumes for the CP! But I have this, so I am now a triplet with you two. Like some others here though, I honestly do not know what the cypress note itself smells like, and there are so many notes listed in this that I don’t know which one it might be. But I do know I smell pretty!
Hey, happy to have helped! Caleche is definitely an old-school “kitchen sink” type perfume, for sure, and I love it for that.
Happy Friday, everyone.
Starting the day with “Encre Noire A L’Extrême” from Lalique.
How did your daughter like her perfume gift?
Oh, thanks for checking!😊 She was wearing another Parfum D’Empire fragrance when I gave “3 Fleurs” to her last night, so she didn’t spray it. She loved the hint of it she detected on the atomizer, but I’m waiting for a full report. Fingers crossed!
Just heard from her via text:
“daddy, it’s so pretty – feels very clean and bright – I think there’s a little violet, too. and it STAYS pretty. i love it ♥️♥️ thank you so much.”
So far, so good!
Oh, that’s great!
I love cypruss essential oil and I love it as a perfume note and I was planning to wear one of my big favorites, Goutal’s Eau de Hadrien. This was one of the scents that got me into perfumery as a whole. I loved how different and original it was, the unisex concept was new back then and right up my alley and I wore it as my signature scent for a long while. I still have few bottles of that good ol’ vintage stuff, before the citrus notes were tamed down and it started smelling like a bathroom cleaner. But when I went to look this morning, I could not find any of my EdT bottles. What I found instead was a small box of Goutal samples which included Hadrien Absolu so I am wearing it now. It’s smells great, with a beautiful and distinct cypress note but it’s rather subdued skin scent, and I am craving that blast from the past with in your face lemon followed by all that green shrubbery so I will have to find the EdT bottles later today.
Perfume bottles seem to hide, don’t they? Hope they turn up.
Well, apparently I didn’t pay attention because I thought it was cedar week… that begins with a C so it’s close enough to cypress for me! Plus, they’re both types of wood, so ….It’s looong leap, but that what I’m doing. Enjoyed Forest Walk so much yesterday I’m repeating it today…
I think you were the reason why I thought it was cedar week! You smell excellent!
Thanks, and yes, I’m probably guilty! I don’t know why I had cedar in my mind…
A few have mentioned it this week, and Mitsouko sounded good today, so that’s what I will wear!
You have the current EdP of Mitsouko?
I have the Les Legendaires Mitsouko so that would be the most current I believe.
I occasionally pop on to the US Guerlain website to drool over a few of their perfumes. Mitsy is one of them.
I believe I got it at a good price through Jomashop, but not sure.
I’m wearing Encre Noire. I’m not sure what cypresses smell like, I mostly associate them with Tuscany where they are so stylishly dotted around the landscape.
I’m not sure I could pick it out of a blind test with other conifers, but I think of it as pine-y and slightly lemon-y.
Lots of drama for ChezMossy world, as our 70+’ tall, 2/3 dead oak tree comes down today. You should hear the *thuds!* as branches and pieces hit the ground. The tree is about 30′ from our and our neighbor’s house, and part of the work has to be done in her yard. Prayers have been said for everyone’s safety. A bright spot is that there are no nests or nest holes in the tree. Woodpeckers and squirrels loved it, but they liked the neighbor’s soft maple better for cavity-making. 🙂 The tree’s removal will make a big difference in the temps. and moisture for our house. We will not plant another forest-type tree in the spot, but maybe an evergreen like a magnolia or holly. For the CP: Gucci Guilty Absolute pour femme. Fruity and strong cypress/wood notes to my nose with an airy, clean patchouli fluffing it up. It’s perhaps a ditzy perfume, and this tree work has me in a dither, so I am enjoying it.
Hope all goes well. It’s always sad to have a tree die, but you are doing the right thing to remove it. And as JB (? I think) said yesterday, thank God for perfume! to uplift our day.
