Hump Day and National Apple Day. Birthdays today: Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Celia Cruz, Dizzy Gillespie and Ursula Le Guin. What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm in Hermès Kelly Caleche.
Reminder: on 10/23, wear a floriental, if you have one.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2020, where I'll try (but frequently fail) to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

Robin, have you (or other commenters) tried Numi’s Aged Earl Grey?
Every Christmas I try to send my aunt Kusmi’s Earl Grey Intense, which is her very favorite, but it’s not always in stock. Wonder if this would be an acceptable substitute?
For myself, will give their breakfast blend a try. Today it’s Harney’s Hao-Ya “b.”❤
I have! In general, I like all of Numi’s teas, and this one is no exception. But even though I have drunk many teas, I am not familiar with the Kusmi line so can’t offer a direct comparison.
From Numi, I like that their flavored teas don’t contain extra natural flavorings. They do a really interesting, very sour lime one as well.
Hope this helps! (my favorite brand right now is Smith Teamaker, and Fortnum and Mason).
Forgot about Fortnum & Mason, thanks for the reminder.
and you can get them at Williams Sonoma…drinking “Jubilee” as I type.
But sadly not the one I like–the elderflower green tea
I hear you Koyel – my favorite is “Rose Pouchong” – also not to be had here.
Yes, I love the Aged Earl Grey…it has a really strong, non-fake bergamot flavor. Actually after I bought a bulk bag, I had to talk myself into drinking my other Earl Greys (including several variations by Kusmi).
My second favorite would be Fortnum & Mason — I like the Smoky Earl Grey and the Countess Grey.
Upton’s Extra Bergamot Earl Grey is also good, but does not come in giftable packaging, and once you taste the Numi really all the others just taste fake.
Good, thanks for the info & the Countess Grey packaging is lovely & gift-worthy.
F&M’s Lady Grey is my favorite tea! A little extra bergamot for an afternoon uplift!
Today’s floriental is Alahine. Warm, sweet and comforting.
Oh, man, that one is fantastic, and you smell great!
It is a pity it does not last long on me. It is a good scent indeed!
Alahiiiiiine! You smell wonderful!
Thank you. I have been curious for a long time: who started to call Alahine “Alahiiiiiiine”? Is there a story behind it?
Well, I started doing that to keep autocorrect from autocorrecting the name to something else (and now my autocorrect has learned “Alahine” is a word and leaves it alone so I can’t even tell you what it used to try to correct it to). But I believe I read several years ago that there were some long-time NSTers who used to holler Alahiiiiiine! at each other – Mals86 may have been one of them, and perhaps whoever it was will chime in.
In that case…. Alahiiiiiine!!!!
I associate the word Alahiiiiine!!! with Mals86!Long time no see,I hope she is doing OK.
You smell super good.
Oh you do smell divine.
Commando for now. We’ve got a plumbing problem around here, and it makes it harder to wear perfume. I’ve been using a lot of lavender candles and perfume lately.
Robin, which version of Kelly Caleche are you wearing? (inquiring [enquring?] minds want to know)
Yikes. Is the problem in your house? Or just the area?
I *so* wish it wasn’t actually my house…but it is. We’re working on it, but it’s been a weird thing to track down. Pretty much no matter what we do with it, it’s going to be $$$.
The original EdT!
Lovely! As I recall, I liked them both. Haven’t tried either one in a long time, though. Hmmm…..
Good Morning All! Happy Hump Day.
My SOTD is Wild Fig & Cassis by Jo Malone. It’s a great fall scent. Hope everyone is having a good week! I’m off to Vegas tomorrow for the next few days and super excited about it. I feel like a kid on Christmas ??
Ooh yes, I would be excited too!? I’ve never been to Vegas, but it’s definitely on my bucket list.
I’ve gone a few times….but, it’s been over 15 years. So, it’s all brand new for me again.
Las Vegas seems to reinvent itself every 5 or 10 years. I had a layover there last year, and was amazed at how different The Strip looked from what I saw via the airport runways from my previous trip.
I’m the world’s most grown-up fruity floral, Le Parfum de Therese. Unless I’m missing one…. I am not surprised how much I like it, though I am a bit surprised that I prefer vintage Diorella EdT. I wish I could go back in time and try Delrae’s Emotionelle side by side. Anyone got an old sample lying around? ?
