It's Tuesday, and Bob Dylan is 81. It's also International Tiara Day aka Queen Victoria's birthday. And, PSA, the splitmeet is still going! What fragrance are you wearing?
I’m in Hermès Le Jardin de Monsieur Li for what will probably be a rainy spring day. Tea at the moment is Meleng Estate Assam from Upton with a little milk and nutmeg. (I'm sure that's what was in Bob's cup too.)
Reminder: 5/27 is the start of Memorial Day weekend in the US. On Monday, we'll observe Memorial Day, but for today, we're celebrating the holiday's other meaning, as the unofficial beginning of summer. (In olden times, you could only wear white shoes between Memorial Day and Labor Day.) Wear something that fits your plans for Summer 2022! (If it's winter where you are, adjust accordingly.)
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2022, where I'll try (but obviously sometimes fail) to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.
Good morning.
Sotd is Bitter Peach.
Going to make NY Cheesecake today with extra thick biscuit base because skimping on biscuit is a sin.
Yum!😋
2nd. Save me a slice.
Drooling now.
When I skimmed that scent, I initially thought I’d was Bitter Bitc*…😅
save me some!
In bitter peach and making cheesecake..your kitchen must smell so good.
I’m in Dear Polly for teapot Tuesday. I do think I like this one better than Assam of India, although I no longer have any of the latter to do a side by side. This one is sweeter.
I’m taking madtownteen to get her passport this afternoon. Now all 3 of my kids will have a passport and I’ve never had one. lol. Goes to show how boring I am. In my own defense, I doubt I could handle the length of an international flight and the last time I was in Canada I didn’t need a passport to cross.
Anywho, she will need it for her trip this summer. She’ll be spending 2 weeks in Canada’s Quetico Provincial Park canoeing, camping and portaging. It’s the same trip her older sister did in 2017, and it was transformative. She’s counting down the days.🏕🛶
Wow, I didn’t know what portaging was, so had to google it and watch a video. That’s impressive! I hope she has a wonderful time on her trip.
https://youtu.be/3nYmwYcmtZ8
Thanks Nancyleandros! Yep, they usually portage in pairs which does make it a bit easier. She’s been a camper since she was 10, so she feels ready. My hope is for good weather! (And no bears😳)
What fun!
I hope so! I’ll live vicariously through the photos when she comes back.☺️
Sounds like a great trip, I would love to do something like that!
Me too! I really should plan a trip with my girls before they are fully off with lives of their own.
That sounds like an amazing trip! I’m hoping that Ockeghem Teen will be able to do something similar in a week-long kayaking camp in the next few years.
I think I may have figured out why I wasn’t seeing your emails…maybe if you can resend just *one* more time, I’ll get it?
Fun! Where will she go? My son did 2 weeks of sea kayaking in Georgian Bay several years ago.
I got your email! Yay!
So glad we were able to connect!
Her camp would be on the Sunshine Coast here in BC. It’s run by the camp she’s been going to for sleepaway camp for as long as she’s been going (the last two years were a loss but she’s going this summer!). For teens, they have sailing and kayaking camps, and the kayaking camp is up in Desolation Sound, a renowned marine provincial park that you can only get to by boat. I’ve just been on the edges of it, myself.
Georgian Bay would be lovely, though! I have, quite literally, dipped a toe into Georgian Bay, as a former manager had a house up there and hosted a team getaway (and there was a scavenger hunt, with photos, hence the toes).
https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews/natalie-warren/hudson-bay-bound/
This is a book I read about two women who set out in 2011 to canoe from Minneapolis to Hudson Bay. I think it would be okay for a teen reader and it’s a good tale of canoe life and nature while being entertaining and engaging (and not fuddy duddy).
They have a dog…which always helps!
Thanks Kanuka! I just put that in my Amazon cart, I’ll save it for her birthday in September. I think she would love it, and if there’s something she loves more than camp, it’s reading!
I hope it’s a great trip for her!
Thanks lillyjo!😊
What a cool trip for madtownteen! Hope it goes splendidly for her.
Thanks Jalapeño, me too!🤞🌞
Thanks everyone for your encouragement yesterday. The dentist can’t figure out what is going on. He thinks I may need another crown on the tooth I just had a filling in. Its just so sensitive to temperature I can’t chew on that side. So I shall make an appointment for that when I am feeling brave enough.
