Shiseido Ginza ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 22 February 2021 2 Comments

Shiseido has launched Ginza, a new fragrance for women.*

Discover the spirit of Ginza, the lively soul of Tokyo, the origin of Shiseido. Ginza, the fragrance for women who assume their femininity and all its paradoxical facets: subtle yet intense, delicate yet strong, wise yet passionate. A fragrance that encourages women to express their femininity, celebrate their duality and unleash their unsuspected power.

The natural elegance of floral scents combines with the intensity of sacred wood notes to produce a perfectly balanced blend. At the heart of the bouquet, jasmine delicately unfolds its most sumptuous facets. Magnolia and Japanese orchid petals join in the dance, sharpened by the hinoki wood. At once strong and gentle, the scent of this sacred Japanese cypress recalls the intensity of patchouli and the depth of sandalwood.

On the skin, this woody floral fragrance is as feminine as it is vibrant: decidedly unique.

Additional notes include freesia.

Shiseido Ginza is available in 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Toilette.

*Not to be confused with The Ginza, recently launched by a Shiseido-owned skincare brand, or 2017's Ever Bloom Ginza Flower.

Seriously. Or we’ve run out of places…perfume wise, Japan does not get a lot of geographic coverage. Kyoto, Tokyo, (Oyedo), Ginza, Harajuku…there must be others but I can’t think of them right now.