I opened my hinoki yarn today! The strength of the smell surprised me a bit. It doesn’t hit you in the face from across the room but, if you hold it to your nose, it is definitely there. It almost had a creamy facet that’s missing in most hinoki accords. Can’t wait to cast on.
Have a great day all!
Love LPdT, you smell great Coumarin!
“cast on” are two of my favorite words. Enjoy your new yarn.
Agree! There is something so fun about casting on and starting a new project…..
While I have more yarn. In my house than I can possibly knit in the next 10 years, I will need to investigate hinoki yarn….
I’ve bought more yarn this year than the past 4 combined! ?
Here’s the link. Incredibly addictive site, be warned!
OMG I really should not have looked at that website. Checking my bank balance as we speak.
Just bookmark it for later! There will always be cool stuff. No rush!
Sounds like me and puzzles. I anxiety bought during The Great COVID Puzzle Shortage of spring 2020. Then I took on a 2nd gig. Now I have a ridiculous stockpile that I loan out to the neighborhood. Oh, well! Cheaper than perfume…
Haha, yes! I didn’t hoard anything luckily but have added quite a few new perfumes….
Me too! Sadly I’m currently 900yards into a sweater on size 3 needles. It’s beautiful but I’m ready to be done!
You are brave, Coumarin. When I see a pattern that calls for size 3 needles I keep looking. I simply have no patience anymore! But the yarn sounds lovely.
I’m doing it freeform, top down. Even a 4 was too transparent. I’ve got over 200 stickers so far, luckily just knits so the way. It’s a gorgeous deep purple merino mohair.
Knitting! Another rabbit hole- I have a list of dozens of knitting projects I will never have time to make. What are you making with this very interesting yarn?
I’m thinking a tee, since the yarn is mostly cotton. It will breathe beautiful. It’s the most beautiful birchwood color so I want to give it an interesting texture over color.
Sounds lovely. It is always a trick to be making the summer T in the winter, and be working on the wooly cardigan in the summer.
Absolutely. After my second week sweater I realized I will probably only wear them once a year! So tees seem more sane.
Here in Michigan I wear turtleneck sweaters for months in the winter. I have like three that I have started, and then put away when the weather warmed up and I had not finished them. I need to be more disciplined. I have a couple linen tees started also. I need to be more disciplined and finish some of the ones I have before I start new ones, I suppose.
Sometimes I find just singing the yarn into a ball satisfies my craving to start a new project. But I definitely have a crochet projecting I’m half-a**ing at the moment too…
keep us posted how it “knits” (is that the word? I’m not really a knitter).
Definitely is a term! Usually to describe how a yarn looks as part of the fabric (texture, softness, halo).
Wow — hinoki yarn! I had no idea it existed. Hmm…must investigate…despite the fact that I just finished one Icelandic sweater for my kid and now have yarn for two more for me. They don’t smell, though!
So cute! My mom know toddler me sweaters but she didn’t keep any of them.
Enabler pin! I do think I’ll have to order some of that for my stash.
Yeah, I’ve been keeping all the stuff I’ve knitted for my kid over the years, and the stuff her grandma knitted for her. Someday she may want it…or she may look at it an throw it all out, who knows.
It’s a beautiful yarn. So soft too.
I enjoy reading about your knitting, Coumarin! My sister had the original Barbie doll with the blond pony tail and my mom knit Barbie a fashion ensemble of dress, jacket and halo hat out of wool. On toothpicks. I need to breathe into a paper bag just thinking about it.
How fun! Tiny is not my MO though. ?
Now that’s a project to pull out of your bag when you’re riding the bus… imagine the double takes!
You smell delicious today! I also love Diorella! Although I do own quite a few of the Delrae perfumes, I’m afraid Emotionelle is not one of them, so I can’t help you with that.
Thank you! I appreciate the thought. I might have to make a formal inquiry into this Emotionelle business….
Good Morning and happy Hump day! My SOTD is Knowing by Estee Lauder. One of my favorite floral/patchouli scents.
Come to think of it, I may do a week of chypre/florals – Aromatics Elixir (both Perfume and EDT – the EDT is less herbal and has more patchouli), Coriandre, Paloma Picasso, Niki de St Phalle, and Diorissimo are on the list…
Enjoying a French Press and munching on a Honey Crisp, my favorite variety of apple. In honor of apple day, I found this intriguing article about apples.
Oh I love a floral Chypre! Knowing doesn’t sit quite right on my skin but Aromatics Elixir, Y….