To make myself feel better I bought a book, The Switch by Beth O’Leary yesterday after my appointment. Though I am still reading A Little Life. And I have books piling up.
For the CP Royal Elixir, Ormonde Jayne
Sorry he doesn’t know what’s going on, but maybe that’s better than knowing you *need* a root canal….? For what’s it’s worth, I had a cavity filled once that was temperature sensitive for about a month after and then it finally settled down.
I was going to say the same as mtgirl- I have had crowns that took a couple of months to settle down. I would give it a little time (if you can).
Ok, thanks guys. I didn’t know this information ! I will see how it feels in the next few weeks.
Hope the tooth setyles down!
Sorry about your tooth. The pain can be so constant and distracting so I hope the book helps.
Books and perfume make me happy, but books are the cheaper option !
https://www.publishersweekly.com/9780063115408
Have you read this The Lovers by Paolo Cognetti. Set in a restaurant in the Italian alps.
No..
Have you read this?
Sounds right up my ally 🇮🇹
LTSG, I have had extra sensation in my teeth after a new epoxy filling has been put in. I did not notice that with the old metal ones I used to get. The odd feeling usually goes away after a week or two.
So maybe you just need a bit of time?
I also have experienced grouchy crowns — I have…seven???…in all (three root canals, ugh). At any rate, I hope that yours calms down soon and that you do not need any more treatment of it. But if you do need a root canal, I encourage you to go to an endodontist for it (vs. a regular dentist). It will be pricey no matter what, but the endo can do the whole procedure in a single visit, vs. the dentist who, at least in my experience, will need four or five separate visits.
Yesterday was Victoria Day in Canada: it’s always the second-last Monday in May, it’s a full-bore everything-is-closed holiday, it’s unofficially the start of summer (where I’m from, everyone goes camping, even though it’s *always* too cold), and weirdly, they don’t celebrate it at all in the UK (except Scotland). In some ways, Canada is more monarchical than Great Britain.
Apropos of nothing at all I’m wearing Tom Ford Black Orchid, so luxuriously dark on this bright sunny (but cold!) day.
Seems like I read somewhere recently that they were not fond of Charles, though? Maybe nobody is, I am not paying that much attention.
(And maybe that’s a political comment? In which case, I apologize for breaking my own comment policy. In the US, I think we mostly view the royals as fodder for gossip.)
Is anyone fond of Charles? We like William much better from what I can tell.
Americans certainly like William better, which is why on almost a weekly basis the supermarket tabloids have cover stories about how the Queen is declaring William to be the next king or how he and Kate are plotting to take the throne, completely ignoring the laws of succession, among other things. Nobody is particularly fond of Charles but he *is* next in line, and I expect the monarchists in Canada are just fine with that, because rules are rules.
I think Charles may call it a day before the Queen does. She’s made of sturdy stuff.
LOL about the USA supermarket tabloids – and I read *every* headline.
Yeah, he was in Canada briefly last week and I don’t think anyone was all that terribly excited, except the remote towns he visited. More the occasion for journalists to write articles about how people really don’t care for him or care much about the monarchy beyond some fondness for the Queen.
Robin — not a political comment, we have basically the same view of them as gossip fodder. (As ceremonial heads of state, the royals & their representatives are kinda not supposed to be political.) Basically what it comes down to is that no one really cares enough to bother to get rid of them.
Good. Did not mean to offend anybody.
Australia and NZ also “celebrate” Queens Birthday, first weekend of June, a public holiday. It’s doubtful we will become a republic any time soon.
Bob! 81!! Yowza…
I’m nekkid right now for a drug screen and physical this morning, then will spritz on something.
I had a retail therapy day yesterday to recover from my distressing Sunday. The Nordstrom at a local mall has scaled way back in their fragrance department, but I was able to try a couple at Sephora. Dirty Vanilla, which read to my nose camphor and vanilla. Not my vibe. Also Bergamusk by same company. Smelled citrus up front then a whole lot of nothing, so I must be anosmic.
Did make a couple purchases, but the best are these shoes that were made for me. I will take them off when I’m dead and not a moment before. So much FUN! They’re so 70’s with a nice chunky heel and fit my very high instep like a charm. When I’m done hiking in them, I can just hose them off! Seriously, these are making me inordinately happy! 😁
https://instagram.com/stories/vantasticviews/2845033685428805665?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
Those shoes are 70’s in the best way! I have Scandalwood from that brand and really like it.