Yes, and of course our perfume-wearing friends. I am always tickled to smell any sort of perfume in the wild, even a doubtful, beast-mode masculine! The tree crew has one last difficult branch (how did I never notice how far it extended over our house???) Then they will work on the bole.
That’s quite a tree! It’s always sad when one dies. We lost a maple tree, I think all the cold winter weather the last 2 years finally did it in.
I hope all goes well with the removal.
Thanks, Gail – so far, so good. I think ours was at the natural end for a pin oak. They do not live as long as some oaks. It will be very strange not to rake up 25 or so big bags of leaves this fall!
I was very sad when our huge old white oak in our back yard died and had to come down. The arborist said he thought it was about 140 years old, based on the rings. We still have one huge water oak in our front yard, and the neighbors behind us have three white oaks that are probably about the same age ours was (over a century old). They seem to be staying healthy, though!
The absence of our own white oak has made our back garden much sunnier, so my consolation prize is that I can now grow roses there. It’s still quite shady in the late afternoon, which the roses actually appreciate, since it’s very hot here and they get lots of direct sun all morning. It will be interesting for you to observe the new microclimate and decide what to plant there!
It’s a bummer that your old tree had to come down, but at least it is a controlled and safe descent. Glad that no one’s house or vehicle was impacted!
I cried when we cut down the large tree in my backyard last year…you have my sympathies.
I couldn’t find my decant of Tam Dao, so I’m in Sycomore today. I’m hoping to detect the sandalwood in Sycomore that Kanuka mentioned yesterday, all I usually get is vetiver and some light spice. Lo and behold, I really am detecting some sandalwood now, amazing!
Another good choice which I think I will wear tomorrow!
We were almost twins but I got 31RC just based on the size of the bottle …
I’m in Tam Dao and Sycomore! I have a fraught meeting this morning and decided I need to double my Cypress💃
Excellent idea and may your meeting go well.
Thank you!
Good luck with your meeting! If I find my Tam Dao today, I will join you in this combo.
Thank you and enjoy the Cypress combo!
Hopefully your high stakes meeting went well today!
Hope it went better than expected!
I’m joining the others who are wearing Tam Dao. Today I’ll be making my famous-in-the-SP-family peach coconut cake for youngest son’s birthday. He has a 1 year old now himself, but still requests the cake. :D.
Yesterday was a bad day. Had my annual check-up and have several things going on. I think I can deal with all of them, but it’s the anxiety around health issues that is difficult. Anyway, onward!
That sounds worrisome, sp. Hope things go well, a day at a time. Hugs
Sorry to hear about your health anxieties, but I’m glad to hear you can handle them all. I hope the birthday celebration and seeing your grand kid will be a nice diversion!
Wishing you better health going forward, with health it’s better to know to remedy but your anxiety is understandable.
I hope you will get out from under the health issues ASAP! Onward, indeed!
Oh, no! Sorry to hear this. There are a lot of medical people on here if you need to vent or we can be of assistance. Glad you feel you can handle it, but don’t be afraid to reach out to others.
Sending you a 🤗 for yesterday’s bad day and hoping the upcoming birthday celebration lifts your spirits with happy memories and making new ones! 🥳 🎂
I hope the health issues aren’t too severe, but several things to deal with at once will be daunting.
Thanks, everyone. I am OK, just feeling discouraged. And as Gaynor said, several things at once is too much.
Onwards! I hope your issues resolve quickly.
Hope it all settles down a bit after the shock of your health news.
Hugs springpansy. Finding out that several things aren’t in spec is definitely unsettling. It’s OK to not be at ease with it for a little while.
I think you have the strength and resilience to handle whatever comes down the pike.
Best of health wishes Springpansy.
Tabu
You smell wonderful!
Thank you! I think so too
And you smell fabulous. I wore 2015 Cinnabar yesterday (really good stuff, as good as the vintage IMHO), and I was immediately reminded of Tabu. No one I knew ever wore Tabu back in the day, and I was down the rabbit hole quite a while before I finally tried it.