Those are gorgeous scents Coumarin. It’s been years since I’ve worn/smelled Y.
Have you fried Aromatics Elixir in edt formulation? I prefer it to the parfum (in the frosted bottle).
I think so? I have done vintage spray minis that are in clear glass. They’re way more floral than my frosted 2007 bottle.
Sad, but with the IFRA changes, I now consider 2007 semi-vintage!
I had the Aromatics Elixir Velvet Sheer, it was gorgeous!
Oh, that’s interesting! I don’t get floral from the spray mini that I have. The EDT Aromatics Elixir that I have is so heavy on the patchouli, in a good way, of course!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh……Knowing is so good!
Yes! It totally fits the bill for today!
Oof, how can I forget a favorite? Jour Ensoleillé by Sonoma Scent Studio is also a gorgeous scent for Fall.
Honey crisp is my favorite too. I have one every morning with almond butter.?
YUM! I do love almond butter.
Make that macadamia butter and we have breakfast served.?????
Wow, that must be super-rich!
*Clinks bottles* for Knowing. Wearing the newest version; I like it!
I’m continuing the CP in L’Artisan Oeillet Sauvage.
Everyone is getting more points than me, that’s for sure!
You’re not alone, Robin!
For the CP Twilly by Hermes..
I am going to use my scarf tying cards a generous NSTer sent to me to wear a fun scarf to match.
Waiting for a book to come to me today, someone, last year I think recommended Aristotle and Dante discover secrets of the universe. And my friend just dropped off two books, one is City of Girls the other is You should have known. My book pile is getting bigger..
Restored faith in humanity: A neighbor I have send me a message that she has bought my kids halloween candy, since halloween is cancelled this year, and she doesn’t feel comfortable coming to my place so she left a bag outside of her door. Inside, instead of the regular miniatures she bought my kids chocolate ghost lolly pops and bags of mini fun shaped candies, as if she went to a little speciality chocolate shop! Melted my heart!
Go Team Hermes! You smell beautiful.
You smell lovely! And what a lovely gift from your neighbor.
what a sweet neighbor! In our little circle, some of the moms of the younger kids are organizing a craft afternoon instead on Halloween.
What a lovely neighbour! We are having Halloween here, but lots of people are building candy slides / chutes to maintain social distancing. Sounds like a nice idea, but we don’t get that many kids who come into our little development — I think I’ll just go with the recommended tongs for distributing.
LOVELY, that restored my faith too.
That’s wonderful and kind of your new neighbor!
Smelling lovely over there!
Need pics of the scarf knots asap!Hehe!
So sweet of your neighbor. I’m hoping to get some kids at my house this year, I love Halloween!
Good morning Y’all,
Doing the powdery fresh thing in Guerlain L’Instant EDP. Good stuff!
oops! Guerlain L’Instant MAGIC EdP!
I’m wearing Incense Oud (by Kilian) today and have been wearing it more often to work lately. I was surprised to discover that rose is listed in the notes. I can’t say I’ve smelled rose when wearing it and I’m close to finishing a 50 mL bottle. But maybe that’s why I like it so much (I tend to enjoy incense/rose/light oud compositions). Alas, they have discontinued it.
Doesn’t BK also make a Rose Oud? I think I have a decant of that one and love it.
They do. I like it too but sometimes it’s too syrupy of a rose and I find that a little goes a long way. So little that I still have my store sample from years back, about a third full ?
Since Fragrantica—rightly or wrongly—has classified Cuir Ottoman as floriental, I’m rolling with it. A few more PdE samples came in yesterday and I am loving them all: Azemour les Orangers, Ambre Russe, Wazamba.
I’m wearing this, too, and thought I was CP non-compliant. Thanks!
That Azemour is absolutely the best! Mmmm!
Isn’t it? I just doused myself from a dabber sample that I’ll surely thunk this week. And I’m a really slow thunker.
You smell super wonderful!
All of the above are on my FB wishlist now
SotD = Hiris
From the older blue bottle. Yes to Hermes! It feels good to spend time with this old friend again. I should do a personal Hermes week. A little bottle of Twilly is calling my name.
Happy birthday to Ursula. She was my science fiction gateway author when I was a young reader. I started her Earthsea books and never finished. Maybe it’s time.
Time to get this Wednesday started. No time like the present, eh? Have a wonderday day, everyone!
You smell great tiffanie !
thank you, Barqs!
hey house twin!