Didn’t see that one there or I would have tried it, too. Did you find it Full Bottle Worthy?
They make 15 ml travel sprays, so I found it travel spray worthy, lol. I wish all brands did!
Nice! 👍🏼
Love those shoes!!! 🤩
No offense, Deva, but they remind me of a pair of Barbie Doll shoes that my mother let me buy when I was about 6. They were clear and sparkly like yours, with tiny high heels. How I loved them. And the pair of white vinyl go-go boots a few years later. Ah, youth! 😅
No offense taken! They are totally 100% kitsch and I’ll love them forever! They are fulfilling all my childhood dreams. 😍
😍 Good for you!
Anybody remember Candies? That’s what I thought of.
Yes, they were ubiquitous back in the day…
“By the mid 1980’s, sales of the Candie’s slides soared to 14 million pairs and one out of every four women in America owned a pair!”
Oh how I wish I still had my mother’s Candies!
👠 😍
Candies! Yeah, that’s a blast from the past.
Even I had a pair of Candies.
Definitely a blast from the past, mentioning Candies!
From the Heretic brand I’ve only tried a few, but I own Smudge and Coeur Noir. I believe Coeur Noir is discontinued though. Smudge is a nice incense scent.
I think Sephora must have recently started carrying them, at least in store. They had a very limited selection and I only saw the testers.
I loved those shoes. They look like Cinderella!
They have them is solid colors too, so I immediately went hunting for the nude/beige pair but it looks like they’re sold out everywhere….😢 I just bought a couple of maxi dresses for summer and these just go perfectly!
I cannot see the shoes – not instagram-savvy – but laughed very hard at your comment.
I really wanted to like Heretic perfumes but most were just “meh” . One – might have been Florgasm – smelled exactly like Good and Plenty candies. Ironically the only one I liked was the only “synthetic” , Scandalwood, which I purchased. I do want to try Smudge.
I am relaxing today after a very busy Monday, including 3 meetings for a total of 7 hours, finally ending at 10 PM. Today I am off after a half day of work this AM. . I know I have tons of household chores to do but I need some down time. Wearing Glossier You.
Well, I do love me some Good and Plenty! Never forget freshman year in high school when I happened to bite down on one and part of my tooth broke off. 🦷
Hope you enjoy your down time. You have certainly earned it! I cannot even imagine 3 meetings totaling 7 hours. I’d check out mentally at the 15 minute mark… 😬
Enjoy your new shoes, Deva, how cool they sound.
Thanks! I’ve already gotten a tiny blister but so worth it! 😂
Your shoes are awesome! It’s a good fit as well(I saw the Insta vid)!
I’ve been really struggling with finding comfortable workshoes(crocs are dead to me,my usual nikes get way too hot in summer,so I dunno….)
XO’s
I don’t know if you have them there, but there is a shoe I used to wear ALL THE TIME, at work and hiking. The brand is Altra and they are designed for trail running. Ha, no, I don’t do any of that! 😅They have a 0* drop but depending on the model, plenty of cushion and a wide toe box. Decent arch support and designed to be breathable. I’ve hiked in them in the rain and I just remove the insole and they’re dry the next morning. That porosity may be a pro or a con for you, but your feet will be well ventilated. Also, the outsole is extremely textured and grippy. When you step down you get that nice bounce back that returns some energy. They helped with my knees which is probably related arthritis. I wear the woman’s version of this:
https://www.altrarunning.com/shop/men/mens-timp-4-al0a547j?variationId=040
I usually get the “older” model for much cheaper on Amazon. Hope you can find something that works for you.
J B, do you have Merrill or Keen shoes in your country? Those might be an option for you if you do.
What? I love Crocs. In fact, I have Croc ballet shoes I used to take on cruises for when I wore dresses!
I’m wearing Lankaran Forest, since it was handy, and I love it. I bought a travel size, but I think I need a FB.
You smell great PriscillaE!
I ended up buying a FB of that one as well, it took a while to grow on me.
O gosh. I get nervous when you say you love and/or own a bottle. I almost always fall for it.
LOL! 🙂
I’m Cuir d’Ange for a morning of errands before the rain kicks in. Happy Tuesday everyone! 😊
We are cousins!