Agree! They are definitely similar. And I will say the Estée Lauder fragrances held up well to reformulation. I recently bought White Linen for fear it would be discontinued now that it’s been “ updated”. I’m so happy with my $38 bottle 😂. Smells as good as I remember when I wore it in the 1970s!
Is it still just as potent?
Also happy belated birthday to your daughter!
Don’t remember vintage which I’m sure was potent. Current is sweet and pleasant. I really like it. And can definitely spray lavishly
And thank you!!!!!
Wearing Kyoto (from a decant in my stash).
Always a good one!
TF Italian Cypress from the back of the vault.
Outstanding choice!
I would love to see that vault!
Chilly here again, so I bright out the Amber Oud. I read somewhere that this doesn’t have any Oud in it, but has an “our accord”! That is actually reassuring because it smells really good on me, I think, but I never smell any Oud! Just a fairly sweet ambery spicy thing, good for cool weather.
Love this one – and it’s not mentioned often.
Two nectarines and four strawberries but more before going to bed. It was Liz Earle essence No 1 today, a very invigorating scent which is not talked about enough, it has cedar and is 98% natural but for the CP tonight it’s vintage Calèche, always a treat.
Caleche is one that’s missing from my vintage collection. I must remedy that! Would you consider it powdery?
No, aldehydic rather, if you can hunt for an older one and it will have a good quality sandalwood in its lovely drydown.
I will be participating in probably none of the CPs for the next four months, as I only have a small selection of my travel decants here in Europe with me and an even smaller selection in my suitcase on vacation. I’ve been living in a lot of You or Someone Like You because it’s been so darned hot — 40C on our first full day in Bilbao, and now we’re finishing up with 37C today and tomorrow in Seville. At least there should be fewer hills to climb here than in Lisbon, though tonight we’re doing a tour of the cathedral and roof, and it’s 33C still.
I’ve been reading along as I have a chance, but haven’t been able to drop in that often this summer. I’m hoping that will change soon!
*Waves* Glad you are enjoying your trip, but that is some hot weather!
Hope you are having a splendid time with the sights and foods of Spain! Such good food. I love the good sturdy peasant foods, the potato/onion egg casserole called Tortilla is a favorite!
And the chocolate y churros. And the jambon! And the flan. When I worked on the airbase in Cadiz, my roommates and I would go to the local hangout and have flan y helado on hot summer evenings. We went to a little road side bar with a dirt floor and donkeys tethered out back, where the local teenagers would come to practice flamenco, sometimes playing records on a little red suitcase record player, sometimes with a kid playing guitar, for the tortillas and water glasses of red wine. The best chocolate y churros were to be had at a cafe around the corner from the American Express office in Madrid. The churros were huge, almost as big around as my wrist, and the chocolate was as thick as pudding. We would eat those for breakfast and watch the truck drivers leave their delivery trucks idling in the street while they came in and belted down an espresso and a juice glass of gin for breakfast. Ah. Sorry, back to your story..,
This was so much fun to read, meredifay. Memories!
Oh, all of that sounds lovely! What wonderful memories!
I hope you’re having a fabulous time despite the heat. I visited Lisbon and Seville five years ago, both places were beautiful.
I love Spain and Sevilla in particular. Enjoy all your travels!
What a wonderful trip you’re having! My husband and I are eager to go back to Seville; our only visit there was too brief, though lovely. We visited Lisbon for the first time last year and loved that too. I think our next trip to Portugal will involve going up the Atlantic coastline to Bilbao, which we also haven’t seen. Have fun!
We’ve just done that trip — Bilbao through northern Spain to Santiago, and then down through northern Portugal to Lisbon. I highly recommend it…but if I get a choice I’m coming in shoulder season next time.
