Shalimar Philtre de Parfum? Yes I think I saw one and will look or it.
On Fragrantica it states a lighter but more voluptuous version with more vanilla in the mix.
I signed up for a decant. I’m curious if there’ll be a lot of coffee to that iris on my skin.

Ahh silly putty!! I lived in the US for a year when I was five. I had an ear problem so they had to stay dry and we used to put silly putty in them under my bathing cap ???

My SOTD is one that was discontinued, but recently brought back. When I founf out they were bringing it back, I immediately jumped on it and bought it. We had a farewell party at work yesterday, for a colleague who’s changing jobs, that’s why I only reported my Tuesday SotD this morning.
We went to an escape room which was so much fun and challenging to solve the riddle. Then we had a group dinner at the restaurant. Came back home at 10 PM.

So rainy today – not sure I will get out. Fortunately, yesterday was gorgeous and I did 4.5 miles. I’m going to have to get over it, though – as we’ll have rain off and on for months now.
Love today’s image choice – very evocative of fairy tales and fables. SOTD is Hermes 24, Faubourg, sprayed rather lavishly.
Isn’t that nice? I think Fables has more than one illustrator, but some of the books are really amazing.
Moving on Friday, so most perfume is packed! I’m down to one baggie of samples, and I chose Aroma M Geisha Botan. I like this one every time I wear it but never quite enough to buy a bottle.
Not sure any comic character goes with peony, vanilla, and moss!

I just opened and had to sample my Molton Brown Orange and Bergamot skin lotion from the set they had on sale last week. Boy is this lovely stuff and inspired me to wear SSS Jour Ensoleille for which it is a dead ringer. Oh so lovely summer summertime.

Robin, the image you chose and the series its from reminds me of an idea I’ve had for a community project: choose a perfume to go with a fairy tale or fable.
I’m excited for this week’s CP and have my character and perfume picked out for Friday. Spoiler alert, I chose Swamp Thing because I’ve recently finished reading the entire Alan Moore run of the series from 1984-1987. There are so many perfumes that could be paired with the character!
SOTD is L’Attesa. I just thunked my first decant of it, and happily I don’t have to go without because I got another decant in a swap with pl67. ?

Today is a somber day for me. It’s twenty years now I lost my first son at 32 weeks. He was already so big with a full head of hair. I don’t know why but I didn’t anticipate this being such a tough anniversary. I stopped at the cemetery and now trying to clean my face up to go to work.

Late posting as I had a lot of distractions today. Wearing Bottega Veneta today which was a random selection and I find very blah. Did Zoom with Mom today and some cats joined us! My big toe injury from three weeks ago still hurts a lot so I’m going to my doctor tomorrow and then to a haircut. Wow, the most adventure I’ve had in six-seven months!