My daughter just started Earthsea, on the recommendation of the stylist who’s been cutting her hair since she was quite small. Heidi clearly knows my daughter well — she’s liking Earthsea!
wonderful! It makes me so happy that Earthsea feels like it will always have an audience.
Some day I will cave and buy a FB of Hiris. I love it. And you smell great!
same! I adore Hiris, and I knew it was just a matter of time until I clicked “buy.” Have never regretted it.
You are smelling fabulous!
Well, as it is national apple Day, I simply have to comment. SOTD is Eau Première. On most days my feet hardly touch the grond but I’m still enjoy the work, so that is all good.
Good to hear you enjoy work!
I haven’t had much time or energy to check in here lately so I have missed quite a lot….i hope your are settling in well. ?
Yep, mostly. Sometimes this whole pandemic and settling in a foreign country gets me down but that seems inevitable.
Smelling classy today!
Happy mid-week everyone!
Wednesday has been my training day for the last couple of weeks and so it is today.
Wearing Dusita Fleur de Lalita today, I suppose it’s a floriental. Fragrantica knows it as oriental-floral so I guess it works?
You smell great. I love Fleur de Lalita, such an uplifting scent.
Killian Amber Oud. Yum.
Knitting! I found an adorable sweater pattern based on RBG’s dissent collar- thinking I will make it in a nice dark sapphire blue cashmere/alpaca blend, and use ecru with little sparkly beads or a gold thread for the neckline contrast color, or maybe mohair to up the halo factor.
You smell yum indeed!
Oooh, lovely sweater idea!
Wow, that’s an ambitious plan that sounds like it will look so fabulous!
Annick Goutal Nuit Etoilee. I always feel so uplifted when I wear this fragrance.
Do you have the EdT or the EdP?
Both. Today I wore the edp
I’m in Cuir Ottoman today, after Merlin noticed yesterday that fragrantica classifies it as an oriental floral. I believe we both disagreed vehemently with that classification, but then I decided I should really put some on and see if I truly disagree. Yup, Cuir Ottoman is definitely a leather fragrance with floral flourishes. Since I now feel justified in setting my own definition of “floriental”, my world of CP-compliant fragrances has widened considerably (although I will probably still wear Alahine on Friday).
I love Cuir Ottoman but fragrantica is so wrong saying it’s a floriental, lol.
Irisy leather is not a floriental…
Some other ones that I wasn’t convinced by: La Mia Perla, Amande Persane, Imogen Rose… But overall there were far more that I would have categorised as floriental that they did not!
Oh – and you smelled great today – floriental or not I love Cuir O but cannot wear it due to a slight melancholic tone. Le Sigh.
“Le sigh” is right – qu’elle dommage! I, on the other hand, am very happy wearing it and have now pressed the order button for a small bottle of it. More to confess at Donatella’s next visit.
Congratulations on your new sweet suede beauty!
Ah, I love that characterization! What a great way to describe a perfume.
Wearing La Perfumerie Moderne Belles Rives. Sample thunk! Pretty and comfy iris scent!
Having a cup of coffee and a slice of apple pie to celebrate apple day! ??.
Happy Wednesday! ?
Happy Wednesday to you! I do not know your perfume but I’m sure you smell lovely.
Thank you Adanst! ?
I found some caramel-apple flavored popcorn at the grocery store today, so maybe that counts for Apple Day? ?
Of course, it counts! Now I need to look for that caramel-apple flavored popcorn. It sounds good! ??
Wore Theorema pre-shower and now in Orange Star. It looks like it’s going to be another cold, rainy day here.
We had fog this morning and then fog again tonight…
Wasn’t sure what to wear, so Eau premiere is my SotD.
My parents live in the northern part of the state and got 5 inches of snow yesterday! No snow here thankfully and the sun is trying to peek through.???
I heard about the snow. I think the U.P got some too. I might see some by Halloween though, which is not unheard of.
Yeah, I would guess that they did. My parents live-and I grew up- about 10 miles south of the Michigan border.
Not unheard of for us to have some by Halloween either, I’m not ready!?
Wow, where was that? My parents lived only 3 miles south of the border, in Howe. Anywhere near there? Have you been to Shipshewana?
Oh, I meant south of the UP of Michigan border in northern Wisconsin.?
Oh, gotcha! In fact, that”s also where my brother and sister-in-law now live! A little town called Goodman. The closest bigger place is Iron Mountain.
You smell beautiful.