Yikes–it was sunny when I got up earlier this morning and now it’s very dark out, the wind and thunder and rain are coming, and it’s time to batten down the hatches!
I was out in all of that! More to come late tonight, too.
Husband is quickly trying to mow the lawn before our rain starts – so hard to plan strategically around all this rain!
We have that weather, too! Finally got a 48 hour no rain window and it was a mow- weed- and plant-o-rama yesterday and today! I might try to get some more seeds in the ground early tomorrow, but rain is expected back.
I’m in PdN Weekend á Deauville. Fit for the CP, and for a beautiful spring day.
Tea is my usual DIY blend, and I made a pot of double-strength Moroccan Mint from Upton to ice later.
I usually drink Moroccan Mint all summer but have not brewed a pot yet…time to get started!
Maybe it is!
Happy birthday to Bob Dylan! I’m wearing Violet Blonde in honor of Blonde on Blonde.
Perfect, quadruple points for you!
Violet Blonde is such a good one.
Excellent!
Great connection!
I totally forgot to wear perfume this morning. I am craving a comfort scent since I am at work and have a long day ahead. I ordered a sample of Hera , can’t wait to try it .
I hope it works for you. I can’t see how it wouldn’t since it’s named after you. 😉
I hope you love Hera!
Me too! Have a sample on the way!
Inspired by pyramus yesterday, I am smelling “carnationy” in L’Artisan Oeillet Sauvage
You smell fantastic. I’ve been hoarding a deluxe sample of that one. Side note — I found carnations at the nursery for the first time this year and put them in a pot. They smell amazing!
What a perfect springy gift to yourself!
Serious cabin fever here after two months of working on the house/yard and nearly continuous rain. We have a road trip planned for June 20th but I want to go NOW! Sigh. Trying to think of something to do to distract myself. Maybe I’ll throw more things away. At least it makes me feel like I’m accomplishing something. Wearing Mademoiselle Guerlain.
I love throwing things away/donating/gifting or otherwise lightening my load! 😀
Where are you headed in June? Hopefully somewhere nice and relaxing…
Road trip across Canada to Montreal.
Ah, hopefully you’re able to take you’re time and enjoy it. That’s quite the road trip! 🚙
Knowing my husband, it will be a cannonball run.
That sounds like an adventure! Do you have a route planned out? Perhaps a little perfume shopping along the way?
Pretty much TransCanada highway 1 all the way across. No perfume shopping until I get to Montreal, where the shopping is excellent. 🙂
June 20th will come soon enough!
cazaubon, I bet the shopping in Montreal is fabulous! Maybe this will be the year we finally visit. 🙂
SOTD is Amouage Gold for the last day without rain this week. Back to work…sigh. But someone’s coming to measure for a new blind for the girl cave, so I’m excited about that. We have a blackout Roman shade and blackout curtains in there, from when she was a baby and needed darkness in the summer, so now when she wants privacy (which is all the time) she closes the curtains and has to have the lights on in the middle of the day. This drives me nuts, with the cost of my Hydro bill lately! 🙂 So I’m hoping I can get a sheer shade that will give her privacy while letting in light.
Hope you find perfect shades!
I’ve been adding sheers gradually and they are great. We are very close to another house on the East side, so sheers keep it private but let in the lovely morning light. And, the full Moon too, when we leave the blackout shade up!
SOTD = Sonoma Scent Studio Incense Pure
For some reason, I thought this was meditation week but heh, just as good for a regular day!
Robin approved a 7th split for me and I just posted it. Please go take a look – it’s for BDK Gris Charnel Extrait.
In other news, there’s no news about the kidnapping I mentioned yesterday so here’s hoping it ended well.
I was hoping you’d update about that.
Thanks for the split, too!
Oh gosh! I’ve been wondering about that! Tried to google it and came up with nothing. People can be so nefarious and I very much hope she and her doggo are ok.
You’re wearing one of my favorite summer scents today!
I’m testing Dries Van Noten. Not loving it. I keep smelling multi-vitamin smell. Growing up in Berkeley, I am very familiar with this smell!!!!!
Finally getting to the FM sample bounty I got through the swapmeet. I am looking forward to trying the others. Always a relief when I clearly do not like something. 🙂
This AM I managed to check out the splitmeet. Missed Hera. 🙁 Too lazy to do a split myself, but if anyone winds up buying a bottle and wants to split some–lemme know!
