French perfume house Le Galion will launch L'Astre, a new fragrance made under licensing agreements with The Ava Gardner Trust. L'Astre is reportedly a reissue of a custom fragrance developed for Gardner by perfumer Paul Vacher, after the actress was an ambassador for Sortilège in the late 1950s.
Created by Rodrigo Florès-Roux, this new version of L’Astre is, according to the perfumer, a “large, exuberant and magnetic floral.” After a catchphrase made of sensual spices, the perfumer worked on “a spectacular floral accord” made of white flowers, before continuing with an amber, warm and enveloping background.
Le Galion L'Astre will debut in February, in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

One celebrity fragrance I just might be able to get behind, even if BWFs are not usually my thing
🙂
Ditto!
I’d love to smell this.
It could be good…I do like Rodrigo Flores Roux.
Wonder if it’s based on the Aster flower? 🤔
Anyway would love to smell it
In French it just means “star”.
Right. It is fitting, since we know who it was made for