“No brainer” perfumes to the rescue!
Thunked another sample and doing the CP in a Guerlain flanker with a ridiculously long name – L’Instant de Guerlain Eau de Noel Iris Millesime. It’s from 2005, and I’m pretty sure no more bottles can be found. But that’s fine because it really just smells like many other Guerlains. A very pretty, easy perfume for the mid-week slump.
Oh, and I do have a honeycrisp apple that needs to get eaten. Maybe I’ll have it with some peanut butter later for a snack.
Apple with peanut butter is one of my favorite snacks – you’ve inspired me to go see if we have any apples around. Yum!
Apples and pb are a delicious combination!
Shalimar Vanille, from a little generous decant from the swap meet! It’s good – but lucky for me, I prefer my vintage edc and pdt, which are easier/cheaper to find. Happy Wednesday!
The edc remains my favorite version of Shalimar.Lemony-vanilla goodness!!
The edc and pdt are soooo good!
hello nsters, some quick sprays of Sycamore. It’s foggy and chilly this am so its the first chance I have had to wear it in a year.
Sycomore is lovely!
In Sycomore too! Smelling good
Oh yum Sycomore, One of my favourites! ???
You smell lovely !
Floriental isn’t one I have much of — but Fragrantica lists Lyric as a floriental, so I’ll save that for Friday since I just have small samples. I went for just “floral” today in Tauer Sotto la Luna Tuberose. I needed something pleasant to get through a 5.5 hour (!!) discovery meeting today.
Lyric is a fabulous perfume!
Yes! That’s why I’m trying to eke out as much as possible from my sample. I do think that one’s full bottle-worthy, someday when I have a windfall. Doubt we’re getting bonuses this year, though, sadly.
I can’t remember if Beautyencounter or Fragrancenet does offer some travel sets of Amouage. It’s a little cheaper that way.
Lyric is FABULOUS and totally fb worthy!!
SoTD is Amouage Fate. Not sure it counts towards the CP but I needed the smooth comfort it offers. Saving Diorella/Diorissmo and Ubar for the rest of the week. Must get some Alahiiine!
Happy Wednesday to all.
I remember eons ago we talked about Amouage Sunshine, what did you think of it?
You didn’t ask me, but I loathed Sunshine, positively gagged!
I thought it to be pretty, maybe a little boring for an Amouage.
I didn’t love it. I have a sample but didn’t go for a FB. Didn’t care for Bracken either.
So nice to talk to you again Johanob! I wrote you a letter eons ago, just found it on my desktop :0
I remember!Lovely to reconnect,but I know…Life!
My email is my nst username at vodamail dot co dot za,pop me a mail sometime!
I will send email!
I’d call Fate an oriental floral, so you’re good!
Twins with tiffanie today in Hermes Hiris.
Hiris is great!
Wearing Dior Addict, which Fragrantica calls “oriental with floral notes.” I definitely don’t think floral, just vanilla, but ok.
Watched a really good movie on TCM called “A Woman in White” starring June Allyson. I think it’s a true story? It’s about a woman who wants to be a medical doctor late in the 1800s in NYC and the difficulties she faced from all sides. Girls today should watch it to see what professional women faced during women’s suffrage. The ambulance scenes in a horse drawn carriage are amazing.
I don’t get any floral from Addict. Just creamy vanilla. I think it’s perfect.
I loved everything about that scent except the name…
Twins! Do you have current or vintage? Mine is vintage from a generous swap. I don’t recall what I have up for it.
That should be “gave up”
Mine is current. I love the vintage but the current is good too – it purrs instead of growls
I’m wearing L’Aromatica Almond Kulfi, just because the sampler bottles are on my desk and near to hand. Another go go go go day today!
Happy hump day, all.
Hope the “go” part is over and you’re resting now!
I’m wearing Noir Exquis, which Fragrantica classifies as an oriental vanilla, and craving a slice of this pie: apple green-chile with cheddar crust (NYT). Happy Humpday, everyone!
Nice! I have a decant … somewhere!
Another Guerlain for me today, L’Heure Bleue is on the Fragrantica list.
L’heure Bleue is wonderful!
Oh, hey — then I can play with this CP. I will pull that one out tomorrow!
In Penhaligon’s Artemisia which Fragrantica calls an oriental. I agree more with someone commenting that it smells more like an aromatic Fougère. Or a powdery floral, or a woody something. Sure there is vanilla in it but I can’t get on board with it being an oriental
I wish it were still possible to find all of Michael Edwards’ classifications online.