Gaynor’s gave me a box of samples and unfortunately I loved several of them BUT fortunately I lack the determination to make proper notes or follow through with orders. I simply recline on the couch and occasionally reach out absentmindedly and pluck another perfume from the box, dab and repeat…until “all gone”. Look of greedy satisfaction.
Bah! Who needs to plant every flower they admire? Perfume surfing on the couch is a completely legitimate sport. And all the better when it ends with greedy satisfaction. Here, here!
Plus, pretty sure that one is discontinued so just as well you don’t like it!
I didn’t love that one either: cat pee is what I got.
Oh dear. Vitamin cabinet to litterbox . . . not too promising. Perhaps connected to its discontinued status me thinks (see Robin’s comment above).
Roberto Cavalli Paradiso and a cup of Honey Breakfast tea.
Tea in paradise?
Honey Breakfst sounds good!
The weather can’t decide if it’s going to be cloudy or sunny today, so I was undecided about fragrance. I went with a no-brainer from the back of the shelf, Estee Lauder Sensuous Nude.
You smell great Gail! Here it is just decidedly cloudy 🙂
Young Bob’s face is me before my morning Irish Breakfast. Same, my man, same.
SOTD: Marigold and Cane sugar from BBW- a great way to wake up on an overcast day.
LOL — it is QUITE a face, no? I am close but he beats me.
That is a great name for a perfume! Might have to check around…
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fx2qhbPqu8A
I heard this (Lone Pilgrim) other day and thought of you Robin …such a mellow song and one I wasn’t so familiar with.
Too early here. The dogs have been waking at 4am and ready for action. I think the strong gusty wind whistling around stirs them up. Once fed they go back to sleep and I don’t. At least we have hot water again …though cold showers certainly wake you up. Wearing Gabrielle Essence, nicer than the original I think. Smoother, more like Jour de Hermes .
Lovely, thanks so much Kanuka!
I have never spent enough time with his 90s folk albums, although I always liked the video for Blood in my Eyes, which I think is from the same album as Lone Pilgrim.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nz542iQchN4
Hot water is a very good thing.
I really liked Blood in my Eyes and had forgotten about it.
Wearing Loccitane Bergamot Tea today and watching The Vicar of Dibley 3rd season.I recently discovered this series and so needed the lovely humor it brings.
Your fragrance sounds lovely
Scent: trying out Fig Tea from a sample. This is one that I circle back to sometimes – reviews for it are really good, but I’ve been slow to appreciate it. I’m very close to getting my hands on a decant so that I can get a better take.
Other Pursuits: Decluttering craft supplies. I’ve had some supplies sitting around for years, but had the classic mental problems around getting rid of them (sunk cost, intention, sell vs donate, etc). So here’s the perfume link: I watched a LuckyScent livestream, and at one point, they were laughing about diving into a new hobby and buying All The Things. For whatever reason – perhaps because these people are just likeable and seem pretty normal- that opened the door on letting go of my unused hoard. I’m *extremely* grateful, and delighted that the pursuit of one hobby helped me better manage others!
Good on you for decluttering! I somehow keep adding things to collect and I need to stop 🛑!
Thanks for sharing that experience, how nice! I find all the LS reviewers very personable.
Happy Tuesday!(although the day is basically over here,21:24pm)
SOTD!
I rarely “crave” a perfume or note, but in the chill of early winter and after experiencing a rather lovely clove/carnation scent this weekend,I was truly craving something in that field….
Guerlain L’Heure Bleu edp.
I also read a really really stupid piece on the melancholy of a certain bigbrand perfume(supposedly),and in the comment section this one was mentioned quite a lot,and there I must agree. But boy is it beautiful, and inspiration to wear some other lovelies from my Guerlain stash again.
Sending hugs!
Please send sunshine and warmer temps back, thank you.
Haha!
XO’s
Wishing you sunshine, l’HB is also mysterious in vintage form, the newer one is fluffy, I think.
🌞🌻🌷😊
Love L’heure bleue! Haven’t worn it in a while — you’re inspiring me.
You said it! L’Heure Bleue is in a class of its own.
Inquiring minds want to know – what was the clove/carnation scent? Verdict?
