Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Sakura Blossom ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 2 March 2021 5 Comments

Elizabeth Arden has launched Green Tea Sakura Blossom, the latest in their series of flankers to 1999's Green Tea.

Inspired by Sakura trees that bloom for just a brief moment in springtime, this scent captures the beauty of silken flower petals, brought to life in a wondrous natural display. It opens with a refreshing lightness, a signature as luminous as that of a sunlit cherry grove, before mellowing into an accord of sweet almond, crisp bergamot and florals entwined with White Sakura Tree Blossom and fresh Green Tea — a bright composition to delightfully awaken your senses.

Green Tea Sakura Blossom was developed by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux; additional notes for the musky floral citrus include mandarin, violet leaf, jasmine, peony, ambrette, birch and musks.

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Sakura Blossom is available in 50 or 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

What are your favourite Elizabeth Arden Green Tea flankers, either for cuteness of the bottle or the iteration of the scent? I bought a bottle of the Honeysuckle for a few cents in perfume-math, and I would say it’s in the middle for both counts.

I don’t have a favorite, I never see testers and won’t buy them unsniffed. Curious about the fig! And hope someone else will chime in.

I am curious about the fig also! I have enough fig scents.
I miss Healing Garden’s Green Tea scent, that was my favorite – it was great for a drug store scent!

I recently discovered White Tea perfume oil (formerly of Body Time), now called Perfectly Scentsable. It’s long-lasting, cheap as chips and is a perfect dupe for Bvlgari Au the Blanc. I’d love it if they had a green tea version. :)

I have the Green Tea Lavender version. It’s great for those days when I want a scent that’s light and not sweet. Plus, I love purple.

I like Green Tea I it’s cool slightly sweet style for spring and summer and Spiced Green Tea is a little woodier and I like it in fall and winter. Recently repurchased some from eBay after a long while of not having them. Perfect inoffensive office/car ride scents.
