Aesop Gloam ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 20 March 2023 11 Comments

Australian botanical brand Aesop will launch Gloam, a new unisex spicy woody floral fragrance in the Othertopias collection, in April.

Melbourne-based label Aesop has mastered the art of curating enriching sensory experiences through its range of intoxicatingly fragrant, plant-based formulas. The latest addition to its heady line-up of scents is the Gloam eau de parfum; concocted, as ever, with meticulous attention to detail, this ambrosial perfume blends rich florals with warm spices and deep woody notes, taking you on a reverent, sensual journey

The notes include neroli, saffron, pink pepper, cardamom, mimosa, rose, jasmine and iris.

Aesop Gloam will be available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

I like almost everything about this- the bottle, the notes, the description, the name…just remains to be seen if I actually like the scent. 😁

As a rule I like the idea of almost everything Aesop does, and as a rule I am not willing to pay the price 😉

I actually have two friends who work at Aesop these days. One said it smelled like a dirty fairy, and the other said it smelled like they hadn’t showered in a week. I’m very curious after those reviews!

Space NK had it on sale for one day early last week then very quickly pulled the listing – i guess they didn’t realise it wasn’t supposed to be out until April. Was during their 20% off everything promotion so got it a 20% cheaper than I’d expected to pay.