It was Dior Homme Intense, the last bottle I will purchase this quarter, tonight in Oriza L. Legrand Relique d’Amour, the strange and to my nose wonderful perfume, it is a gift from my brother who arrived this evening, so excited to catch up, he will be here through the Platinum Jubilee, lots of fun in store. He also gifted me the Oriza Mimosa Doré soap. Oh the glory of it and the packaging is superb, all in yellow.
On my! What fabulous gifts! Can he be my brother, too? 😉 I’ve been curious about RdA. What’s your take on it?
😃 It’s very floral with a beautiful lily note which goes so well with the incense on a woody base with that mysterious encaustic note, lightly spicy too.
Oh yay! It’s so nice he is visiting.
Thank you Lillyjo, so happy he’s here.
Ah, Relique d’Amour makes my heart go pitter-pat! Your brother has fantastic taste in perfume. 😍
It’s so unique but easy to wear at the same time.
Enjoy his visit! How nice he brought you perfumed gifts.😊
Thank you so much, I’ve been lucky in the brother department.
Lucky you…enjoy your visit! And do report back on the soap!
Thank you Robin, the soap is shea butter, so very moisturising apart from smelling wonderful.
Nice.
How wonderful of your brother! I actually just finished a bar of Mimosa Dore and liked it a lot. I’ve enjoyed all the soaps I’ve used from Oriza.
These soaps are in a league of their own, aren’t they.
Hello everyone!
Just read what CP for this week is and I am glad it fits my choices 🙂
The temperatures are high these days and I am craving citrus scents.
This morning I was sampling Memo Paris KEDU and it was quite enjoyable (the first time I tried it some months ago I didn’t like it at all, so it may be one of those perfumes I can wear only in summer).
And for my evening run, I went with Essential Parfums Nice bergamot, which for me is a lovely summery scent.
I wish there was a straight up bergamot perfume that gives you nothing but bergamot in the beginning, middle, and end, forever and ever, amen! I love that note, it’s so optimistic.
Song of the Day (for Robin!): https://youtu.be/vUXhoIf1eQU
Did a bit of container gardening cleanup today. Removed the dead blackberry cane and pruned back one of the sage plants. The patio occupants are looking much better now. 😉🌿🍃
SOTD = No. 5 L’Eau EdT again.
Did the cats try and join you on the patio?
Nope! The cats have learned that outside = bad!
I read that as “join you on the piano?” 😂 and then I thought of this…. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BVGi7h2NTOg
🤣🤣🤣!
No piano here! I have no musical talent to speak of.
🤣 I could watch this over and over! One of my favorite bits!
Good for you on your container gardening clean up! And yay again in L’Eau!
I still have more work to do on the sage, but it no longer looks like a tangle of dead sticks! And there is new growth in that container, so it isn’t a lost cause.
Johnny Winter! Now there’s a blast from the past. Still Alive and Well was one of my favorite albums, about 3 million years ago. Thanks Jalapeno.
In Aura body cream and edp today. So much good stuff over at the Splitmeet, and me with last meet’s splits to catch up on! But Aura called to me. I like it in the way it seems lots of folks like fresh colognes. I don’t do well with citrus and herbal notes at large. But even the hint of mint in edp doesn’t put me off.
Muglers body creams are so nice. They have a good deal on the Angel body cream right now. It is tempting me.
Who has the Angel body cream? That sounds wonderful!
Mugler USA website.
Okey-dokey!
I’ve only used Mugler’s Aura body cream and it is very good. I’m on my second jar. Don’t see it at mugerl.com just now.
Thanks to a generous nster I am wearing Amalia. A very pretty and happy jasmine. Perfect for the nice spring weather I have today. 🌞
A happy lillyjo! I don’t know that perfume.
I am at work and can’t remember the house but I will post it tomorrow.
Yay for a perfect perfume & weather match!
Yeah 2 nice days in a row!
Happy 81st, Bobby D! I’m in Borneo 1834 on this rainy, chilly day.
Life is sad
Life is a bust
All ya can do is do what you must
You do what you must do and you do it well.
Love that one 🙂
It was a scorcher today, we turned on the AC for the first time at our new place. And I wore Luten’s L’Eau, which I have not pulled out in years. Eecks, too many fragrances!
Same here–have fragrances at the back of the cupboard that have not seen the light in ages!