After much searching for a fragrance with a cypress note I found I indeed had one, one I’d forgotten I had! SOTD is the little-known Revlon Skinlights from way back in 2001, part of their Skinlights makeup collection. Soft yet refreshing, it’s light and citrusy with some nice spicy accents – ginger, sage and cardamom. Can’t remember the last time I wore it but as soon as I put it on I remembered how much I enjoyed its ginger note. (And, yes, cypress is listed as a top note. 😅 )
Happy birthday to my furbabies this week! The 2 sisters 😻😻are 9; our friends adopted their pregnant mom who gave birth to 5 kittens and we adopted the 2 girls. And their ‘baby’ sister 😽- I can’t believe it’s been nearly 6 years since I found her at age 3 weeks wobbling in my backyard. Unsuccessful in finding her mom and unable to find a home for her, of course I wound up adopting her. She would’ve been born around the same day as the 2 Sisters, so we celebrate all of them at the same time! 🥳
A new monthly program at my library this year, Global Neighbors, features musicians with traditional instruments, dancers, the culture and food samples from other countries. Thus far it has featured Peru, Ukraine, India, and last nite, Arab countries. The music was beautiful and haunting, the traditional instruments fascinating, and the refreshments served by a nearby Arab-owned organic coffeehouse delicious. Best of all was the connection I made with an older Arab gentleman who appreciated our attendance and interest in his culture. We hugged and wished each other peace, and it was beautiful way to end a lovely evening.
Wishing all NST’ers ☮️ in the days ahead, however and wherever you can find it. ✌️
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtQPOIylDrQ
You might like this, traditional Maori nose flutes
Thank you, that was lovely! Several of the musicians had no Arab heritage but came to the music in different ways. One of them was a woman who was a classically-trained flute player who was playing a very simple reed instrument of ancient lineage and it sounded very similar to the Māori nose flutes but was played with different parts of the mouth.
That library program sounds wonderful!
It is a wonderful opportunity to learn about different cultures thru their music and food and chatting with the performers afterwards enhances one’s enjoyment. Looking forward to Norway!
Aw, enjoy your kittehs milestone!
Thank you! Hope your furbaby is doing well and bringing you both comfort and joy!😻
Yep! Teflon had a good first appointment with her new vet last month, and she is still quite spry at almost 13 years old. She’s the best roomie ever.
Aw!❤️
First sunny day in a while, so I went with Rahat Loukhoum as it’s a happy scent for me.
That is a nice one!
Love your scent of the day!
Zegna Acqua di Iris.Although they only list “woody notes” I’m pretty sure there is cypress and cedar woods in this.Pretty good woody -iris,even if the iris only hums in the background.
XO’s
Humming Iris could be a perfume name. Lol.
Acqua Viva today, lemon and cypress are a winning combination.
Sounds good.
I read that vintage Galanos has cypress, so that’s what I’m wearing. I can never pick out individual notes in these vintage beauties, but I’m enjoying it all the same.
You smell great! Vintage Galanos is wonderful.
I’m at my relative’s house in Central Otago, the stoic centre of NZ. Despite getting below zero , this house has ( literally) one heater, which is in the living room . I can see my breath as I write this from my bed, under two thick duvets. But it’s going to be sunny, and the snowy hills look beautiful. No blossom yet, and no daffodils…so a few weeks behind coastal Otago. I have a little sample of Hwyl for the cp, a moistened towelette thing. But I can see a huge cypress from my window so taking points for nature. Send heat, I’m dying down here.
Yikes! That sounds like my childhood home. My mother still lives there, but now she insulation and more than one heater.
I hope you get that sunny day after the chilly start.
Sending heat!🌞
Extra points since it is really to cold to even look out the window to see the cypress 🙂
We are experiencing the joy of a sunny Saturday morning. Last night was horrible wind and rain, this is the time of year when we oscillate wildly between winter and spring.
With so many mentions of Tam Dao, I will see if our local Mecca has it in stock. I know I’ve tried it before, but I can’t remember it.