Yes, he is regarded as the most authoritative, right? It seems that he classifies it as a soft floral – since his site matches it to four other ‘soft florals’, further described as crisp, citrus, fruity. Cuir Ottoman is matched to ‘dry woods’, or ‘classical’. I can see how this site would be fun:
HA, I use that site all the time and just posted it this morning on today’s poll, but it used to be that it let you search by family and it doesn’t any more.
It is not just that he is most authoritative, but that for many years, he was the only one doing what he does: going around, smelling everything, classifying it by smell.
I was told he had trained others, but I don’t know if there are now other people doing this. He must be near retirement.
Black Orchid in perfume concentration (from a sample)
I think its softer (less loud) than the edp (i own and wear a lot in winter). It also feels darker, more earthy, lower pitch, a prominent booze/edible note?
I actually like it a lot! Perfect scent for autumn.
I really want to try this concentration.
Me too. Sephora May have it and I feel a large sample coming. Holiday sale is just around the corner!
I know Sephora has it online, but last I checked it wasn’t available to sniff at the one near me.
“Google, why is Wednesday called Hump day?”
The answer was unexpected,I kinda hoped for a good chuckle…lol.
“Personal Space” from the local cheapie brand Amzloves.Uneventful, but bearable in the heat.
Well Happy Hump Day people!???
Happy Wednesday! I’m just glad my work day is almost over ha!
I can’t google right now, but hump day makes me think of camels. Every week ?
At the front desk of another company in our building, the receptionist has a beanie-baby-like Bactrian camel that she sets on her desk each Wednesday! Since COVID, I forgot that I used to go in and pet it and chat with her (I too am at the front desk in our office) so we sort of bonded. Go team for camel!
Oooh — I love the camel idea!
lol.. that Geico commercial!
People of the Labyrinths AMAZE. A pretty rose. Yesterday was Moon Bloom.
Feeling pretty blah today, friends. Just ready to get this week over with, ugh!
Yes to ending this week/month/year!!!
Thirding! This week has been an especially draining one.
I’m wearing Amouage Honour Woman which Fragrantica lists in the Oriental Floral category. Any excuse to wear this beauty!
A link to this article turned up on a philosophy blog I read and I thought people on this list might find it as fascinating as I did.
Here is one little tidbit from it: “Our nose is tuned to detect blends of different chemicals—coffee aroma, for example, consists of 800 different compounds.”
SOTD = Dior Addict
Someone mentioned it’s a floriental so I went with it! Vanilla!
Off to go for a walk while it’s still light out.
We were almost twins. I debated between Addict and Muse. Hope you had a good walk.
I could easily have worn Muse as well!
How was your walk tonight?
Walk was good but I lament how much shorter it had to be before it started to get dark. I don’t even know if working 7:00-4:00 or thereabouts will give me enough daylight for long. Walking prior to work or during lunch is just not practical.
Summer-like weather here today. I even turned on the A/C late this afternoon! ????
SOTD = commando today. I went to the grocery store and decided against wearing any perfume. But I am wearing a bit of scented lotion on my shins.
Wow, the A/C! It’s sunny here and warmish.
Yeah, it was warm and muggy this afternoon. More of the same is forecast for tomorrow. Crazy weather!
Sotd is Angel Muse. 8 sprays to last me through the night, and probably into the morning. I’ve been debating only keeping out a small rotation of perfume for the winter season. I got stuck on what the definition of small should be. For those that do this, how many do you keep out? And do you stick to the rotation?
Can’t help you with summer versus winter bottle rotation. I just pull things out from my stash as I think of them.
That’s what I do too.
I don’t rotate but my definition of small would be 20, at least 5 of which should be no-brainers.
Wearing a few sprays of Lush Tuca Tuca this afternoon. I think my mini spray bottle is about 10 years old.
This morning I wore some vintage Houbigant Raffinee to start my day.
What a great perfume name. Off I go to look it up!
Continuing the week in Oeillet Bengale. I sure do like this one…
Enjoying the fall colors…
You smell lovely!
Here’s my “I have a perfume problem” tale of the day: small box arrived with an unrecognized return address. I know from the size it’s likely perfume from eBay (actually, it was Mercari). But I CANNOT remember what I ordered. Surprise! Prada Infusion d’Iris Absolue.
Late late late.
Then Habanita post bike ride.