Meanwhile, I’m trying another of my last batch of samples, Oranger Sirocco from Les Indémodables. It’s a nice orange blossom, but it doesn’t stand out from others.
I have not tried a new bottle in some years, I hope it is still good. I plan to let it go when I’ve drained this bottle, but I will miss it.
SOTD is Hermès’ Un Jardin En Méditerranée, which has a detectable cypress note. I sometimes forget how much I like this one; actually, I really like/love all the Jardin fragrances. UJEM is aromatic and green, with fig, cypress, and other evergreens among its notes. Really refreshing!
I haven’t tried all the Hermes Jardins, but of the ones I have, Un Jardin En Med is my favorite.
SOTD = Chanel 31 Rue Cambon EDT
Beautiful! I was going to wear Sycomore because it has a cypress note. I should have looked at the bottle before I did my spritzessss but hey, it’s the thought that counts, right? Right!

My nephew has not been deployed to the Middle East as he was just home last weekend! Yay!
I usually have hostess gift anxiety but this time I just decided to bring (mild) salsa and chips. I may stop by Wegmans to see if there’s interesting beverages.
Good news about your nephew! I know you were quite concerned about the possibility of him ending up in the Middle East.
Indeed … and if he was deployed, we will never know either so some news is good news!
I thought about wearing that earlier this week. I just love 31 RC.
I kept forgetting how much I enjoy wearing this one. IIRC, the EDP is nowhere near the EDT.
Glad to hear your Nephew is safe.
At the beginning of this week I was convinced that I didn’t have a single scent with cypress in it.
However, with both Deva and hajusuuri mentioning SSS perfumes had me looking up perfume notes on the travel sprays I have. Lo and behold, there was one that actually fit the CP. But I was not in the mood to wear Fireside Intense today after smelling wildfire smoke yesterday.
SOTD = YSL Black Opium Neon EdP. I decided to try my new bottle that I picked up during my travels earlier this month. The floral notes are rather short lived, and it becomes a lighter, fruitier version of the OG scent. I think I need to try this one in cooler weather; it was a bit much for temps near 90.
Yes, that would seem to be a fragrance for cooler months.
The Fireside Intense? Or the Black Opium Neon?
The Black Opium Neon.
Oy! You know I may have tried this at Nordstrom’s when it first came out and now I need to revisit.
I think She-ra would like the drydown on the Black Opium Neon…
Definitely try in winter. The original Black Opium always got me compliments when I wore it.
Good to know, thanks!
I’m late because I went straight from work to my grand nephews 2nd birthday party. I bought him a noisy dinosaur. Lol.
I do not have anything cp compliant for today. Instead I randomly chose Elie Saab L’eau Couture.
Rawr! Sounds like you had fun with your grandnephew!
I went with the wonderful Annick Goutal Les Nuits d’Hadrien for the CP today. Having a great lazy day while it’s been chilly and rainy all day. But we were productive in the middle of the day as we got some shoes and clothes ready for a consignment appointment next week.
You smell wonderful! I could’ve worn that today but didn’t see it listed on fragrantica as having a cypress note. I will wear it tomorrow, I love this one!
I recently learned by someone here that you’ll get a longer results list on Fragrantica if you select Search by Notes from the menu instead of just the one that says Notes. It’s helped a lot during community projects since I found out to do that. And you’ll smell great tomorrow. 😉
I missed that tip. Thank you! I always wondered why their notes list seemed so limited.
Good idea to post that tip. I do always use search by notes but didn’t see Les Nuits listed, but perhaps I just overlooked it.
sotd = CdG Sequoia 🌲
I’m CP adjacent because I love the smell of redwoods –
– and I’m super late but wanted to fly by and share how much I enjoyed everyone’s choices today! 😍
gosh, I’m ready to weekend 😴
wishing everyone a super smelly scented Saturday and Sunday.
That’s a great one, wish I had a bottle.
Larmes du Desert for the project today
